Loved this hotel - staff were fantastic and so helpful, the hotel itself is charming and felt very traditional. Breakfast was really lovely, a great selection of food and eggs cooked to order. Pool was a lovely spot to either sunbathe or just cool off after a day exploring. Our room was fantastic, we booked the junior suite and had our own private sun terrace. The room was so lovely - not a "could be anywhere" type room, but a traditional, beautiful Mallorcan style. It was light and airy, and the air con kept it cool. The bed was amazingly comfy, and both showers were great. Location couldn't be better - right in the heart of old town with some excellent bars and restaurants a few minutes walk away. There was a little book in the breakfast room called something like "Strolling around palma" which has a couple of really lovely walks in it, easy to follow with really interesting information.

Would have been fab to have a small bar to get drinks.

Central location off a quiet side street that gave us Palma at our doorstep without traffic or crowd noise. Room 7 is the lower lever of the annex building at the back street entrance. Big room, long narrow bathroom with two sinks and a luxurious shower. Pool and outdoor lounge area were right outside. Main building access is 20 meters away then down 20+/- steps to dining room plus 10 to main lobby desk and main entrance. No elevator. Staff is super friendly and all are fluent English speakers. Excellent breakfast custom eggs made to order plus abundant buffet. Room had plenty of electrical outlets. Solid wifi signal. Good cell signal too. Above our room was the large apartment with private patio which we will choose next visit.

comfy bed but I would love to have a single flat sheet to sleep under. Feather beds & comforters are too hot for my taste. This is my problem not the hotels.

The hotel is located on a narrow street in the heart of Palma’s Old Town. Everything you might want to see in Palma is a short walk away. The 10 room hotel was built in the 1850’s, but feels updated and new inside. What really makes it special, though, is the exceptional service provided by the staff of two women. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Conchi, who gave us brilliant advice on restaurants, and even made reservations for us during the course of our 5 night stay. Her help was invaluable. In addition, her co-worker ensured that every guest had a great breakfast experience. If we return to Palma, we’ll be repeat guests of the Hotel San Lorenzo.

This hotel is in a very characterful building in a great location for accessing all the local sights, restaurants and bars and the staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were excellent and catered for all tastes. In all these areas the hotel lived up to our expectations.

We were allocated room number 3 at the very top and in the front of the hotel, which is located in a narrow cobbled alleyway. It was extremely noisy as there was building work going on from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm in the building directly opposite and we were unable to keep our windows open let alone try and have a siesta. We told the hotel about the problem but were not offered an alternative room. More importantly, the shower in this room is dangerous as one minute it is the correct temperature and the next it is literally scalding hot, so beware!

First thing, the location!! It was very close to everything we liked. It was quiet at night. I like the look of it,the atmosphere, the decorative. The top floor and swimming pools are, is beautiful and sunny. The bathrooms is beautiful, the bed are comfortable. Our bedroom was wide and comfortable with everything we needed.

The breakfast room was a bit dark. ( the glasses lampshade was dirty and blocked the light). In our bedroom there is a courtyard but the sun can’t get inside because it is in the wrong direction. The reception is small and a bit dull …

Excellent location just few mins walk to cathedral and old town. Breakfast buffet had good choice and cooked eggs, bacon etc were available and cooked to order. Nice friendly staff that gave a personal touch to the service. Very attentive and helpful on arrival and during the stay. Pool area/garden really nice, quiet and relaxing to sit and read. Restaurants within very easy reach.

Nothing really. The shower cubicle door had a gap so if shower head positioned at the wrong angle, it did leak out onto floor a bit but no real problem.

When I am in Palma I always stay here. Its an old mansion and it feels like a very fancy home. The swimming pool on the roof is the crown jewel. Like, you fly to Palma to stay at San Lorenzo to chill by the pool. :) It's small but delightful. Stay here! The only thing to know is there is no air conditioning in some of the rooms. The walls are a meter thick so it's normally fine... but if you are delicate flower you should double check.

The building is clearly an old building but has been decorated very well, it has lots of original features which really add to the beauty of the hotel. the staff got up early to make breakfast for us as we had to leave early which was very thoughtful of them.

The room that we stayed in was great but had a large window which was also lovely but the room was overlooked from above by the pool area so you need to be mindful about that when getting changed. but not really a problem.

The location was excellent, very well placed for the marina and the town. The breakfast was excellent. Lots of choice, efficient coffee machine and attentive staff. The hot option was really nice. We enjoyed the pool area, very intimate and clean.

The aircon in our room was ok, but it was in the lowest setting and at night it wasn’t quite cool enough. Other than that all good.

This boutique Hotel is absolutely perfect if you like peaceful surroundings ,extremely quiet ambience, gorgeous old historic building with gorgeous antique furnishings ,immaculately clean Hotel . Pool is small but perfect for relaxing ( pool area is small but was never an issue requiring comfortable loungers as you mostly felt as if you had the entire hotel to yourself ) Will definitely return for another perfect stay .
