Beautiful, peaceful getaway – with one small hiccup Goblin Creek is a beautiful place, thoughtfully designed with care and attention to detail. Each room is well laid out and equipped with everything you need. Everything was clean and neat, making it a very comfortable stay. The bed and mattress were of excellent quality, which made for a great night’s sleep (aside from the noise from next door). The private hot tub right outside our room was a real treat and added something special to the experience. The only downside was that the guests in the room next to us were noisy throughout the night and only went to bed around 6am, which disturbed the peace. That said, this was no fault of Goblin Creek itself. Other than that, we had a lovely experience and would definitely recommend it for a peaceful escape.

This is the perfect spot for a trip of relaxation. Peaceful and have a good feeling of Nature. Definitely worth the money and even for a guesthouse, sometimes we felt alone. I think I'm the only one that used the pool whole weekend. I love the love they have for animals and quite surprised that the owners have pet Mongoose. Great spot again for nature lovers

Although the hottub was great, it takes a while and alot of wood to warm up. Our valve to add water to the hottub was not working so didn't really feel full. Not the owners fault however the roadworks happening also puts you off from driving and exploring as it is a 24 hour own way with 10 minute wait times. Again not the owners fault but if you Muslim, please bring your own food as no good halaal places.

We absolutely loved our stay. Wish it could have been longer as we were only there for one night. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome and at home! The property is beautiful and the rooms are so unique, which is exactly why I chose to stay there. Such amazing attention to detail in the rooms and they provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. The outdoor shower and the baths in the rooms are awesome! The tortoises and owls on the property are so great to see. Everyone is so friendly and kind and we loved every minute of our stay. Very quick walk to the beach and great restaurants close by. Thank you to everyone, we would love to return one day and we highly recommend Goblin’s Creek.

Everything was perfect!

The setting was lovely and the room with its own wood fired exterior hot tub, was very comfortable. There was a communal kitchen with a kettle and cooking facilities if you needed them. There was a braai or bbq area and a swimming pool. The owners and staff were all very helpful.

The main issue was the roadworks, with a 24 hour one way system. There was always a wait of at least 10 minutes to leave the road the property is in, and this was sometimes a lot longer. Going out in a car, and getting back was always a schlep. Once the roadworks are gone this will be a delightful place to stay

the room was very good value for money, with the bathtub and the treehouse were highlights! the braai area was also good but having to buy our own wood (or charcoal) was a small inconvenience... nothing serious but for a small amount of extra cost, providing these would have made it to 9-10 stars... certain furnishings in the room look a bit dated, and perhaps was in the process of being renovated but generally the place is very good and I'll definitely stay again and recommend to friends

We really enjoyed our stay - the bedroom was beautiful and clean, and the bed was so comfy. The hot tub was a really lovely addition to our stay. The hosts/staff were all very friendly and helpful. We loved the quirky, homely feel of the living area. All in all, we would definitely recommend this place to our friends/family. Thank you for the hospitality!

If we had to leave a comment re what could have been better, I would say that perhaps the braai room could have been a bit nicer - there didn't seem to be good lighting (but that could have been because of loadshedding), and it could have been a bit cleaner. Also, the breakfast bar was quite limited, I had expected a bit more variety, such as maybe some fresh fruit.

We had a lovely stay at Goblins's Creek! It absolutely exceeded my expectations. It has the best value for money of any place we've stayed. Such friendly staff, beautiful and well kitted kitchen and living room with a lovely ambiance. The rooms are luxury!! They spared no effort in making it the perfect stay. What I loved: a large tree house in the front yard kitted with mattress and pillows for reading and relaxing. It is an oasis for animals, with a buck, owl, tortoises and lots of birds coming to visit. There is a lovely beach about 200m away, great for afternoon strolls or a swim. It is located at the end of a cul de sac, making it a nice quite breakaway without any traffic noises. I also enjoyed having our own outdoor space and a lovely outdoor shower. I would recommend it to everyone!

Brett and Rosi were excellent hosts. They welcomed us with open arms and were so attentive. Their only rule of making yourself at home is spot on... we felt at home from the moment we arrived. Our accommodation was fabulous and we were able to immerse ourselves in the beautiful setting. We loved the hot tub and day bed, as well as the beautiful garden, array of birds and swimming pool. We'll definitely go back for a longer stay soon!

The room was spacious, and the bed was very comfy and large. Beautifully decorated interior of room and entire guest house. Loved my bath and outside shower. Lots of extra touches are added. A special place to relax and location is close to the beach

I liked everything. It would be nice to have a kettle in the room. Although there is a coffee machine, I do like my tea and didn't always want to go to the communal kitchen.( which is lovely and well equipped)

The cover picture on the app doesn't do it justice! A beautiful place. Large Comfortable house. Comfortable , romantic four poster bed( if you need that😄) Loved the 'outside' shower! And soaking in the claw bath. Breakfast was great. The hosts were awesome.

Pity there's a house blocking part of the view of the ocean,but nothing can be done. Except there is a lovely treehouse to have a sundowner and get a better view of the sea.
