Very nice place in a lovely rural sourrounding Close to Palma and also not far to hiking trails. Clean and well equipped (fridge in the room would have been great). Staff and owner are very nice and supportive. Also the breakfast was amazing including variations every day and vegan options. The room was spacious and Clean. All good ☺️👍🏼 Own blankets per Person in the bed would be great instead of a big shared blanket

Very nice location and big wonderful pool with lots of sunbeds. Quiet area, you only hear the sheep. We booked the tower suite, it was spacious and we loved the newly renovated bathroom as well as the air condition. There is also a storage room for bikes with al neccessary tools. We booked the (external) laundry service and everything was perfectly organized by hotel staff. We will definitely return!

Cleaning could be a little improved, we had some very dusty corners in our room, also some spiderwebs. The sunbeds could use daily cleaning too. Breakfast with more veggie/healthy options would be nice.

The staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was very quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool area with lots of very comfortable sun loungers. It was quite quiet when we were there and it was lovely to have the pool so close to our room. Javier could not have been more helpful, he is very passionate about the horn and the island. He gave us helpful recommendations for places to eat etc… Central location is good to visit all around the island, but I would say that you need a car!

The exact type of property I wanted to stay in - away from the hustle and bustle but with the choice of going in to the centre if we wanted ! Really made my Birthday special and one to remember. The staff couldn’t have done any more for us and were SO accommodating.

As it states it’s very much out of the way and of course then had a fair amount of taxis to cover but that’s what we wanted so didn’t dislike. Only poses a problem when you don’t fancy getting dressed up and want to have a chilled night - food elsewhere is limited.

The location is perfect for those people wanting some peace and quiet! We loved chilling by the pool and the jacuzzi. Perfect way to recharge and rest. The staff was also super helpful and responsive!

There was not so much appliances in the room such as fridge, coffee maker, microwave etc. and we know this upon booking so no issue. It will just be more comfortable if we have these.

This is a beautiful place with an air of peace and luxury. The staff are exceptionally pleasant, helpful, and professional. The breakfasts are excellent and the restaurant is also a great choice for evening meals. The grounds are lovely and the small pool is ample for the small number of guests and the pool area a very comfortable place to spend a few hours soaking up the sun or reading a book in peace. The village of Sa Cabaneta, and its near neighbour Portol, have fairly limited options for evening meals and other entertainment but you wouldn't need a car if you're happy to stay by the pool or use the spa facilities and you don't mind a 15-minute walk to the village for a meal on those evenings when the hotel restaurant is closed. We hired a car for four days (we stayed for six) and feel we would have felt a bit stranded without it. The hotel makes an excellent base for exploring the beautiful western half of the island, with its gorgeous mountain villages and quiet resorts. And it's a fairly easy drive (20 minutes) into Palma if you want a few bright lights. The couple of trips we made into Palma by taxi cost around 25 euros (in April 2022). On both of those occasions, taxi drivers struggled to find the property, which is a little off the beaten track. The key, we found, was to nail the name of the village, which is SA CABANETA. This didn't appear in any of our booking literature. The wider district of Marraxti is too large to pinpoint and the property name (S'hort de Son Caulelles) means nothing to anyone who isn't from the village, although the property type (Agroturisme - old farms and vineyards converted into leisure properties) might ring a bell. In short, we'd go back in a heartbeat and we'd heartily recommend it.

We stayed in the grandest of the rooms, the Torre Real, which is used on all the property's branding. It's a duplex type with a good-sized upstairs bedroom with an enormous bed, but the space downstairs is a little wasted (there's a sofa and a desk and a wardrobe but we only used the space for getting dressed) and the bathroom is a little tired. If the downstairs area was remodelled and the bathroom upgraded, it would be excellent.

Food in the evening could have been better. First night was a tapas night at different which was just bread with toppings. Dinner at hotel itself was nothing special.

The staff was always friendly & helpful. Location was ideal, nice and quiet. Perfect for a short getaway. Also easily accessible with access to the main roads. Food was delicious and in good portions especially for a good price.

Everything was perfect. What is not explicitly mentioned, but can be deduced given the location, is the fact that as you’re in a rural setting, there’s a lot of animals in the neighborhood. They do tend to get up and make some noise quite early.

We really enjoyed the location and the spacious room. We were also warmly welcomed and received a small tour as well as a coffee.

The selection at the breakfast buffet was pretty limited and dishes were pretty dirty unfortunately.

Such a great find for a few days. Peaceful and easy to tour around as out of the business of Palma. Beautiful rooms, great restaurant amd excellent breakfast. We had a massage and used the pool. Staff were so helpful and lovely.
