HM Balanguera is a beautifully designed boutique hotel with a warm and artistic atmosphere. The Mediterranean-inspired interiors are elegant and full of character, creating a peaceful and inviting space. My room was clean, stylish, and very comfortable, with lovely natural light and thoughtful details. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, always making sure I had everything I needed. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, served in a cozy and calm setting. The hotel is located in a quiet area, yet still within walking distance to the center of Palma. A perfect place to relax and enjoy authentic Mallorcan charm.

The property is modern and exceptionally clean- a good 15 minute walk to the old town and about the same to the vibrant restaurants in Santa Catalina. The pool isn’t as big as it looks in the photos but was perfect for cooling down in exceptional heat (high 30’s). The staff were very helpful - we didn’t have the breakfasts but they looked quite basic for a 14€ pp price tag.

Rooms were quite small and limited for storage of clothes. Only a very narrow wardrobe and no drawers. Our room had an enclosed shower and toilet and the sink was in the room. That worked well.

Breakfast was decent, very simple, could be more local. The room was beautiful, the terrace with the pool outstanding, and the whole aesthetics... amazing. I could spend all day in the common areas, corridors, stairs, etc.

I feel like in every hotel I've stayed in Mallorca or Spain in general, the breakfast could be improved. Same here - overall it's decent, but needs variety, and it would be nice if it were more local, especially since Spain has one of the most amazing cuisines you can experience, and the variety is out of this world - yet here I didn't feel it.

The property has a lovely chilled out terrace with a pool on the rooftop which was great to enjoy in the day. The room we stayed in was huge with a private terrace, the shower was good and the bed was big and spacious. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The decor is nice and the hotel has a great vibe. There’s a bus stop nearby if you wanted to use public transport into the Palma old town, or it’s a 15/20 minute walk.

Nothing, it was a lovely stay for our friends wedding in the Mallorcan mountains.

- Beautiful, super clean and comfortable. - Excellent location that is slightly outside the centre but within about 20mins walk to the centre - No single-use plastic in the room and I didn't see any at breakfast nor anywhere else in the hotel, which is excellent. - Room I had (307) was quiet. Can't remember if rooms are soundproofed but l didn't hear anything during my stay. - Perfect for those who like to walk everywhere. I felt comfortable walking back to the hotel late at night too. - Friendly and helpful staff - Good breakfast - Kettle available on request - Good choice of supermarkets nearby - The bus stop for the airport is only about 5mins walk and the cost at the time I was there was about €5

The hotel was well designed, aesthetically very pleasing, and located in a quiet neighbourhood that was within easy walking distance to supermarkets, stores and the city center. The staff were friendly and attentive!

The room door wasn't great at keeping out the sounds from the common corridor - of people talking, of other doors closing, and of the cleaner vacuuming outside. The two wooden window panels did not close and fasten properly, leaving a gap through which the morning sun shone in and directly on my face - this was easily solved by sleeping in the opposite direction, but that meant that my head was directly below the wall-mounted TV set. This was in room 110.

Stayed here as a couple and we were so happy with the HM Balanguera! The hotel has a lovely vibe and the staff were incredible. The room was airy and comfortable and the facilities were great - the rooftop was a great addition and was ideal for a few hours sunbathing. The pool was cold and small but was really nice for a dip to cool off after a hot day. For the price I think the hotel is fantastic. Breakfast was really tasty and there was a good selection. Location worked for us as we like the walk. It was still only around 15 mins to the front, the old town or Santa Catalina.

The street was quite noisy in the morning. And it didn’t bother us but it is quite far out if you don’t like walking.

The atmosphere and decoration of the place were really nice. We liked the bed and the way the bedroom was designed.

We stayed for 2 nights and realized after the first night that the TV had a built-in camera, which felt very weird and offsetting. It felt like you could be watched at any time so we had to cover it up. An AC was also definitely missing as the heat could be felt in the room. For the amount of money we spent, I think breakfast could’ve been included as well.

Beautifully presented, light and airy. Smelt amazing and the facilities where just what we expected. Roof terrace is perfect for those who prefer city breaks but still want to sunbathe/ chill by the pool. The staff were incredibly helpful booking taxis for us and even tracking down my partners phone after he left it in a taxi.

Location is in quite out of the centre but there was a free bus that took us to the port and taxis only cost about 8€.

I appreciated Natalia’s help at the front desk. I was solo traveling my last night of the trip and she was very helpful to my friend who was looking to ship something back to her home before she caught her flight. I appreciate her helping my friend even though she was not a guest at the hotel. I love the interiors of the hotel and it was very clean.
