Butiful hotel remarkably quite - for Asia - and excellent value

Cleanliness is not high but its ok for the money and not the fault of the staff who l think are underpaid and overworked - in the garden. The owner has the ground floor and his kids and baby and his annoying/gorgeous/shit on the pathway snappy dogs so the staff feel compelled to constantly managage and sweep the garden - even during Neyupi - to the neglect of other things that the owner doesnt care about.

It's a family house that we stayed and was the top floor from which you can oversee Ubud. There's another house on the same lot where the bungalows are. The house is an authentic one with high ceiling, and yes, it does smell sewage from bathroom but it's not too bad, and hey it's an old house. Being in center of the town and enjoying this authenticity was really great. Pool was clean, garden was well maintained and the family living on ground floor friendly.

Maybe more clear directions how to reach the place as it is at the end of a narrow street, off the main street. Wifi was not the best, but it was better than many other places in Ubud for this price. Really, you can't complain for what you get for such price.

- Owners (helped with an issue with a dodgy *blue coloured* taxi, very pleasant, helped with every issue immediately) - Owners' dogs (cute little pomeranians, one is cheeky, watch out for them they're very small!) - Owners' tortoises (so cool, but look out for them, they're also small!) - Pool (clean, large) - Breakfast (consistently amazing, very filling) - View/Garden (so calming and away from the busy street)

- Mattress (a bit hard and felt every spring) - Water Pressure (still worked but not very much pressure)

HIDDEN GEM! Absolutely in love with this place!! I'm shocked to see the poor reviews as this place exceeded my expectations. It's in a lane in Ubud so it's very quiet despite it's prime location in the center of Ubud. The garden is immaculate, they spend so much time pruning it and it's just gorgeous. With a pool and if you have the balcony you overlook both of these as well as a rice field and the sunset. The rooms are a bit older but it doesn't really matter when youre busy around Ubud. I loved hanging out from a break of the busyness of Ubud either on my balcony or in the pool/garden but most especially with the puppies!! They have two new puppies that are so adorable and the highlight of my day. Wayan the owner is such a sweet soul and beautiful human. We had many chats and he has a beautiful story. I will definitely be coming back and in the mean time I will miss this place. Also they clean your room everyday which I didn't even need it I told them not to but it's a nice touch. Highly recommend especially for the price !

The breakfast is great, brought to the terrace in front of your room and eaten in peace or with a view of the pool or nature. Beautiful surroundings, the accommodation is in the centre of town, it feels like being in the middle of the jungle. The town is very nice, many shops, markets. The people are very friendly, unobtrusive. We had a nice feeling in the whole town. The swimming pool in the accommodation is great, we really enjoyed swimming before breakfast.

Everything was great in the accommodation. However, the air in the city is bad because of the traffic, it's very crowded.

I cannot recommend this place enough! The property/gardens is GORGEOUS and lush. The pool is beautiful and refreshing. The staff is sweet and accommodating--they were able to extend my stay and did my laundry super quickly, for cheap! Location is ideally central yet tucked away so pretty quiet. Beds were SO COMFY, I slept very well. My room even had a bathtub and a balcony. EXCELLENT value for the money. I wish I could stay longer, and will stay here next time that I visit Ubud.

Absolutely nothing!

Excellent, real value for money. Room on first floor with views one side over fields & other over the pool & well maintained, attractive gardens. Large room, good bathroom with bath and plenty of hot water. Breakfast included and delivered to room at requested time. Staff really lovely and helpful. Lots of cafes and shops around it and large Coco supermarket about 500m. Very quiet at night. Is down a lane off the main road. I’d definitely stay again 👍

No kettle but was given one when I asked so that was good. No fridge and wifi weak in room

A really lovely little oasis in the busyness & heat of Ubud. Room was very good & clean with front & back door for air flow. One view was over a rice field & the other over pool. Pool ( set in beautiful, cool, neat gardens) was a godsend after walking all day. AC & wifi excellent, basic good breakfast. Location mid way between monkey Forest & Palace on main road. Everything within walking distance of couple of kms. Surrounded by shops, cafes etc but off main road down a quiet lane. Owners extremely nice & helpful-lovely, lovely people. Definitely recommend ( price was very good)

No fridge or kettle in room but was loaned a kettle when I asked

The locals were so welcoming, though spoke with broken English but that's fine by me! The room was delightful, stunning mountainous view, outside shower, fridge, drinking water, artwork, comfy bed. I loved my stay and extended it was so happy here 😊

The only issue is the method of transport and there is no where to eat in the village, but if you get chatting to the locals they are more than happy to help! There was also the noise at night, with islamic chanting, karaoke and drum circles. But everything was over by 10pm.
