Very good location, you can get everywhere on foot. Close to the city centre and to bus station (important if you’re going to visit other cities using public transport). Breakfast are basic, but good. Just roll, ham, cheese, some yogurt. No vegetables at all, but lots of sweet buns. If you like sweet breakfast, you’ll be happy.

The only minus was lack of electric kettle in the room. So if you need some hot water for instant soup or tea - you need to buy it in the bar. It was quite inconvenient.

Close to center of Palma, close to supermarket, close to Cooltra rental scouters.

They did not have a fridge in the room.

I liked that this hotel had a garage,a restaurant and that the evening/night front desk employees were super helpful and plaisant. Another plus is that a very central bus station is only 10 minutes of walk.

I appreciated my stay at this hotel but if there was one thing, is that even though the room was very clean, it didn't had face cloths and not a lot of towels (of course you could ask the front desk) but what was available in the room was very basic, very minimal and the garage was very very small so getting in and out of there was very challenging especially if you have an SUV or bigger car.

The hotel is located out of the touristic area, but the neighborhood is safe and easy to reach the mais touristic attractions by car. The hotel seems to be a renewed 2 star hotel, with a nice staff smiling and helpful. Its familiar, decent, clean and air conditioning works perfectly. We really liked the breakfast - it's fairly priced (EUR7,50/day/person) - a tremendous convenience.

The room is small, decoration is inexistent, furniture is very simple, showering area is tiny as well as the bed (quite undersized). We were there in the high season, and parking was a little bit complicated, sometimes we need to park a little bit away of the hotel.

Abelay was a good value option within reasonable walking distance of all the main attractions in Palma and the Plaça de Espanya transport hub. I didn’t need a taxi the whole time I was there. The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped and even had a fairly large balcony as an added bonus. On top of that, all of the staff I met were very friendly and helpful - and happy to speak to me in English on the odd occasion when I couldn’t remember (or just didn’t know) the right words in Spanish.

The one minor issue I had was with the noise from either the corridor or the other rooms in the morning. It didn’t disturb me too much and I wouldn’t let it stop me from booking here again… but I think I would bring ear plugs next time.

I liked the staff the most.

I didn't like the fact that if you wake up at 5 or 6 in the morning, there's nowhere to get coffee until 7. Also, the cleaning ladies are very good and kind, dedicated to their work, but it's clear that the owner doesn't want to invest in buying new mattresses. When I accidentally moved the sheet, I saw a very dirty mattress, and on top of that, there are bedbugs that bit me every night. But considering that this accommodation is cheaper than others, maybe I should have expected something like that. My mistake.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and appeared to have been very recently renovated. The beds were comfortable and the air-conditioning was effective. As we were at the front of the property, we had a lovely little balcony with two chairs. We found the area to be very quiet. The small restaurant bar in the hotel was very good value. Breakfast was also very good value and good selection. Location worked really well for us as it was near the train station for the train to Soller.

As some other reviews have mentioned the walls in the property are very thin so in the morning there was quite a lot of noise from adjacent rooms and the corridors. But thankfully at night it was all very quiet.

The place is spotlessly clean and the staff is very friendly.Our bedroom was simple, but equipped with everything you need for your stay. It is close to bus/train station, but not so close the city center. You have to walk 25/40 minutes to go to the Cathedral depending on your pace

Rooms are not equipped with a fridge and this is fine because it is clearly stated. But they don't give you the possibility of keeping something in the hotel refrigerator (which they have for sure since they serve breakfast). I think this should be revised, this was the first hotel in my long traveller life that an hotel - no matter how small - refused to store something (obviously something small) for me, hence the rating, which could have been higher."

Nice hotel in good location! Also the restaurant was good. Rooms were fresh and air conditioning worked well. We got great local tips for restaurants and tapas bars from the reception. Playroom for kids was good too!

The parking lot we reserved was like 3 blocks away from hotel, so not that convenient when travelling with kids :/ the checking in took ages for some reason and the waiting time was quite uncomfortable.

For a 2 star hotel, it was excellent. Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfast. It has a small but decent gymnasium, though not used by us. Also an astroturfed outside area with sun loungers and umbrellas, which we used once. Restaurant and bar immediately next door had a limited menu and a very reasonably priced menu of the day. Took about 10 minutes to walk to the Placa Espanya and bus/train station.

Pillows were a bit uncomfortable, but that is subjective, might be fine for other guests. Not many restaurants in immediate area, which is mainly residential, so quiet.
