Location was great and very upmarket feel. The rooftop bar was fabulous. Cafe for breakfast and supper was good. Friendly, welcoming staff.

It was very noisy in the outside pool area; there were nearby roadworks outside every day from 10.30-4pm which meant I couldn’t relax in the pool or on the balcony, or even in the room during the day which was disappointing. This meant it felt expensive because I didn’t use the hotel for what I thought I would; pool and spa.

The hotel is really lovely and the location is excellent for exploring Palma. The room was well equipped and the bathroom was nice and clean, Rituals toiletries which was really nice and the shower was amazing. We didn't eat so can't rate the food and it was winter when we went so didn't explore the pool although our room overlooked the pool and it looked clean and well kept. One evening it was raining and so the reception staff leant is an umbrella which was good, they were very helpful. My only small gripe was that our room smelled of stale smoke. I am quite sensitive to this and it did affect my sleep on the first night, I did mention it to the reception and he said it is not smoking and whilst sometimes people might ignore this and smoke on their balconies there is nothing he could do and advised me to have the balcony door open. We did have it open for thr rest of our stay and whilst the smell wasn't so strong, I did have a scratchy throat but that is perhaps my own sensitivity to cigarette smoke in fabrics etc. It didn't ruin my stay as I really didn't want to spend any time complaining or insisting on room changes because we didn't have long there and I didn't want to take away from our enjoyment but it was a little inconvenient hence my slightly lower score. I would however recommend this hotel and I would stay here again. Also, the city of Palma is amazing, I love it! If you're reading this review a while before you visit, I recommend booking el camino if you want to go there well in advance as we didn't get in, although we walked into it's sister restaurant el caminito which was beautiful and the food was delicious. Also, I highly recommend Kaizen (which I did book I'm advance and we did get in).

Everything about this hotel was exceptional.

Rudeness of one of its staff members. While we were on day 7 of our vacation, one staff member rudely and shaking his finger at us, stated we were not allowed to drink anything outside our room except what was purchased in the hotel including water. We sat for several hours, no one ever offered drinks. We experienced many visitors openly drinking alcohol, water, and other drinks continually but we never saw anyone tell they couldn't. Didn't have any issue with the policy, just how it was handled in such a rude and demeaning manner.

The location was great. Hotel is modern and the suite was great, very comfortable with a little balcony which we loved. Beds were comfortable and the bedroom was quiet at night. The bathroom was very nice with great shower. The staff were brilliant, welcoming and efficient. They even gave us champagne & chocolates which was a lovely surprise, as it was one of our party’s birthday.

Would have been nice to have more vegetarian options in the restaurants but we did like Bar 1962. The food was very nice and service was good. Would have liked more coffee in the room. Breakfast could have more hot food and vegetarian options.

A lovely welcome from Heidi at reception . I had a beautiful spotless room with a fabulous roof top view of the cathedral . ( 527 deluxe double ) Air conditioning thoughtfully on when I arrived as Palma is very hot at the moment . A gorgeous, varied breakfast buffet . Quick lifts , large comfy beds with such soft pillows! Great satellite tv . A good selection of room service options in addition to two restaurants . I had a delicious Caesar salad one evening that arrived promptly . Very central location . I would absolutely stay here again and wholeheartedly recommend it . Thank you to all the wonderful staff ❤️

Absolutely nothing - it’s one of the best hotels I have stayed in .

We had a fantastic few days staying at the Saratoga. The staff were lovely and made us so welcome. The rooms are attractive and the beds were very comfortable. The rooftop bar has incredible views of the cathedral on oneside and the port, castle and surrounding area on the other. Great location too. As our flight home was in the evening, we were able to store our luggage at reception and were able to book a complimentary room with two showers for half an hour later in the afternoon, which meant that we could still use the hotel pool and freshen up afterwards.

Nothing!

The location is great (close to city Center and all restaurants and shops). The staff was really nice and accommodating, they helped us to change rooms and upgraded us for one night to a superior room for free.

The rooms are not well maintained, the bathroom in the deluxe room was much more degrated than the comfort room. The comfort room has only a small window but at least cancels the outside noise (which was very loud, construction works ongoing) compared to the deluxe room that has a balcony with a sliding door that doesn’t help in cancelling outside noise. The only difference between comfort and deluxe room is the balcony (the deluxe room even seemed smaller).

Had breakfast on one morning. Good choice and everything fresh. Location of hotel is excellent.

The view from our room. Booked and paid for a Deluxe room with a premium view. These rooms are on the higher floors. Our room was at the back of the hotel and overlooked the back of a rather rundown block of flats, a ruin and a multi storey car park. A small space between the buildings where we could see the sea and we could see the very top of the cathedral. But certainly not a “premium” view. Hotel was fully booked so no chance to change rooms.

Staff were most helpful. Location is central.

I feel the room lack things that could easily improve your stay. We booked a suite but the only socket close to a mirror for drying hair is in the bathroom. Making it very uncomfortable due to temperature and humidity in the bathroom after showering also makes it difficult to allow my partner to shower whilst I was drying hair - also not the safest location due to proximity to sink and taps . This could easily be rectified by putting another mirror next to a socket.

Perfectly located within walking distance of the port, high-end shops, and charming little squares filled with great places to eat. The hotel itself felt very grand and made a great first impression on arrival. My room was gorgeous, with lovely Rituals toiletries and a cute little balcony – a perfect spot to unwind. You can easily walk to the cathedral from here, making it a great base for exploring the area. And if you're on the hunt for a delicious breakfast or snack, Mise en Place is just around the corner – they serve the best croissants and coffee!
