Our stay was short but perfect. Excellent location close to Monkey forest. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Nice room with a view on the garden. Loved the design of the bathtub, ideal for two. Would highly recommend.

Avoid having breakfast there. The hotel collaborates with the next door restaurant and in the first morning we ordered from their "à la carte" breakfast. We had to wait 1h30 to get delivered. Then our order wasn't complete, a coffee and a juice were missing and the food was not very tasty. They explained the delay by saying that the restaurant was full of outside guests which we thought was not an acceptable excuse.

This is a great place to stay. The room was lovely. We were in a pool villa and it was divine. The pool was small but deep and very clean and we loved taking a dip after our hot outings. We ate breakfast locally and this is easy as practically everywhere nearby has yummy food. The restaurant out front is fine too. There are so many things in walking distance - the Monkey Forest, Yoga Barn, art, massage, the market and temple. The staff are exceptional. We would definitely stay here again.

The bed was a little on the hard side.

Excellent value for money. Great location. Ubud is an incredibly busy place but this hotel is a step off the main road, and is incredibly quiet and calm. We had a beautiful view of the forest and organic garden from our room and felt like we were out of the city. Highly recommend. The restaurant attached is also great, and very good (Melbourne style) coffee at a little stand in front.

Loved staying at Tegal Sari, great location, the deluxe room was very spacious and open. There were plenty of great activities to do through Tegal sari. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend the morning journey and Balinese cooking class! .

The room got pretty hot, although aircon worked well.

The location is amazing! Just off the main street (close to restaurants and shops) yet quiet enough to get a good night's sleep. I lived the rice fields next door- there were little birds flying around that we watched for ages. The villa was really comfortable for 2. The outdoor pool was a great size for a relaxing soak after a day out exploring. The breakfast was excellent! And the staff are super helpful and friendly.

We couldn't figure out which switches turned which lights on and off. Some of them seemed to be on a timer and went off while we were still in the pool one night.

Our one bedroom villa with private pool far exceeded expectations. It was a stunning experience to stay there, the pool was stunning as were the other facilities. The hotel is very long and narrow and sits between rice fields on both sides so there’s a wonderful blend of nature and the busy hubbub of Ubud. Well located near restaurants and the monkey forest which I suggest getting to as soon as it opens. The staff were lovely and super helpful.

As it was off season the hotel were doing some maintenance outside our villa which involved cutting paving stones to size. This was very noisy and I did raise this with the front desk at which point the noise stopped.

From the moment we were picked up the staff did everything to make our stay perfect. The room we had was stunning, overlooking the organic garden they keep to use in the restaurant. We loved the grounds, the food, the pools, but the staff is unbelievable. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay. Highly recommend!

My only suggestion is for during the welcome tour, the staff should point out adults only rooftop pool. We left the main pool to get away from children screaming and 15 minutes later those same people w children came up to the rooftop pool. They shouldn’t have even been there. The rules are written at the bottom of 4 flights of stairs and adults over 17 is mixed into the rules in the middle.

We loved the property, very close walking to so many things. We especially loved the staff that helped us go to a Bali FC football match. We took personalized trips for a very affordable rate. The room was immaculate, the grounds were lovely. The food was great and the in coffee and refrigerator were perfect. We loved it so much we stayed another week. They gave us a return customer rate which was half the price from what we originally paid. No misquotes, had a lovely house gecko. Shampoo and shower gel were nice and they are a very environmentally conscious accommodation with plans to stay affordable while being an example for other accommodations. We especially loved the relaxed staff and on guided tours while driving had the most wonderful conversations

We loved everything not a bad word to say

The facility is well positioned, many options for breakfast/lunch/dinner around. The set up was very nice, the pool was awesome and everything related to the garden was probably the result of an architect's work. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They tried to solve every request we had.

The main issue we had is that the noise was very high level during the night mostly because our villa was right next to the main street. There were also some roosters making a lot of noise very early in the morning (5.30 am), so we were unable to fall asleep again. This happened every morning during our stay, so it's not an isolated incident. The premises need a bit of renovation, the folding doors mostly, but also the floor outside. "The bathroom" outside might be an inconvenience depending on the season because you might run into a mosquito territory. One can find similar prices in Europe, so I think it's a bit overpriced.

It is a perfect location just right on Monkey Forest street and very convenient to access to major areas in Ubud. Spacious and effective layout room with Balinese decor where you can feel tranquility of the Ubud area. The hotel caters wise range of services with professional staff with full of hospitality mind set-All of them were so helpful in prompt action whatever I asked their support. This hotel will be my default accommodation when I come back to Ubud.
