The villas were in an excellent location, the staff were extremely helpful and kind and made us feel so welcome. The breakfast was amazing and the option of a floating breakfast was wonderful. The villa staff created a beautiful floral and towel display for our extended honeymoon which we were so pleased with. The bathtub was perfect and it was so lovely to have a calm and relaxing space. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend these villas.

It would be helpful to have a few more plugs in the room especially by the sides of the beds. The bottom bedsheet did not cover the full bed so sometimes it was the bare mattress.

Staff were super accommodating and I like how private your villa is. It’s sooo quiet and removed from the street that there was no noise. We slept amazing! The pull was nice and they bring breakfast to you each morning. Has its own beautiful rice paddy too and just very quiet and peaceful in general. Bathrooms are STUNNING! Loved it. And the big floor to ceiling windows are so nice yet you still have tons of privacy. Staff were super accommodating too. When we arrived we noticed blood stains on our sheets which is fine, it happens, and when we WhatsApped them for new ones, they changed them within 15min. It was great!

These villas are beautiful, and quite private, set around a rice paddy field. The breakfast was fine, but the fact that you could have it as a floating breakfast at your private pool made it very special. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was great - walkable to the Monkey Forest and Ubud Palace. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby.

The only thing that wasn't great was the kitchen, which felt dusty and unused, and not particularly clean. This did not matter for us too much, as we only used the fridge for drinks, and ate out most meals.

I had a lovely 5 night stay at Wana Karsa Villas. All pictures as advertised. Very peaceful considering the villa is located just off the main road and has its own little rice paddy! Amazing feature having your own private pool which is surrounded by plants and trees. The ground floor of the villa is open to the elements so expect to see some tiny lizards and frogs near the pool area, I only saw one or two. The top floor of the villa has a spacious bedroom and bathroom. The air conditioning in the room was great and I’d suggest closing the curtains during the day to keep the room even cooler. I did hear some noise from a local bar but this was only on one occasion and to be expected just off the main road; they provide ear plugs in the room but I didn’t need to use them. I really enjoyed the breakfast options and it was nicely presented. I had the local Balinese dishes including Mie Goreng (noodles, vegetables and fried egg), Nasi Goreng (rice, vegetables and fried egg) and banana pancakes. There are plenty of other options too and it also served with watermelon, papaya, fresh juice and tea or coffee. You just need to tell staff your order the night before either at reception or via WhatsApp. Tea, coffee and sugar were provided. I would advise buying milk from the supermarket if you would like to make a tea or coffee before your breakfast in the morning or in the evening, there is a small fridge provided in the kitchen. I asked staff for cutlery when I brought some food back to my room one evening which they delivered to the room. I also bought a bottle opener from the local market as a souvenir but I’m sure staff could have provided one if asked. When you leave for the day the staff at reception ask if you would like house keeping, I’m sure you could also message their WhatsApp number if there is no one at reception when you leave to arrange this. Reception staff were so welcoming and very helpful.

stayed here for three nights, actually i stayed here ten years ago.that time its name is umae villa, now they changed the name to wana karsa,i think different management now. the villa room is the one i stayed ten years ago, haha, nothing changed, still looks new.it is big and clean. the shower area is at the back,it is very huge.cuz it is semi opened,so you may see some insects on the floor.breakfast served in your room, you can request floating breakfast which is free of charge.i did try twice, nice experience. if you have something to do in the morning, they even can prepare your breakfast more earlier.during the stay,i tried mie goreng, nasi goreng and veggies omelette and bread, all comes with fruits platter, juice, coffee or tea. portion and taste both just right, satisfied with it. staffs helpful and polite, you have to order breakfast one day beforehand via WA, it is very convenient! you can put your luggages at their place before check in and after check out.good service. there is a rice field inside the villa area which is special, though not big one,but make it very natural here.the location of the villa is super convenient, highly recommended!

no bum gun, cant wash after toilet,so have to use more toilet paper. no hand towels,so have to use more tissue papers after washing hands. TV no local channels, only youtube can watch.

Amazing spacious villa with private pool. Great location, easy walking distance to all Ubud attractions, an oasis in the middle of the busy streets. Nice breakfast served as floating basket on request. Very nice outdoor bathroom. Comfortable stay with full privacy. Staff was amazing and very helpful responding immediately for any inquiries.

Little dark during the evening and not sufficient of lights in bathroom part. Apart from that we loved this place

The location was very central so perfect walking distance to everywhere we went. The staff were exceptional, so helpful and friendly, could not fault them. We loved our stay here. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Their was no plates, knives or utensils in our room and we wanted to prepare meals in our room. The downstairs bathroom, and kitchen also could do with a good clean as there were marks on the walls and glass.

The villa is absolutely beautiful, and the complex itself is stunning. The 12 pm checkout time is very convenient, and the spacious Balinese-style outdoor bathroom is truly impressive. The staff on the villa is very friendly and always ready to help, which added a positive touch to our stay.

However, there are several drawbacks that need improvement. There’s a noticeable lack of basic amenities—no dishes at all, and we constantly had to ask for toilet paper and napkins. Tea and coffee were not replenished, so we had to buy our own. The large shower was faulty and required significant effort to use properly. Internet access was essentially non-existent—Wi-Fi only worked at night, and 4G/LTE coverage was unavailable, likely due to the villa’s location. These all should be addressed.

The only best part of this stay is its LOCATION! It is right in the centre of UBUD city centre and you have 500 options for food, shopping ,travel, supermarket and what not. It is a good property but with a little hiccups which might not be a concern to some people. Like the lighting of the room is very dim and less,no house slippers, dirty pool and not very interactive staff. Also, the taste and quality of food is below par and I realy expected more out of it as I paid more for this property. But the jungle vibe it creates with one of the best bathrooms i have seen.Overall,Its location is a steal deal but the rest is not that amazing.

Less lighting No face towels Dirty pool No house slippers Staff not very interested and interactive Breakfast not upto the mark in terms of quality and taste

The villas are spacious and clean and the private pool is a very good size. Really amazing and helpful staff. Location is great, right in the centre of ubud with a lot of restaurants and shops nearby, but at the same time secluded as it is off the main street at the end of a small alley

It’s a great place but there are small things that could be done to make it perfect. For example, there isn’t any cutlery or crockery in the villa, even though there’s a kitchen with a cooker and fridge. There aren’t any hangers in the wardrobes either. You can ask the staff for all these things but it would be nice to have them in the room. Wifi is a bit patchy as well
