We loved our stay at Can Bordoy! Location is fantastic & the rooms, particularily the beds are great. The hotel has outstanding amenities like a charming green courtyard with a pool & a rooftop pool. Our one big disappointment was, that the heated pool in the garden turned out to be not heated & out of service (which was particularily sad since it was one of the key reasons we chose the hotel for my wife’s winter birthday getaway). Hotel staff was very friendly & helpful though & offered free use of the hotel’s spa suite as compensation + a very cute birthday surprise (cake & cava). The restaurant in the hotel (Botanic) is also very very nice. All things considered, we’d definitely stay at Can Bordoy again (hoping all amenities are in full function next time).

This hotel is a jewel. And well deserving of its excellent reputation in top hotels of the world ratings. It reminded me somewhat of being in a beautiful Venetian palazzo with its period details and lovely garden. The staff -- Nikki, Victoria and Jaume -- were especially helpful and friendly. Breakfast in the garden patio was delightful. The location couldn't be better: a quiet, elegant street in the maze of delightful narrow alleys of the Old Town. Restaurants abound near the hotel and a delightful bakery that gives the street its name. What's more, it is just a 10- minute walk to the Cathedral. In the spring, be sure not to miss the gorgeous jacaranda in the garden, visible from the spectacular roof terrace with pool.

Well I did have a few quibbles. My traveler standard "suite" was just a single room and rather dark with a small window with no view. As it was next to a staircase I could hear people going up and down. But other than that it was very quiet. The bathroom sink had a rather quirky flat modern design that took some getting used to. The orange juice I had for breakfast was slightly off. Spain is famous for its Valencia oranges and visitors generally expect orange juice in Spain to be excellent. The Premium or Grand suite will probably be my next choice when I return. And I definitely will return to such a lovely place.

Incredible staff and facilities. Our room was amazing with impressive beautiful design. The bed was so comfortable we slept so well. It was quiet and secluded while still being in a perfect location. The pool and garden were an oasis from the heat and bustle of the city. Rooftop had incredible views. I would definitely stay here again.

There is very strong fragrance all over the hotel. It was too strong for me and initially was a little bothersome but I got used to it. Would definitely be a problem for someone who is sensitive to fragrance.

Beautiful boutique hotel, cleverly done. Lovely room, quiet calm pool areas with a choice between the heated swimming pool tucked away from the bustle of the city with birdsong in the shade of the garden trees and the cool rooftop plunge pool with views across Palma. We enjoyed the Spa with superb treatments by Jaz All completely glorious but the best bit was the fantastic staff - everyone was so friendly and helpful. Nothing too much trouble. The concierge team especially! Thank you Can Bordoy.

Amazing staff, very attentive. The personal note and gift to celebrate our anniversary was a warming touch, making us feel very welcome. No bar up on the rooftop, but they have system in place that order can be placed through Whatsapp and these are answered and attended to promptly. Used the Spa facilities right before flying back home. Very clean, well maintained and cosy.

Only minor thing missing might be gym facilities.

Staff went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable. Central location. Very good breakfast (a la carte with a small buffet focusing on local Mallorcan products). Beautiful garden area.

Rooms did not have as much natural light as we would have liked, however this is an issue encountered by most hotels in the the Palma old city.

Characterful hotel building and comfortable bed in the old town with very friendly and helpful staff. The innovative plant-led restaurant was an unexpected bonus. We really enjoyed relaxing in the lovely, quiet garden terrace at the rear of the property and making use of its outdoor heated pool - in April.

The junior suite we were allocated had a bed above the living/ bathroom area which was accessed by an unsteady spiral staircase - not easy to navigate, particularly at night!

The outstanding care of guests overrides everything else at this hotel (even including getting us to the airport) Huge thanks to the management and Chris. Botanic restaurant, garden, ambience, location. Diptyque products. Highly recommend this hotel and dinner at Botanic

Our specific room was quite dark and noisy but am sure other rooms were more spacious which we would love to experience on our next visit to Palma.

The most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed at. So aesthetic and comfy. We stayed during the winter, so they had the cutest Christmas decorations. The hotel is like a Harry Potter movie: majestic and mysterious. We booked the rooftop room with the jacuzzi. I can only imagine how amazing it must be in warmer times. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The location is at its best. Everywhere you go is reachable by foot, with the most stunning view at the Cathedral. Also, a lot of other monumental things are near by.

Room was too low kept banging my head on Rafters, steps to bathroom in middle of night an inconvenience.I was staying for 8 nights and they gave me the worse room in the loft with windows yiu can’t see out of The pictures of the high ceiling rooms are on only on 2 levels……give these rooms to people who don’t stay 8 nights and also I booked a room for my children too you’d think I’d get a better room
