Spent a great 6 days at satya House. It is in a perfect location in Ubud. It was quiet and we got great sleep. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was excellent value for money and even included breakfast. The pool was also a great feature to relax by. We rented bikes from here too. They cleaned the rooms upon request which was great and provided bottled water . Also they have a beautiful dog that hangs out by the pool which we loved. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great having a safety deposit box and a hairdryer too. I will book Satya house again if I visit Ubud!

We booked a week at Satya house after getting it recommended by someone we met during our stay in Bingin, and ended up enjoying it so much we extended the stay 4 more nights. The staff is super nice and helpful, and the location is absolutely dead center of Ubud. Close to the monkey forest and lots of shops and restaurants within 5-10 minutes by foot. We had a room upstairs overlooking the pool and it was very nice. Included breakfast was good with several options available. Minimal noise from the surrounding street and temple despite being very centrally located. Would highly recommend!

The location is great, it's within walking distance of many restaurants, shops and the main attractions in central Ubud such as Ubud Palace and the market. The staff was also very kind and helpful. Notably, they agreed to refund me the full amount of one of the two rooms that I had booked but ended up not using, despite the fact that a refund wasn't an option via Booking.com.

The room we were in was a bit amortised and could do with a bit more maintenance and upkeep. There was a bit of a smell from the bathroom - could be due to the rain, as we visited during the wet season.

The location is perfect and the villas are quiet. The price is equal value to what you get. The staff are very polite and the owners reside out the back of the property. This property has a pool and nothing like a cool dip after a hot day out in Ubud (a must). My room had two powerpoints in very unusual places that made it hard for the kettle and power charges to reach. The kettle is included but the cord is short. It's what makes life interesting. The breakfast is included but the menu is of balinese interpretations (small, enough for me) but food is cheap in the neighbourhood and there are plenty of other options. The facilities are clean and acceptable. The property was perfect with a Zen feel and quiet for lazy afternoons after a big day and all for an excellent value for the cost of the room.

I asked for two rooms with a large double bed but one was delivered with two singles. The double bed rolled into the middle. The lighting is very dim but I had this problem in other Ubud properties too.

Fantastic location with lots to see and eat all around, beautiful hotel gardens and dipping pool, very clean room. Surprisingly wide variety of breakfast options for a little hotel, and all generous and delicious. Had to get on the laptop for a quick work call and wifi was strong and stable. Lovely breakfast bar setup next to the pool for those who need to work on the go. Arrived late at night and check-in was smooth and easy. Perfect, hospitable service all round.

Balcony door was tricky to close/open Very odd, but, at times, in the evening, there was some sort of animal (cat probably) in the loft chasing mice or something else... causing the ceiling to tremble and shake, small bits of dust falling on the bed, on us.

Satya House is in a great location with shopping, restaurants and tourist attractions within walking distance. The hotel is located back from the street so it is quiet at night. The staff are great, they arranged an awesome driver named Yoga to take us on a sunrise tour. Our room was spacious and clean, the shower had good pressure and was hot. The hotel grounds were peaceful and well maintained.

Extra power points and a bedside table would have been helpful but we were only there for a couple of nights so it was fine.

My recent stay at Sataya House in Ubud was an absolute delight. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the smooth and easy check-in process. My room on the second floor was a haven of comfort, with a stunning view overlooking the plunge pool. The staff at Sataya House were the true highlight of my stay. They were incredibly welcoming and helpful, always ready to answer any questions I had. Putu Edsel and Gung Sastra deserve a special shoutout for their exceptional service. The location of Sataya House is simply perfect. Situated on one of Ubud's main streets, it's within easy walking distance of countless restaurants and shops. This made it incredibly convenient to explore the city and experience the vibrant local culture. The courtyard at Sataya House is a true gem. Lush greenery and a tranquil atmosphere make it the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. Overall, my experience at Sataya House was truly wonderful. The comfortable rooms, helpful staff, and fantastic location make it a top choice for anyone seeking a peaceful and convenient stay in Ubud. I highly recommend it and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

I stayed 3 days in this house, and it’s been the best stay experience I’ve had in Bali so far. The Balinese ambiance was incredible, the room spacious, the house spotlessly clean and the breakfast is yumms. The staff were super friendly and helpful—Agung (if I’m not mistaken). The location is also very strategic for me. I’m worried this place might just become my second home.

Everything was great, but perhaps the room door could be fix and the lock could be modernized a bit for added convenience. 💚

It's right next to a school or something with a lot of kids and musical instruments playing, so during the day there's quite a bit of noise, but nothing too bad. Overall highly recommended.
