The property was very clean which is extremely important to me. It was not a luxury property but was very nice and simple. The kitchen was perfect to make breakfast in the morning and the pool right outside our door was convenient. The property is walkable to the beach and all the outfits offering different excursions. Also, they had nice very firm beds which I’m a fan of.

Wasn’t a fan of having to unlock and open gate and then close and lock gate every time we left with our car. Not a huge deal though. Also, hut tub is not a hot tub as the hot water is not hooked up to it. I didn’t care, but my teenage niece was looking forward to it.

Everything apart from the view from our balcony. The pool was heavenly, clean and just the right temperature. Lovely seating g area in the shade and a jacuzzi.The lady on duty was very helpful and the place was well maintained. The property was 10 minutes walk from the entrance to the national park and a few restaurants.

There were three apartments available when I booked and we were given the one overlooking the car park and the street while one at least overlooking the pool was empty . Couldn’t understand the logic. Also dogs were barking a lot opposite which we would have heard less in a different apartment.

The room was spacious and beautiful with a full kitchen, and all the kitchen utensils and dishes you could want. The bed was very comfortable. We loved the walk in shower! The pool was a good size, and the "hot tub" was not hot and in the shade, which is great for this climate. Only a few places to eat near the beach, but they are all great. The town by the main road has even more, plus banks and more shopping.

It was a 15 minute walk to the beach. There is a similar hotel closer to the beach, but it was very full and a bit noisy and more expensive, so glad we stayed at Uvita Paradise.

Loved the place! Located 10mins walk from one of the most spectacular beaches in the world, this hotel is the perfect place to stay. Plenty of restaurants within a 5-10mins walk and more within a 10mins driver. A fabulous swimming pool, lots of loungers, and a small number of rooms make for a personal/boutique setting. Clean and well designed rooms made this a comfortable place to stay that we regretted leaving! The staff are friendly and very effective.

Some birds woke us up a couple of times at dawn buy if you want a nature based setting, enjoy it!

The room was extremely clean & Modern with all the facilities required to make breakfast & coffee. Large & comfy bed, great sized shower and bathroom. The pool area was incredible, you have a large pool and smaller hot tub style pool for chilling, both were amazing. Loads of sun beds and sofa/chill areas. Loads of beautiful plants and nature on the ground of the property. This was our favourite place to stay in Costa Rica!!

Loved the garden and outside space which had many seating areas and options including couches in a covered porch, large pool with small cold pool, beds were large and extremely comfortable, location to park and restaurants was great, locked gate provided peace of mind, the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a great stay of 3 nights.

Small things such as some of the finishing let down the standard of property, you need to put felt pads on the chairs to prevent the loud scraping sound, we could have used utility food stuff such as sugar, oil etc.

We stayed here for four nights, in mid-March, and everything about this property and our stay, exceeded expectations. (This was my fifth time in Costa Rica and this was the nicest property I have ever stayed in.) We intentionally headed further south than previous visits, seeking a quieter, less-frequented village. We also wanted to explore Playa Ballena, which ended up being a 10 minute walk away from Uvita Paradise. When we arrived, we were personally greeted by the manager, Casey, who provided us with a tour of our apartment and the amenities. (There is secure parking, as the property is behind a large gate.) She answered every one of our questions, was easily accessible via whatsapp (after hours) and, along with the housekeepers (who did our laundry for free!!) made us feel like we were staying in a boutique hotel. The property is stunning! Pictures don't do it justice. It really is "Paradise". We stayed in one of the bottom floor apartments, with our two children. It was big enough for all four of us and the king-sized bed was, by far, the most comfortable bed we slept in during our weeks-long adventure in Costa Rica. The kitchen had everything we needed to self-cater, but there were several restaurants just a walk away, that we frequented daily. (We highly recommend Que Tuanis Cafe!) We enjoyed the pool and outdoor spaces, accessible all day and into the evening. There were other guests staying there, but there was plenty of space. The kids also enjoyed the playground, just two minutes away (walking). We met kind locals and felt like we were living "pura vida" in every way. If you are looking for a piece of paradise, with easy access to the nearby - gorgeous - beaches, we highly recommend Uvita Paradise. We will absolutely return!

Super clean and the air conditioning was an absolute joy in our room! Nice pool and calm environment, located a 10-15 minute walk from the beach and some nice cafes/restaurants close by. A nice chilled out couple of days after lots of nature walks at our previous destination.

A long walk to some restaurants that are well rated. Uvita seems to be very spread out and a car would have been beneficial as we did do a long walk one evening along the busy road to a great pizza place.

Location was good for beach and local restaurants. It was beautiful and well maintained property. The staff we encountered were friendly.

I did not like wearing an orange band to show I was a guest (felt like I was at an all-inclusive). We only saw a few other guests so I’m sure you could figure out a better way. Also, when we reached out for help with tours it was not provided (even though welcome email said let us help you).

Really lovely place. Clean and well appointed. Very secure parking. We didn't honestly use the facilities as we were out and about each day of our stay. The pool area is nice but probably was an over indulgence and not required based on how we actually used the hotel. Balcony was beautiful place to have breakfast. Genuinely great place. My pool comment is only about our needs rather than a judgement on it's quality!
