Everything was excellent as soon as we walked in. We were greeted with a warm welcome by the friendly hotel team, and were impressed with the room - spacious, comfortable, very clean. The pool area is lovely and the rooftop terrace gives great views for sunset. Despite being on a main road, you hear almost nothing of the Ubud traffic. It’s an easy walk or motorbike into the main centre, and the included breakfast was fresh and tasty. We’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for comfort and affordable luxury in Ubud.

The property is beautiful! The staff was amazing and personalized every detail. The food was so good and far exceeded my expectations. I loved the beds and the stone tub in the room right next to the window for night baths. The rooftop terrance was surreal to watch the morning sunrise (perfect for early morning jetlag).

I wish there was seating on the upper level terraces. I didn't get the room I expected and would prefer a room with a balcony. I found the room to be dark and removed from the rest of the heart of the property, so the value for the money wasn't exactly what I would go for again. The rooms and surrounding areas should also be treated for ants.

We really enjoyed our stay in Puruna Suite Ubud. The room was extremely spacious, with a huge, comfy bed and a large bathroom. The room was clean and nicely decorated. We had a room on the floor level and loved the easy access to the pool. The staff members were really friendly and accommodating. You could order your breakfast to your room every day and it was a lovely way to start your day with breakfast on your own terrace. We tried the massages from the Spa couple times and found those really relaxing and affordable. The location was good, there was a lot of nice restaurants close by. Would really recommed staying in Purana on your next stay in Ubud! ❤️

So glad we found this place! We were made to feel welcome from the moment we got out the taxi, lovely welcome drink, cold towel & mini feet massage, then escorted to the room. The room well truly amazing so big with lovely elephant made out of towels. Robes slippers spotlessly clean, huge comfy bed, tv but we didn’t have time to put it on, safe, tea & coffee & water provided, bathroom wow, huge bath overlooking the bedroom but you can put the blind down for privacy, large shower all the toiletries & more with tooth brushes & even razors they had thought of everything. Loved the night time stories as well couldn’t wait to read them, room overlooked the pool on the ground floor big balcony with comfy chairs. You can opt to have breakfast on your balcony or in the restaurant but we chose the balcony as it was sooo peaceful. Lots to choose from the food it’s absolutely amazing, must try the Dadar Galung it’s out of this world you do have to order the night before though but that’s so it can be delivered at the exact time & perfectly cooked. We ate at the restaurant twice & the chefs are amazing the food was so tasty. The last night was valentines night so we booked a 3 course meal with Balinese dancers for our entertainment! As I was singing at the cocktail bar a short walk away from the hotel a must try by the way they have great cocktails & karaoke 🎤! The staff had me singing before the dancers came on it was great fun. They even put a rose & chocolate on our bed when we returned bless them nice touch! They have a shuttle that can drop you off in the centre as it is quite a walk away but it’s free so use it great service! It’s a lovely town lots to see & it’s a 15 minute walk to monkey forest too so not far. There are lots of bars & restaurants nearby if you want to eat out as well as ATMs & supermarket for nibbles. Loved feeding the fish in the bar area too as I love any animal.

The staff were amazing. Very welcoming and friendly. The facilities were perfect and always clean. The location was very central and had a lot of nice restaurants only walking distance away. There was a pharmacy across the street aswell which was very helpful.

Location of hotel was just on the outskirts of Ubud, but close enough to walk to shops/restaurants/attractions. We arrived at 10pm to a very warm welcome, and throughout the visit everyone was very pleasant and accommodating. Due to there being building works, which did not disturb us, the team insisted we had our breakfast at our villa, which was brought to us every morning at no extra cost. We enjoyed a great cooking class, and got to enjoy the food we made afterwards which was lovely. The staff arranged for a driver to take us on a trip for half a day to see various highlights of Bali’s surrounding sights, which only cost around £40 for the morning. The property is a beautiful haven amongst the madness of Ubud. Special thanks to Diah and Fitri who were very helpful during our stay.

One of the nicest places I have ever stayed. Small and intimate, you feel welcomed by the absolutely lovely staff from the moment you arrive. The place is perfectly clean, very well decorated, extremely comfortable. There are pleasant details everywhere. Room is very comfortable and direct access to the pool via a beautiful terrace is a treat. There was a level of care and professionalism that is very hard to find. Step out of your room for breakfast and it will be immacuately made up when you return 30 minutes later. We had a minor issue when we checked in and the team's efforts to address it was really appreciated. The location is good if you like being in the centre of Ubud (which is busy, you should note!). You are a short walk to eating options, shops, ATMs etc.

Nothing at all, though would only suggest the location if you want to be in the heart of the option.

Honestly, I enjoyed everything about this place. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and served in generous portions. When we asked for vegetarian or vegan options, they were happy to accommodate. The staff were incredibly friendly, always smiling in a way that felt genuine, not forced. They were also very helpful, sharing great tips on things to do in Bali and Ubud, as well as where and how to travel. The massage we tried was excellent, and the yoga session was both interesting and beginner-friendly—perfect for us since we’d never done it before. The pool was clean, refreshing, and a great place to relax.

I recently stayed at Purana in Ubud and unfortunately was quite unwell for part of my trip. Despite this, my experience at Purana was wonderful thanks to the incredible staff especially the manager, Fitri. She went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and well looked after.On top of that, when our flights were unexpectedly cancelled, the team didn’t hesitate to help us extend our stay for another night, making a stressful situation so much easier to handle. The warmth, flexibility, and genuine kindness of everyone at Purana really stood out. Aside from the outstanding hospitality, the hotel itself is stunning. The pool area is beautiful and peaceful, perfect for relaxing and soaking up the atmosphere. Our room was exceptionally clean, spacious, and very comfortable, which made all the difference while I was recovering. Room service was always prompt. I can’t recommend this place enough if you want to experience true Balinese hospitality. I’m already looking forward to coming back, hopefully healthy next time!
