First time visit to Bali. We stay Arsa Homestay & Spa. It was very good calm place, the perfect place to relax. The people were very helpful. Breakfast in the morning was very good and delicous. We had fruit, crepes and toast. I really recommend to get the Balinese Massage here. Before sleep, i had a massage that helped me relax and I was able to sleep. I could feel the energy from my masseuse and it was very different. The location is very central to be able to visit Monkey forest , Temples and Cafes and market. The hosts are really easy to get on with and know the area. Thank you for hosting us, and when I go back I will be going back to the same place :)

I normally stay north of Jalan Raya, but decided on this location on this occasion. I wasn't disappointed, a very nice property, a traditional Balinese homestay, individual units, with traditional architecture. Breakfast was good, wifi reliable, aircon good, and bed comfortable. A BIG plus was the provision of a 4 point power board, so that only one power point was required, for all devices.

I thought the whole property and experience were more than acceptable, and will book again. There was bubbling paint on the lower walls from 'rising damp' due to a damp proof course not being used in construction, very common in Bali. I do find the 'partially refundable' less than a good idea. If I cancel immediately after I book, I lose 50%, not a lot of money, but unnecessary. They could have free cancellation until 3, o 5, days prior.

We loved our time at Arsa during our visit to Ubud. The setting was extremely peaceful and relaxing, and felt far removed from the busy Ubud streets despite being in a central location. We loved the outdoor space and enjoyed having breakfast and tea/coffee there in the morning, with beautiful architecture and a view of the family's temple within the grounds. The bathroom was basic but fine for our stay. We were made to feel very welcome and we were helped with queries about scooter hire and laundry etc. I also had a massage and body scrub during our stay which was amazing and very reasonably priced. We would definitely recommend this place and would come back again.

Towels could do with being changed every couple of days (I'm sure if we would have asked this wouldn't have been a problem).

Amazing experience of staying with a kind balinese family. They are really kind and helpful. I arrived almost midnight, and they were wating me with hotwater to make tea. I felted part of the big family. The place is near everything you may need, but it is still quiet and clean. They sell water, which was helpful too. The breakfast was simple but tasteful. They have a spa, and you can have a massage there, too. It was my first time in Bali, and I felt I started with the right foot! 😊

The internet wasn't good enough for me to work. I believe that if you need just for leisure, it's ok. The water from the shower is not so much, but I managed it.

We have stayed at this place a total of 4 times over the past 20 years. We LOVE this place. Excellent location that is easy to find and set back from the street so it is quiet and serene. The family that runs this place are so warm and friendly. Our daughters have gotten to know their daughter over the years. Rooms are basic but super clean, comfortable, and have a real Balinese feel to them. Outstanding location close to everything.

This was my second stay at Arsa, a very nice family compound development. The architecture is traditional, and very appealing. The bed was comfortable, bathroom functional, and wife fast and reliable. Breakfast of eggs or pancakes was served on the verandah, basic but tasty. A BIG plus for me is coffee making facilities!!

No aircon, but I knew that when I booked, so it's not a negative, just a heads up for people looking to book there. It's easy to overlook.

We had the loveliest stay at Arsa Homestay and Spa. The host family was so lovely and always happy to help, whether it be lending a raincoat or picking us up from the airport and arranging a taxi for us to get to our next stay. The location was excellent, close to everything yet still feeling private as it was down a little walk alleyway. The gardens were very beautiful and the dog was very sweet too!

One of the best places to stay in Ubud. This place was at the center, and every famous street was like 5 mins walk away. Even after being so close to the busiest street, it was so peaceful staying here, there were no noise at night and it was worth every penny I paid. Totally worth it. The people and staff were really nice.

the only problem- if you are renting a motorbike, it might be difficult for you to drive your motorbike to this place, the gate is too steep and you need someone (locals) help to drive through the gate. Rest everything was good.

Amazing traditional homestay with local family. Love the style of these traditional houses. The room was big, had a ceiling fan and the bed was very comfortable. Excellent large patio out the front to sit and relax. Refillable thermos for hot tea and coffee. Good breakfast included in the excellent price. Massages on site were excellent too. Amazing location, can walk to all you need in Ubud whilst also set back off the street so it is still quiet here to sleep at night. Only two rooms so you will have a quiet stay. Great family stay and really enjoyed our time here.

The shower was super hot, just the water pressure was very very low

Lovely stay in family-owned apartment with very kind host. They were always helpful with any questions that we had. Probably the highest value-to-costs ratio that I've ever had. The place is very central, you can walk around Ubud from there very comfortably.

The central location has the con that all the sounds from the city are there at night - not very loud, but if one is very sensitive to noises at night, it can be disturbing (though it wasn't our case).
