Hands down the most welcoming and heart warming hotel in Ubud. My husband and I stayed here for a few days as part of our travel in Indonesia and it set the bar very high for all other hotels. It was as though they welcomed us into their family home and looked after us very well. Service was outstanding from the moment we walked in. Eveyone greeted us everytime we came back "home". They are also knowledgeable about a lot of all the touristy and non touristy activities, which they took care of and planned. Food was also very good. Breakfast had a good selection and portions were generous. They also had afternoon snacks and tea. You have to try the jasmine green tea. I had no idea this is what real jasmin green tea tasted like. The tea was so good i managed to buy some off them as its only through their supplier. They have a menu of all the activities they can provide which was super helpful, all we had to do was put in a request and they planned and organised the rest. If you want to experience the wonderdul culture then this is the place for you, hospitality was exceptional. They have a shuttle bus thats super helpful that does does dropoff and pick up to local points. Location is also very ideal as you have many restaurants outside and the monkey forest is within 15 mins walk. To say the least, everywhere we went after coming here couldnt compare and we missed this hotel very much! We will be back! First, fantastic welcoming. We were amazed on the hospitality. Room was big, clean, all main amenties you need. The reception personal were always keen to help, organizing trips, local shuttle car, fast communication - via WhatApp, check out - shower room plus change room, also using the facilities of the property after check out. Great room service, good options to choose from the breakfast. Close by (same owner) Japanese style restaurant with discount as hotel guest, good breakfast and nice view . You have all around you ! From ....many many restaurants to ...money change, pharmacies, 24h open supermarket, massages, points of interest (Tanal Lot is ...1.5 hours away by car, money forest ...15 min, rice terasses ...1 hour)

I would say only 2 small points (one of them obviously cannot be fixed) : 1. The area is very convinent to travel around (Monkey forest, rice terrase, etc,etc) but also could be noisy - not from the rooms but outside pool or on the breakfast . Again, this is the benefits of being close to main restaurants, shops. 2. (this can be fixed/discussed) -is that every morning the hotel personal tried to be very organized, cleaning the front of the alley near pool in front of the rooms but quite noisy brushes/brooms and sometimes goggleing at 7 AM - so in 2 ocasions I was waked up by the noises. Definetely something which can be improved.

Hotel staff treated us like their family member. My son was sick during his stay and the hotel staff drove us to the nearest hospital and stayed with us for two hours while we are being medically examined. Last day we were almost scammed by a local driver with unfair taxi rate and they quickly arranged their driver to pick us up from the waterfall and drive us to canggu. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again next time we visit ubud. It will be our second home in ubud.

Cleanliness Good value for money Friendly staff

Breakfast was served in our balcony the first day, and the plates were not taken until the next day.

The location was good and breakfast was delicious. There was free shuttle service around the hotel vicinity, can be easily arranged via WhatsApp. Staff were super friendly and attentive to our needs. They never failed to give us a homely welcome every time we came back from after our activities outside. Room was very spacious, bed was extra big, with basic necessities like hair dryer and kettle. Pool was a delight, set in a beautiful and quiet surrounding. Staff would come with iced water and pool towels when they saw us chilling there. Totally enjoyed our stay there!

The bathtub did not drain well, some water pool on the floor. Our aircon was dripping water one night, but the maintenance staff resolved the issue quickly and efficiently. However we were still very happy with our stay there!

We wanted to base ourselves more centrally for a few tours we had and ended up having a wonderful stay at Sapodilla Ubud. The staff there are fantastic and really look after you well. The room was very nice and spacious, we enjoyed drinks on the balcony a few times. Can highly rate their laundry service. The pool area looked lovely though we didn’t use it. This small hotel is just tucked away from the main street, very close to restaurants and bars in both directions. They offer a free shuttle service but we chose to walk more centrally as there was so much to see. We really enjoyed the restaurant Shoga that they’re attached to as well.

We had to reconnect to the wifi a number of times which didn’t bother us, but perhaps something to consider if anyone needed to use it more reliably.

One of the best places we've stayed in Bali so far. Service was great and very thoughtful. The breakfast is quite substantial and you can choose to have it in your room on your balcony/terrace table, which was great, we did so most of the mornings, but the restaurant for the breakfast is also quite nice. We wanted something that combined the feeling of a Bali villa but with the service of a hotel and this was just that! The whole place is small so there are not many other people around that you would bump into, the pool was most of the time for ourselves. Location is also perfect, on the road where you have all the cafes, stores and nice restaurants and very central in Ubud. The bedrooms are very spacious and beautiful. You get unlimited bottled water.

Sapodilla Ubud is a charming boutique hotel nestled in the heart of Ubud. The place offered us a tranquil retreat with exceptional service. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to popular attractions such as the Monkey Forest and various local restaurants. Our room was spacious, bed was comfortable, bathroom was huge, with a private balcony overlooking the lush gardens. The breakfast was delicious with a myriad of options. The dining areas and on-sight restaurants have great food options and the interiors are beautifully done. Finally, the staff was exceptional. They were very attentive and went above and beyond to ensure that guests have a memorable stay. The hotel's peaceful ambiance, combined with its proximity to the city's main points of interest, makes it an ideal choice for travelers seeking both relaxation and exploration.

The staff of the hotel are just amazingly professional!! Especially Eka and Rianti !! Can’t thank them enough for the service they provided to us . The cleanest hotel in Ubud I believe, because we changed many hotels in Ubud , but this one everything was just clean and perfect which is rare to find in Ubud The breakfast was served at room !! And it was so perfect!! Verity of choice American style or Indonesian style Free shuttle to any place in the Ubud center and they will also pick you up from any place from Ubud center !! That was awesome and helpful

There are places and people who act nice just to get a good review, and then there are those who are genuinely kind and caring. Sapodilla Ubud definitely falls into the second category. The staff here are truly wonderful—very friendly, extremely helpful, and always making sure guests feel at home. A special mention to Eka at the reception, who went out of her way to assist us and made our stay extra comfortable. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, the breakfast is excellent, and the location is perfect. From the warm greetings to the attentive service, everything feels thoughtful and well-trained. We felt at home here and would highly recommend Sapodilla Ubud to anyone visiting Bali.
