Our room on the third floor was overlooking the pool which is very unique with lounge chair in the water. The yoga studio on the roof had wonderful views and visited by monkeys in the morning. My wife did her yoga by herself in the morning after borrowed a yoga mat from the reception. The restaurant attached to the hotel, also opened to everyone, has a good assortments of vegan food including breakfast. The staff was very friendly and remembered our names. From the hotel you can walk very easliy all over town. The hotel driver that drove us back to the airport was excellent.

Really there was nothing that we did not like.

Stunning property with well kept gardens, pool, restaurant and all other areas. Super clean with workers constantly around keeping gardens and pool maintained and sparkling. Also the mopped the floors early morning with a nice smelling disinfectant. The rooms also we spotless, and cleaned daily with free water bottles topped up daily. We sadly were sick for our 5 day stay and it was the best place to be sick and stuck at. Stunning view from room 111 also with plunge pool. Get to see squirrels and some monkeys cruising along the roof. The workers do their best to scare monkeys away and we had no close encounters but was beautiful seeing them and we would have loved a close encounter haha the workers all so kind and caring also. They were very attentive and we’ll definitely be back. Also sacred monkey forest 1 minute walk away and close to all main streets and attractions

Absolutely nothing, highly recommend staying here

The service overall was absolutely brilliant, and the housekeeping wonderful. The rooms were serviced sometimes twice a day. The staff were so friendly. For the price, the value for money, including breakfast, was brilliant. My daughter and I really enjoyed it here, she is a toddler and the staff were fantastic with her. The pool was great for her with a lot of shallow areas around the sunloungers to play in. Location wise, the hotel isn't too far from Ubud palace and the markets and Sweet Orange Walk which we enjoyed amongst the rice fields. We walked once however the taxi fare was cheap for the other trips to this location from hotel. Some good restaurants nearby for choice and near larger supermarket for drinks etc. Monkey Forest nextdoor makes a plan for the day inexpensive as no travel costs to get here.

The cocktails I think could be improved which would help the restaurant be more busy in the evening times during happy hour. Babysitting service would have been good, maybe a kids play area handy for this service at hotel.

EVERYTHING! Welcome drink on arrival was lovely. The staff were exceptional and so attentive. Breakfast was delicious - you choose from a menu of items and get unlimited juice and tea or coffee. The pancakes and French toast were amazing! The room was huge and having a private plunge pool, plus a huge bath, was such a highlight. The pool was warm enough to swim in. We had our laundry done and that was quick and affordable too. There were ants outside our room but when we told reception, it was sorted straight away, which is all you can ask for. After exploring Ubud, we realised the location was the best part of the area, with plenty of outstanding restaurants, bars and spas nearby. Couldn’t recommend the hotel enough!

I booked a plunge pool room and it was a good price as I booked my holiday 6 months in advance. I am not sure I'd bother booking a plunge pool again as the plunge pool rooms are directly next to, and facing the hotel pool, and they are aren't really private. Room and bathroom are modern. The breakfast is from a menu which I prefer as I have had food poisoning before from a buffet in Bali. The menu has a great variety of options including cooking eggs how one prefers. Staff were wonderful. Hotel is about a 20 to 25 minute walk from Ubud market and Ubud palace. Both the palace and water palace take about ten minutes to look around each fyi. Monkey forest is a five minute walk away. I took a taxi to the Campuhan Ridge walk but decided to walk back to the hotel after the walk. If one is reasonably fit and you go early in the day, can easily walk there and back.

Came here for Christmas 2024 Love this hotel centrally located next to the Monkey Forest lots of shops and warungs nearby and the best coffee. Breakfast was amazing there is no buffet breakfast set menu only with lots of options The bed was so comfortable and the air con worked great just such a lovely hotel The 2nd time staying here in a pool access room this hotel has become our favorite in Ubud I can't wait to come back. We did offering making class so beautiful and was placed on the temple at the top of the hotel.

Anumana is in a great location to many restaurants, monkey forest, and shopping. The hotel had a great breakfast that was included in our reservation. Many people in our group took advantage of the spa massage offerings. The staff was very nice, and the rooms were very clean. I would definitely stay there again.

Traffic in Bali is insane. It took extra time getting to various activities due to lots of chaotic traffic. But Anumana can't control that. So not a fault of the hotel at all. In fact, we walked to many restaurants and shopping.

Every staff member was delightful and was my favourite thing about this hotel - Sophie at the restaurant was a sweetheart, reception always greeted you with the biggest smile as you walked past, housekeeping and even security guard all very friendly!! Being seated for check in and then taken to the restaurant afterwards for a welcome drink all felt so nice, it really kick started a great vacation. Bed was very comfortable, location was great with plenty of restaurants around and monkey forest just a few minutes walk. Breakfast can be chosen from a menu and comes with tea & fruit platter. The western options werent tasty but the Indonesian options were delicious. If you miss breakfast due to an early start, they can arrange a breakfast box of pastries & juice. We were able to pick up a breakfast box from reception at 1.30am before our Mt Batur sunrise hike.

The pool was cleaned daily however it had a cloudy look to it so we didnt swim in it.

I had a fantastic four-night stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The hotel’s surroundings were beautiful, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

One unforgettable experience during our stay was encountering a baby king cobra outside our door at 2 AM! While it was a bit startling, it’s a reminder that this hotel is close to nature, which adds to its charm. The management was very responsive when we informed them and took precautions to ensure guest safety. If you’re staying here, just be mindful of wildlife and take care when walking around at night.

I had a fantastic stay at Anumana Hotel . The staff were exceptional, always smiling, helpful, and ready to assist with anything we needed. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing environment throughout our stay. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the Monkey Forest and other attractions in Ubud. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area!

The only downside was that our room was separated from the neighboring room by a locked connecting door, which occasionally allowed sound to pass through.
