Everything! This place is an absolute gem and I really wish we had more nights here. Excellent value for money. The view from our balcony was sensational and we spotted a white faced monkey, agouti and many different birds in just a few hours of being there. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the food at Bamboo was delicious. It's all about that view though.

Just be aware that the road up to the hotel is a gravel track, quite steep in places. The final bit is the driveway which is concrete but super steep so be ready for it. Our two wheel drive rental managed it OK but there was a bit of wheel spin. Worth it when you get there though.

the view were amazing, the pool was very nice, the gardens beautifully done. the food was excellent (except the beans and rice). in the morning and night we could hear the animals in the jungle.

The road is a steep hill not well maintained. we eventually could drive it but the car got hit underneath by the rocks. This is a couples hotel so my 25 year old daughter was bored. there were not many activities around except for the beaches. we did not see any wildlife except for iguanas.

The property was beautiful. A small, intimate property where we got to watch monkeys in the palm trees and the ocean from our bed. It was wonderful. The food was great - the restaurant served a great selection and breakfast was perfect. Eddie was a star on reception and in the restaurant. It couldn’t have been better.

Useful location breaking up the drive from Quepos to Osa. Hilltop location with wonderful sunset views. Great pool. Shares location with The Bamboo Room, which had lively entertainment the night we were there.

Very noisy cicadas made it hard to sleep by the pool :)

She went above and beyond helping us as we stayed in South Pacific for 2 weeks even when we were not staying at Alma de Ojochal at that time. Allan and Magaly and other staff were very friendly and helped us truly feel the Pura Vida.

Extremely beautiful setting and well maintained hotel. Amazing sea views from whole property. Pristine room with extremely spacious balcony.

Breakfast was not very substantial and only offered one cup of coffee

off season so restaurant closed and room not entirely equipped(coffee and fridge and bathroom) but minor things and overall lovely, lots of birds after the rain

This hotel is beautiful. It is situated in a quiet spot tucked away in the jungle. Our room e really was clean and comfortable and the service at the hotel was top notch. We did our activities in the mornings and relaxed near the pool room n the late afternoons. They have a good restaurant as well. The owners provide live music on Saturdays and Mondays. We really enjoyed their shows. We saw parrots and even a toucan while eating breakfast. That was very cool!

I only gave a 9/10 for location, because you have to drive about 2 kilometres on a bumpy gravel road to get there. still, too be honest, it was well worth the effort.

Breakfast was delicious, view from our upper balcony room was spectacular. We saw monkeys and birds!

Beautiful property; exceptional views from private balcony. Bedrooms are quite small but very comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast; the staff were very nice. Beautiful pool. wish we could have stayed for the live music.

Steep drive up the mountain- you need a 4wd. Can’t walk to anything from the hotel.
