I had an outstanding experience at Santana Hotel in Cairo! The hotel's location is unbeatable, situated near the majestic Nile River, and surrounded by a plethora of restaurants, cafes, and shops, making it incredibly convenient. The cleanliness and comfort of the hotel exceeded my expectations, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The staff members were not only helpful but also respectful, contributing to a positive overall stay. The breakfast buffet was a delightful highlight, offering a delicious array of choices, including a live egg station. My triple room was spacious and even featured a charming small balcony. Santana Hotel truly made my visit to Cairo memorable and enjoyable.

The electric elevator needs to be renewed

This is my second visit to Santana Hotel in Cairo, and once again, it exceeded my expectations. I will definitely choose this hotel for my next stay as well. From the moment you arrive, the staff are warm, professional, and always ready to help with anything you need. The service is consistently excellent, making the entire experience smooth and comfortable. The location is another major advantage – it's central and convenient for both business and leisure travelers. Despite being in the heart of Cairo, the hotel offers a peaceful and quiet atmosphere inside. The rooms are clean, cozy, and well-maintained, offering a truly comfortable stay. The breakfast is also worth mentioning – it’s varied, fresh, and satisfying, with plenty of options to start your day right. Overall, Santana Hotel continues to impress me with its high standards and welcoming environment. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Cairo!

They need to provide bottles of water every day

Overall a very good value for the money. The cleaning staff did a good job and were very friendly. The front desk people were also very friendly and helpful.

Their main downside was the maintenance issue. The grab bar in the tub was not properly secured. It was rusted and dangling from the wall. I tried to extricate myself from the tub but I couldn’t using this bar. The drain in the bathroom flooded many times when I drained the tub. The maintenance person cleaned it out one time but a day later the issues continued. The restaurant staff appears to be poorly trained. Overall friendly but service was not their speciality. The morning buffet is adequate for starting the day. Somedays there was a lot of food, others not so much.

The place was clean, the bathroom was squeaky clean. Breakfast is delicious and varied. The staff was very nice and cooperative, I stayed for 4 days and extended for another two. What I appreciated the most was that it was quiet for most of the time.

Even though the marketplace is a walking distance from it, there isn't much that is interesting to see close to the hotel, app taxis are cheap so this wasn't a big issue. I haven't been to many hotels so I can't tell, but I felt the room was somewhat small, but I was going for the cheap option anyway...

The location is amazing, the neighborhood is calm ( which is not usual in Cairo), the hotel is clean, safe and the food is good.

We came as a couple ( me and my wife) and they insisted then, that we have to show our marriage certificate, otherwise they won’t let us take the room !! It was very strange and unexpected and they also insisted at the check in time, that this is the Egyptian law and we can’t do anything about it, ( luckily I had a pic of it on my phone and I showed it to them). After couple of days, I asked another worker in the hotel about this and he said; he believes that the guy from at the check-in just did that to make a problem out of nowhere, then they keep pushing me until I give hem some extra money ( bribe ) to let hem help me and make the reservation, since I asked many other hotel residents and no one ever mentioned that they asked for a marriage certificate from him/her.

I liked the location. It was near restaurants, laundry & mini markets. It was also close to the hotel I left stuff at and needed to get before leaving Egypt. The value for what it is was excellent compared to places that were the same, but I paid way more. It met my expectations and what I needed for a quick last night stay in Egypt before an early morning flight. Safe for solo female travelers. Right next to a hospital, so that made me feel more safe as well. Also looks like they are making improvements and upgrading the rooms! And the construction was all done during the day, so it didn't bother me at all!

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and its location is in a nice safe neighborhood. The hotel it self is very safe. Cleaning and kitchen staff are always smiling. The hotel is not brand new however it’s extremely clean. The breakfast buffet had variants of option that can suit locals and international guests

The room doors need a bit of maintenance as it was hard to open then sometimes

Cute little hotel in a great area of Cairo, with very friendly and helpful staff who were happy to help with anything required, good selection of breakfast available, close to restaurants and Spinney’s supermarket, also a short distance to The Egyptian Museum & Cairo tower. Good clean, quiet and comfortable rooms with a fridge & good working Wifi. Hotel can store luggage if needed.

The reception staff are very helpful and the housekeeping staff are very friendly and. The buffet breakfast was well catered for, and the coffee was. Very good. Location to cafes and shops, and then I’ll river was very easy to access. The porter that I was was very professional. His name was Alan.
