Great location. Walking distance to the 2 main strips of Ubud. In the middle so made it super convenient. Rooms were big and super clean. It was a really nice touch gifting cookies and a tote bag. I used that tote for the duration of my bali trip, super handy. Staff were super friendly. Thanks for a great stay. Would stay again.

Only criticism would be that the pool can be seen by the restaurant next door.

1. When you’re laying in bed, the air condition hits you right on the head and you freeze and if you turn the air conditioner off, it’s too hot. You can’t breathe. I wish they would’ve adjusted someway. 2. The pool was not usable for some reason we would’ve loved to go in it.

I stayed in the king suite on the top floor for 3 nights as my first stop in Bali. I had a smooth pick up by the hotel driver at the airport which cost 500k. The room was very clean, the bed was gigantic and I had an ok view of the garden and cafe next door. I liked the modern decoration but I just wished the sink area (outside the bathroom) was slightly bigger with a vanity area. I liked that they provided free refills of water every day. The pool area is small but has a nice atmosphere and was clean, they also provided pool towels. The staff were nice, they could have been slightly more helpful with organising onwards travel but otherwise they were polite. I had a Balinese massage for 350k (half price) which I think was an appropriate price. The masseuse Ade was amazing and so nice, the massage was also great with tea before and after. You can hear the road noise but it was manageable. The cafe next door serves very nice coffee although I didn’t try the food. Overall I would recommend, the hotel overall was great for the price.

Not the fault of the hotel but it’s quite difficult to walk on the street as there is not much of a pavement and it’s a busy street with lots of cars and scooters. It was about a 15 min walk to Ubud palace so overall not too bad. Also as I was on the top floor with a wrap around balcony, I did hear some noises at the window that semi freaked me out as a solo female traveller but it was probably nothing

Fabulous Team of people. Ryan and his team made my stay amazing and I loved the hotel. Great area for swimming and good location. Rooms were beautiful and clean and only 1 mosquito entered my room the whole 6 days! There was one bit of miscommunication and I was deeply grateful for the way they rectified the situation. The hotel made sure I was happy every moment. I am so glad I chose to stay here. As a female solo traveller I sometimes have to think about my safety and this place made me feel safe 100%. The cookies and welcome drink was a fabulous gesture after a 19 hour flight!

We loved the room. The bed was comfy. The staff were very friendly.

However, be aware. If you use the umbrella from your room, bring back the same one. You aren't told, but the room number is written on the inside of the umbrella at the top! It bucketed down and when we went to the restaurant next door, we took the umbrella from the wrong room number. Let's face it, they all look the same. The charge for a replacement umbrella was a whopping 195,000 rupiah! It would have been good to have been warned about this as we wouldn't have used the umbrellas at all. We were okay with paying for one which was taken by someone at Yoga Barn. But we were not going to pay for the one that was obviously in another room. Sadly this tarnished what would have been a fantastic experience.

Good area for walking to central Ubud, Monkey Forest, shops, and markets. Highly recommend Lynked (upper and lower) restaurants, Golden Monkey restaurant and Milk&Madu. Flock restaurant next door is convenient and tasty. Worth including breakfast with your room. Bagus and Agus are excellent drivers and tour guides. The staff is very attentive, helpful and accommodating. Private patio on first floor rooms, preferred over balconies. Would definitely stay here again. A big thank you to all the staff.

No television unless you signed into your own paid viewing. Such as Netflix, etc.

When the air conditioner was not turned on, the room smelled moldy. We also received a lot of mosquito bites

Good experience , It was nyepi ( Islands Festival of Silence ). Hotel made it extra special by providing us with proper information , breakfast , lunch, and dinner during that particular day . They provided breakfast every day for us, including an additional meal for my 9-year-old boy . Thou the breakfast comes with a menu, not like a standard Hotel buffet set up . Oh , the bed , could I bring it back home ? So, comfortable. The staff , very friendly , Pak Wayan ( The hotel security ) and I had a good chat ( Hello to you ) see you again soon pak . The pool was impeccably clean and maintained . The room's layout is kind of unique , The bathroom is clean , and the water is not smelly like other hotels usually filled with chlorine odor , this one always had hot water and was not stinky. I loved the stay , If I do visit Ubud again. ARTOTEL is my choice for sure .
