Beautiful location and views, pool area was lovely, and the bar was great! Food was really good and cocktails were delicious. Lots of nature all around

Rooms were a little tired and maybe need a deep clean, once the curtains are shut in the evening it all feels very brown! The long bumpy drive up to the hotel puts you off going out anywhere!

The staff was wonderful. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Andrea is a terrific bartender and a lovely person. Jose, one of the grounds keepers showed us some interesting animals.

I would like to see all eco-properties install Toto Washlets. They are super hygienic and save tons of paper.

Too isolated for our taste, as there are not many in-site activities. Good for honeymooners and couples in general. Access to the seashore requires a 4x4 car; the hotel offers a payable taxi service, no shuttle.

The whole place is absolutely stunning. Set in the jungle, this secluded lodge feels like paradise. It doesn't try too hard and showcases the natural beauty and wildlife. You can walk through the jungle to the waterfalls and we did a night tour in the jungle around the hotel. It was one of the best tours we did and far better that the night tour we paid for somewhere else. The staff are incredibly helpful, but never in your face or too much. We went on a rather rough boat ride and I cricked my neck. Even though the spa was full, the team found a secluded place where a therapist could work on my neck and it was brilliant. The food is excellent and the drinks are great too. It's a very relaxing place and because it's small, there is a very friendly atmosphere among guests. We visited on our honeymoon and couldn't have wished for a better stay. I would return in a heartbeat.

I liked everything! The road up to the hotel is unmade, very steep and very potholled. They are not joking when they say you would need a 4 wheel drive to get here. We managed it fine, it was just very bumpy!

Amazing facilities with a proper jungle feel. Beautiful view from the infinity pool, conveniently located next to the bar. Staff were allover amazing and super accommodating and attentive. The restaurant is really nice, with high quality food and a nice variety. The bar offers a lot of selections, and premium spirits as well.

Not much could have been better, but a few small suggestions. In addition to the bathrobes, it would be nice to have slippers provided in the room. The toilet in the Mountain View Villa is really on the small end. Restaurant is a bit pricey, but that was kind of expected with this kind of location/standard/level of service.

The experience was excellent! The somewhat remote location was beautiful, and the staff could not have been nicer. We had breakfast and dinner, as well as cocktails, and here again, service was outstanding and food and drinks excellent. We did a massage service by the river, which was extremely relaxing. The hotel is very close to several waterfalls, which we visited. Pool was beautiful, and the soaking tub for our room was located outdoors, but secluded from view. A fantastic experience.

The room lacked an iron, and some of clothes were wrinkled from traveling-having an iron in the room would have been nice, but certainly not a big issue. And I would imagine, that the staff would have provided one or even offered to iron my clothes had I asked.

First of all, the staff was absolutely incredible. My girlfriend and I still miss Omar and Jason amongst the other staff! Everyone was so accommodating and welcoming. We didn't want to leave :( We would absolutely go back and stay here again and hope to do so soon.

Overall everything was excellent. The only thing I could think of is that I was the bathroom was larger.

Our stay was faultless. The staff were always available, friendly and professional as well as very knowledgable. The entire hotel, the rooms and the grounds were stunning, there is even a trail you can follow to spot wildlife. The restaurant and bar were brilliant, with exceptional food.

It was a perfect stay so there are no complaints. Given we went on the shoulder month, a hot tub would have been a bonus but the pool was an enjoyable temperature.

One of the most unique hotels I’ve ever had the luxury of visiting. The jungle is magical. The facilities are second to none, but it’s really the staff that makes it special. Marco, for example, gave a great port tonging/wine opening show, then etched the bottle for us to have a souvenir. The rest of the staff was equally as accommodating.

We love here in Costa Rica and have had the chance to experience many properties. This immediately became one of our favorite of all! The facilities and villa were all high end and delivered the most romantic time! Thanks as well to the excellent service from all the staff, but in particular, Omar and Beatrice who made us feel special every moment of our stay!

That we had to leave lol
