Well priced hotel in central Ubud location. Nice breakfast. Easy walk to lots of shops and restaurants. Palace and temples in walking distance (though very hot weather when we visited!). Lovely pool area. Great bakery just outside the hotel that do a good coffee, baked goods and toasties that are well priced. Rooms were spacious. Gardens were beautiful and well maintained.

The prices at the SPA (ie. massages) were exorbitant, walk out the front door and there are many more reasonably priced Spa salons to choose from. Main road outside is very busy and chaotic.

A comforting nook in a bustling area of ubud, well placed amongst cafes with no shortage of good food. A very convenient location with less than 10 minutes walk to the monkey forest. The service and staff have been excellent from beginning to end and truly have made me feel at home. While they maybe lacking in certain expertise, they more than made up for it in attitude and friendliness. At one point our room door was broken/loose and without us prompting them, they came by to fix it during housekeeping. A place i would highly recommend for any first time bali visitors, they certainly made you feel at home and well taken care of :)

Not a huge fan of how the bathroom was constructed, there is a huge shower area that had pebbles you had to balance/stand on that made it fairly uncomfortable. Behind the property there are quite a number of establishments that like to hold either yoga sessions or parties which can break the illusion of a private paradise, the smoke from the bbq disturbed me quite a bit which resulted in my retreating indoors instead of enjoying the outdoors. I had a bit of stomach discomfort at some point i believe i did not fare well with the food served. Cooking class was fun but would have been better if they provided actual recipes for us to take home. Personally i think food hygiene can be improved along with general cleanliness.

Rama Phala is a fantastic resort where it still feels like the old world natural charm of Bali. The traditional Balinese architecture is beautiful and the location was perfect to get around. I was on a writing retreat and Rama Phala provided the ideal space for that. The staff Ayu, Agung and everyone else including the cleaning staff always welcomed me with a smile and a genuine "How are you?" greeting. After 3 weeks it started feeling like home to me.

The restaurant is spacious and well decorated situated perfectly by the pool but from my personal experience the kitchen and chef can be improved although I saw many guests using the services but I did not enjoy just this part of my stay. However there are many great restaurants within 5 minutes of walking distance so it did nor interrupt my stay too much.

Amazing place. The shower is FANTASTIC! Strong water power. You could have a shower looking at the sky. How amazing! The staffs ALWAYS smiling and ready to help you with anything. The room was super comfortable, amazing bed, good accommodations! Really recommend this place if you like to stay around restaurants and cafes. You could do many things by foot.

the unique thing we did not enjoy it was the breakfast. For the quality of this resort the breakfast is very poor. They should have better buffet with fruits, more options instead only the menu. And I have to say that the coffee is horrible. We did not enjoy the breakfast. We love lots of fruits in the morning, nice coffee and different breads.. there you must to order a la carte style.

Great breakfast, big rooms, outdoor shower, almost no mosquitoes in the room, very nice pool with poolbar, extremely (!!!) friendly staff, especially Yulia, Dewi and I forgot the other names but they were all unbelievably kind and friendly, they played with the baby so that we could eat in peace. We miss this now at our new place — thank you again.

Due to the outdoor shower or bathroom, of course there are also some mosquitoes but it was never many; the location of the resort is not ideal as it is a very busy street and always traffic jams — however, you’re also almost in the centre on Ubud. So it probably depends on what you want. The spa wasn’t as nice as I expected. It felt outdated and compared to the resort, it was lacking their luxury. The treatment was nice but you can get a treatment outside the resort for less than half the price.

Our stay at this private 2-bedroom villa was absolutely amazing! The villa was spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and offered a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. Despite being right in Ubud city center, it was incredibly quiet and peaceful, making it the ideal place to relax after a day of exploring. The private pool was a dream, and the spa services were top-notch—truly a sanctuary for rest and rejuvenation. The staff were also incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Very private, spacious room with a big smart TV and private balcony

Huge bathroom and outdoor shower but with no where to hang swimwear etc to dry - lots of wall space for towel rack or hooks - but none there, which is odd. Small thing but frustrating when on vacation.

The beautiful, friendly, welcoming staff who go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. The property is right in the centre of Ubud with many shops and restaurants close by, but once you walk down into the gorgeous peaceful tropical gardens of Rama Phala it’s like you’re in a different world. The swimming pool is awesome, the spa does exceptionally good massages and the food is good, especially the French toast at breakfast which was delicious!!

Rama Phala staff were amazing, helpful, and kind. They helped me with everything that I needed, from booking taxis to laundry services, always with a smile. The place is gorgeous and quiet although it is right in the center close to restaurants, Yoga, and the Monkey forest. The room was big, the outdoor shower was super fun (and there's also an inside bath as a bonus), and I had a private balcony. The pool is pretty and fun to swim at and has a bar stools inside the pool which I found very cool for drinking a shake or a cocktail. Overall I recommend this place to anyone staying in Ubud and looking to relax in a beautiful friendly place.

The wifi in the room was very poor, and I could only work at the restaurant (there, the wifi is great and easily holds zoom calls)

If you are looking for a quiet beautiful small Rama Phala is the place to go. The garden is so beautiful, it is like walking into a small hidden gem full of peace and and green lush. The staff is very helpful and we had the most professional service. We had our 4 month old son with us and the staff definitely made our stay the best experience we could hope for. We also got massage from Desi and Pusipat, which we definitely can highly recommend.
