I stayed in the king suite on the top floor for 3 nights as my first stop in Bali. I had a smooth pick up by the hotel driver at the airport which cost 500k. The room was very clean, the bed was gigantic and I had an ok view of the garden and cafe next door. I liked the modern decoration but I just wished the sink area (outside the bathroom) was slightly bigger with a vanity area. I liked that they provided free refills of water every day. The pool area is small but has a nice atmosphere and was clean, they also provided pool towels. The staff were nice, they could have been slightly more helpful with organising onwards travel but otherwise they were polite. I had a Balinese massage for 350k (half price) which I think was an appropriate price. The masseuse Ade was amazing and so nice, the massage was also great with tea before and after. You can hear the road noise but it was manageable. The cafe next door serves very nice coffee although I didn’t try the food. Overall I would recommend, the hotel overall was great for the price.

Not the fault of the hotel but it’s quite difficult to walk on the street as there is not much of a pavement and it’s a busy street with lots of cars and scooters. It was about a 15 min walk to Ubud palace so overall not too bad. Also as I was on the top floor with a wrap around balcony, I did hear some noises at the window that semi freaked me out as a solo female traveller but it was probably nothing

Everything is nice. Your staff was great!

1. When you’re laying in bed, the air condition hits you right on the head and you freeze and if you turn the air conditioner off, it’s too hot. You can’t breathe. I wish they would’ve adjusted someway. 2. The pool was not usable for some reason we would’ve loved to go in it.

Perfect location to enjoy all of the benefits of Ubud. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

When the air conditioner was not turned on, the room smelled moldy. We also received a lot of mosquito bites

Good area for walking to central Ubud, Monkey Forest, shops, and markets. Highly recommend Lynked (upper and lower) restaurants, Golden Monkey restaurant and Milk&Madu. Flock restaurant next door is convenient and tasty. Worth including breakfast with your room. Bagus and Agus are excellent drivers and tour guides. The staff is very attentive, helpful and accommodating. Private patio on first floor rooms, preferred over balconies. Would definitely stay here again. A big thank you to all the staff.

No television unless you signed into your own paid viewing. Such as Netflix, etc.

Staying at this hotel for the second time felt like coming home. From the friendly staff who remembered me to the cozy comfort of the room, every moment was filled with warmth and hospitality. It's more than just a place to stay; it's where memories are made. Without a doubt, it's my go-to haven for every future trip.

Good experience , It was nyepi ( Islands Festival of Silence ). Hotel made it extra special by providing us with proper information , breakfast , lunch, and dinner during that particular day . They provided breakfast every day for us, including an additional meal for my 9-year-old boy . Thou the breakfast comes with a menu, not like a standard Hotel buffet set up . Oh , the bed , could I bring it back home ? So, comfortable. The staff , very friendly , Pak Wayan ( The hotel security ) and I had a good chat ( Hello to you ) see you again soon pak . The pool was impeccably clean and maintained . The room's layout is kind of unique , The bathroom is clean , and the water is not smelly like other hotels usually filled with chlorine odor , this one always had hot water and was not stinky. I loved the stay , If I do visit Ubud again. ARTOTEL is my choice for sure .

The room was beautiful. Super clean. It was easy to relax. The hotel is an easy walk to the Palace and Art market. There was heaps of choice with many restaurants, coffee and massages nearby.The hotel had an in-house spa/massage and free yoga twice a week. Flock, just next door was a favourite. Their breakfast which was included in our room cost was excellent. We discovered we liked their Karasu coffee as the local coffee had a little bitter afternote. Flock also provided an excellent meal as room service.Staff at Flock and the hotel were friendly and helpful. The pool was very good and again the cleanliness and attention to detail was of a high standard.

The hotel is on a fairly busy road, however with the balcony door closed you heard no traffic noise, so it wasn't really an issue.

The rooms were large and generally comfortable. We were in the only two rooms on the top floor (3rd) other than the office and the spa, so we didn't have any passing foot traffic. There was also a lovely little welcome package on our beds as well. The staff were wonderful and accommodated our every need. They also helped us book a tour guide through the hotel that took us out for 5 hours to see Ubud. The hotel also offers welcome drinks and food vouchers for the cafe next door, and spa packages. The central location makes it easy to catch a Grab to anywhere in central Ubud for next to nothing. We had a great spa experience and chose to do it as our very last activity to round out our holiday :)

The street outside is busy and chaotic at all times, which can make it quite noisy and the sound travels into the rooms. The hotel does offer ear plugs though, so they're aware of the noise factor and counteract it best they can - this would be a problem anywhere in Ubud though, so not the fault of the hotel. We had a little trouble locking our balcony doors until we were shown the trick to it. I found the bed to be a little hard, but it didn't affect my quality of sleep at all. I also found there was no hot water going to the vanity sink, so I had to wet my face cloth of a morning in the shower to get it hot. There's no lift / elevator, which was tough on our legs after a long day of sight-seeing at first, but I was running up the three flights by the last day without any trouble.

I had an incredible experience staying at Artotel Haniman in Ubud. The room was beautifully designed, with stylish furniture and a huge, super comfortable bed that made it hard to leave in the morning! Breakfast is served at the coffee shop next door and it was absolutely delicious – a perfect start to each day. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming throughout my stay, and they went above and beyond by preparing a lovely birthday surprise in my room. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made my day extra special. Overall, everything from the design to the service was top-notch. Highly recommended – I’d love to come back again!

The staff always had a smile on their faces and was very attentive to every issue that I had during my stay. They were always ready to answer any questions that I had. The hotel is located in a great spot, about 15 to 20 minutes walking to the city center. The room was neat and clean upon check-in and room cleaning is provided everyday. The hotel offers yoga sessions, spa treatments, and toured guides. I ended up extending my stay at the hotel for another week because of how convenient the location was, the amazing staff, and how great the rooms were.
