I loved the rice paddies outside the window and porch. I liked the mosquito nettings around the bed. The sound of frogs and crickets at night. Reasonably priced dinner in restaurant. The desk helpers were always kind and patient, and tried to be helpful. It’s location just off main streets was very convenient.

I only got hot water once in three days. I didn’t complain because I thought maybe they didn’t have any, so was surprised when on my last night I suddenly had a hot shower. The next morning the water was cold again. For the price, it should have been consistent. Lots of mosquitoes in the bathroom!

We booked a private villa with a pool for 3 nights. The hotel is a complex of villas and 2 floor buildings, located in a very picteresque area, close to lots of tourist locations: Monkey forest, Elephant Cave temple, etc. The villa is a one level building with a nice view on rice terraces and jungles. Ideal place for those, looking for autonomous relax. The buggy took us every time from reception to the villa gates. The villa itself is equipped with everything needed, has a nice pool for swimming and a stony bath. The staff was very friendly and provided us with antimosquito e-device. Our rate included breakfast, a good one at the open air. Really enjoyed our stay.

Be prepared to mosquitos and other wildlife at night, noise coming from the rice terrace. For those who are fans of countryside living, it’s really charming.

This is an excellent central location and great place to slow down. Everyone was very accommodating and helpful during the 17 days I stayed. I stayed in both the garden view rooms and the rice paddy views. The location of the rice paddy rooms means you have excellent views of a wonderful Bali panorama. Loved sitting on the balcony at the end of each day - watching the day wind down - and the shifts in light as the storms move through. If you are keen on art - ask for directions to their gallery. Gorgeous staff were always considerate of my needs.

If you are looking for issues you will always find something - I was very content!

Location, views of rice fields, the animals, such as: a duck who visited, the nearby cows, the resident baby geckos, the small finches who frolicked near the pool. The quiet away from the main road, so that I can read and swim. The staff are friendly, and always greet me with a smile.

The rather inconsistent and odd hours that the ‘well-meaning’ housekeeping staff visited. I would like to be able to set a time after 10.30 am each morning.

It was very quiet and peaceful, we had the villa with a private pool, the pool was beautiful and cold. The room and bathroom was spacious and was equipped with kitchen facilities. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and made delicious cocktails. It was relatively close to restaurants and a mini mart over the road.

It was a little run down, the pool could have done with a good scrubs. The outdoor lounge room was very hot and could have used a fan to make that space more enjoyable. Lots of mozzies and other bugs so bring insect repellent.

The village was amazing. Great pools. The most beautiful views. Large outdoor space. Right in the middle of ubud. Close to the monkey forest shops, restaurants. Room size are large Most deluxe outdoor living area. All pools and outdoor areas clean and tidy.. Big outdoor bar and entertainment area with pool and rice field views.

The room had slight run down issues that needed repair. The in room menu was limited. You had to ask for your room to be cleaned. 100's of mozzie.

The spacious villa on two levels. The view of the rice paddies was beautiful..The pools were inviting and there was good access to a range of restuarants and the yoga centre Lumeria.

The gaps in the downstairs bathroom, upper side were fixed with plastic. The bath didn't invite usage as the porous stone was a bit stained...

The location is perfect, there are two pools which were both lovely. The hotel part is not great and I did have to change my room to a villa, I wouldn’t recommend that part due to the serious mold, but when moving to the villa I was more than satisfied. The villas are spacious, clean and very pleasant to stay in.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable.

Lovely style , love the traditional feeling. Easy walking distance to Ubud & restaurants. Lovely staff.

No shuttle to Ubud centre ; kitchenette needed updating and no extras provided such as crockery or cutlery … need coffee cups at least 😁 ,a bin in kitchen. & appreciated if mosquito coils added at dusk to villa - most other properties do this.
