Jati Cottage is a haven amongst the busyness of the streets around. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Good location - many cafes and restaurants not too far away. I had a room on the ground floor with a sofa (as shown in the photos). Note that rooms on higher floors don’t have the sofa, so if that’s important to you, ask about it. I was able to move down after one night in an upper floor room.

The pool is small and there were always a lot of children there in the afternoons. The breakfast buffet is a bit limited.

Everything was sooo nice! The staff were so sweet and welcoming and helpful! We felt so at home at Jati Cottage and we enjoyed our stay there so much 🙏🏼 the pool area was really nice and the location was perfect as well! Everything was clean and nice! We will definitely come back another time! :)

The landscaping of the exteriors and the pool, the decor, the atmosphere of the property was nice and the room was spacious.

The property needs maintenance all around. The room had a lot of bugs and mosquitoes, more than we have encountered in rural places and around Ubud in general. There was no mosquito net as advertised. Birds inside the roof made a lot of noise in the middle of the night and a huge spider appeared in our room. The food was passable, particularly the breakfast was very weak. The WiFi was very spotty, especially in our room.

What a great 5 night stay I had at Jati Cottage. I loved the location as it was close to Yoga Barn and off the main streets of Ubud so was fairly quiet. The room was a good size, with a comfortable bed, good size area for suitcase and hanging space, and a clean and spacious bathroom. The staff were so beautiful and kind. They went out of their way to help me. I felt very safe as a female solo traveller. I loved sitting by the pool reading my book and having a yummy cocktail. Breakfasts were simple but that’s all that’s needed as the heat zapped my appetite.

The pool view of a big coconut tree was amazing. Very nice pool , also the room was so nice with smart TV and Netflix . Very cozy bathroom and amenities . The garden surroundings in the hotel was so beautiful so many exotic flowers and trees , was paradise. Personnel was so polite and smiling persons always ready to help We took a floating breakfast as well and we liked it in this amazing pool. Thank you !!!!

If it was more sun beds by the pool with shade on the other side of pool that could be even better as more people can find an empty sun bed to seat All the rest was perfect

we loved the warmth and hospitality, the attention to detail, the care of the staff and overall experience. the little bedtime letter was a very special touch for our children. the breakfasts were lovely. the location was perfect. the staff where particularly helpful. we loved our farewell gift and would definitely return to Jati Cottages again

the room picture was different on the booking.com site to our first room (no mosquito net and some other details) however the staff where very helpful and sorted this all out for us and we were very happy with the outcome

Beautiful clean resort, lovely attentive staff who are only too happy to help with any request. Included breakfast was simple, fresh fruits, pastries, Balinese cakes etc, and you could order fresh cooked eggs/omelettes to your liking. Pool and Gardens lovely and clean.

Air conditioner in room 15 is not cold. Adjusted multiple times however could not seem to get it to cool the room, made for hot and sticky nights. My adult children were in room 16 and their A/C was cold and worked great.

The friendliest staff in Ubud

There was renovation work ongoing every day which meant chilling by the pool was not really feasible due to the constant noise. We also had issues with hot water almost every day of our stay - continuously had to call reception to send someone to look into it.

We had a superior room at Jati Cottage and it was comfortable, cool and well-equipped. The staff were courteous, attentive and friendly at all times. The location is excellent for easy access to Ubud's attractions.

The restaurant is attractive, but quite dark and without sufficient ventilation to make you want to linger over your coffee. Some of the prices for excursions and spa treatments were at inflated tourist levels - definitely worth shopping around elsewhere for these things during your stay.

Perfect location! It was near many superb eateries and shops, especially along Jalan Sukma (please visit Pesona Pizza Warung and Serenity Spa). We walked to and fro central Ubud and other tourist areas such as Monkey Forest every day with no issues. Kind, polite and helpful staff - they were so friendly and warm. When they heard I fell sick, they promptly asked if I needed medication or a doctor's visit. They also arranged for transport to the airport swiftly upon our request, and the driver was incredibly professional and efficient. They also left cute little notes containing Indonesian folklores outside our room every few days, and we always looked forward to seeing them whenever we return to the hotel. Room was also very comfortable and had everything to make the stay perfect: good aircon, constant hot water, hair dryer, clothes hanger rack, and plenty of storage space.

Water pressure was not constant at times, but was strong most of the time. It would also be nice to see the flooring of the bedroom area be refreshed eg. Grout lines.
