The views of the rice fields were one of a kind, I visited many other hotels and home stays to check if I found something better within the same price range and I couldn’t. The rooms are bright and with wonderful views, something you won’t find easily elsewhere in central Ubud

I stayed in both the bamboo house (newer part) and the traditional cabins on the other side. Although bamboo is newer and nicer (specially the balcony) I have to say the bathrooms are better in the cheaper cabins and they are less noisy too. Bamboo has stunning views and you can tell they are newer but the noise from the neighbours was insane. You could even hear them going up and down the stairs (the steps) and as I said… shower curtains were dirty and overall I think bamboo house bathrooms can be improved. But all good in general.

It’s always a pleasure to go back to Biyukukung Suite & Spa. Location is great, walking distance from the city centre (shopping, restaurants and yoga centres) and the Monkey Forest. The rice fields view is stunning and the rooms are spotless, equipped with towels and toiletries (also a hair dryer). For the “light sleepers”: as it is in the rice fields there “nature noises”. I personally don’t mind it, instead I found it part of the wonder, but if you need absolute silence and peace at night maybe think twice before booking.

The only thing that I would suggest to improve is the WiFi signal in the rooms. Is good only at the reception.

The location of the property is good in center, but the same time it is very quiet and comfortable.

The breakfast is very poor , it is definitely cannot be considered as 4/5* breakfast. Almost no variation to choose, it looked bad with huge peaces of onion in the omelet. No fresh juices , no good coffee , no good tea. Dead guest please avoid option with breakfast included better go outside there are plenty of good options close by. Dear hotel team, kindly have a consultation with someone regarding the breakfast options, as your current breakfast is equal to a guest house / hostel or maximum 2* hotel. 🙏🏻big room to prove the service

Amazing view to rice fields in a center of Ubud! We booked bamboo villa, but we didn't like it. Quite dark place without view. Downgrade for standard room was possible. They tried to charge us for downgrade (?!), but it was solved ok. Daily cleaning was perfect. Breakfast was great. Staff was nice in their routine.

We asked to leave earlier (8->7 nights). We were told it's not possible after two days of "we are working on it". Plus room downgrade for free. Plus trying to charge us more for motorbike (pricelist is at a reception desk, but ...) This all was done with a same person. Be careful on an older lady at reception :-)

The location is excellent 10 mins walk from the centre and yoga barn. The staff make this hotel, they are so polite, hardworking & greet you with a big smile. They have a yoga studio on site but you can’t use this, it’s not part of the hotel.

The only reason I’m not giving this a 10 is because I booked very last minute and properly had the worst location of room right next to the restaurant, it had no view, really dark and abit spooky on your own.

Amazing, amazing design & property layout! Hands on to the architect (hint: privacy with many pools and eating areas in between the housings)! Great and friendly staff, it felt almost like staying with family and I'm not joking! Extremely clean as well!

The food was not that good, lacking the flavor overall while the menu can definitely be improved by adding more vegan options (plant-based milk for coffee/ oats, no-egg pancake etc.). We stayed in a bamboo house and the stairs for the bedroom were a bit old and loose, felt as if not paying attention, your foot might go through and you can have a serious fall - maybe change them with ones from light wood instead!

The view was great from our room The hotel very close to busy streets of ubud so convenient for trips but felt like a works away once inside I had one of the best massages I have ever had by Wyam in the spa ( and I have worked in this profession) . Loved the ducks that roam the rice field ! Room cleaning staff were great too . Breakfast was very calm and elegantly served .

Would have liked more choice of drinks at the pool restaurant

The surrounding feels so nice and back to nature, but still in the middle of the busy centre, so you can easily walk outside and find restaurant or cafes and back for resting after a busy day. The choice of breakfast is good, freshly made, simple but enough to start the day. Love the concept of the bamboo house. Close to our favourite restaurant: Bebek Bengil Love love the rice fields.

The water in the bathroom didn't drain fast, so if I took shower a little bit long, the bathroom is already full with water. I had a bamboo house with a loose stairs, so it feels I'm going to fall every time I step on the stairs. Plus it's not at all soundproof, you can hear everything. But I think that's acceptable in exchange with good feeling in living in a bamboo house. They don't have a small size swimming pool for small children. A random Rooster was getting up kinda early, at 3 am and woke me up. But that's not the hotel's fault :)

Biyukukung is my home in Bali.. the views are sensational and the vibe is quiet and peaceful. From the moment you arrive you are meet by gracious staff and shown to your room which is simple but comfortably laid out. I stayed at the rear of the property near the swimming pool and found it a perfect oasis.. The property is affordable and centrally located just off the main street but away from the noise and bustle.

Nothing!

Great location with all of Central Ubud in walking distance. Close to the Yoga Barn and lots of cafes, restaurants and shops. Quiet, away from traffic noise. A choice of accommodation types and pools amidst rice terraces. Room cleaned every day. Great laundry service. Good choice of breakfast including Indonesian.

Bed a bit hard for my liking. Shower was either scalding hot or cold!
