Excellent stay! I was a first time solo 20 year old female traveller and this stay made me feel very comfortable! The location is excellent! Walking distance to everything and close to yoga. They have a lot of activities which were really good value in which I highly recommend! The staff and facilities are excellent! It has a relaxed social culture which was really nice for my stay. Will definitely be back!

Aghhh this place is like a small portion of heaven on earth. I really loved the vibe!! I’m always sceptical when it comes to hostels and cleanliness, however it was really clean, beds were big and comfortable and we had a huge locker. Everyone was super friendly, it is a chill vibe. People usually read a book by the pool or chit chat, have a drink. It’s not loud, it’s just perfectly balanced. Staff was there to help with anything, Wishnu and Wayan were one of the people that would brigthen my day. There are also free joga classes in the morning and 15 minutes massage daily. Loved it so much 🤍💫

Very nice hostel with mostly very friendly staff. Cleaned frequently and a very good social vibe with a lot of effort made with activities to bring travelers together.

Had a disagreement over a 2% card fee which is not mentioned on any booking site and they do not accept payment through booking.com. Attitude was ‘it’s only 2%’ but I believe this should be mentioned before the charge being added to your card. Towels could do with a better clean but the hostel itself is very clean and well looked after.

This is hands down the best hostel I have ever stayed at. The rooms are so clean, beds are amazing, the setting is so lovely with the pool and garden area but above all is the staff. They really go above and beyond to make sure you have a lovely stay. Everyday here was filled with positivity and fun, and flowers from Wayan! Him, Wisnu and all the rest of ste staff were always there with a smile to help with a smile whenever I needed anything! The free massages, free daily yoga and puppies coming to play were such lovely touches that made my stay even more special. This hostel is the perfect combination of chill and social and was so easy to meet people as a solo traveller. Could not recommend this hostel enough, it’s just amazing! Would give 10 stars if I could!! Didn’t want to leave - thanks so much!! I will definitely be back in future! 🥰

Nothing! Everything was great

The atmosphere at puri gardens is great for solo travellers everyone is very friendly and eager to meet other travellers. The staff have great English speaking skills which makes it easy to communicate about the hotel amenities, local area and onward travel. The day trip was an amazing experience while I stayed at puri and the activities put on by the hostel are great for solo travellers to meet others.

The daily yoga class every morning is great but it would have been better suited to having it later in the morning e.g 8am/9am as getting up before 7am to do a yoga class is hard work while you're on holiday mode.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at in Bali! Absolutely incredible. The staff are so welcoming and kind - especially Wisnu, Bayu and Erra! They helped me organize my trip and made my stay at Puri that much more enjoyable. They have family dinners with great food and it makes it easy to meet other people especially as a solo traveller. They helped me book the Mt batur sunrise hike and have lots of activities you can do at the hostel and around Ubud as well. I ended up extending because it was just so good. Lastly the beds are comfortable, clean and have curtains which is always a plus. You get your own locker that is decently large to fit all your belongings that way the floors are clear of bags which is one of my biggest pet peeves in hostels lol

The only downside was the toilets and showers are mixed and a bit of a walk from the room. But this was only a problem when it was raining.

I had a lovely time at Puri Gardens. Big thank you to Sri for the offering making workshop and the good chats. All the activities were amazing, they do a fantastic job. Loved the rescue puppies that come to visit. The pedicures and massages make for a very relaxing time. All the staff are so friendly especially the ‘always happy Wyan.’ They keep the place SO sparkling clean. Very convenient location with short 5 min walk to Yoga barn back entrance.

Sometimes the music was a bit too loud at breakfast and early on in the day.

The shared dorm had big comfortable beds with curtains. The lockers were big enough to put everything inside. Everyone had their own shelf next to the sink to put toiletries. Free morning yoga was lovely and free massage and manicure were a nice add. I loved that you could refill your water bottle in the common area. Nice relaxed hostel vibe. It was quiet to get a good sleep.

I found it strange that you could not lock the door to the room. Breakfast could have been bigger with more options. The bathroom should have more towel nobs for everyone and also something to put your clothes, instead on the bathroom floor when taking a shower.

This is hands down the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at! The blend of traditional Balinese architecture with modern amenities creates a stunning and unique atmosphere. The common areas are always clean and beautifully designed, making it a pleasure to relax there. The attached café serves delicious breakfasts and is perfect for working remotely. The hostel strikes the ideal balance between being social without feeling like a party spot. My friends and I stayed in the 4-bed female dorm, which was incredibly comfortable and stylish, complete with a private bathroom and all the comforts of a hotel. Highly recommend this place!

- Great sized beds with curtains for privacy and spacious rooms - Designated beds and lockers so all very organised - Delicious breakfast included and food during the day was good too - Amazing pool area - Social activities but also quiet in the evenings after 11pm. Good place to make friends and chill out - Everything felt very clean

- The six bed dorms don’t have en suite and the bathroom is quite far away from the bedroom so just have to hope you don’t need to pee in the night!
