The staff were very kind and helpful. They allowed us to leave our bags before check in, and pre-booked a taxi for our very early morning departure. It is a special place with gorgeous antique furniture. The location is excellent! Everything was very clean.

The air conditioning was out in the whole building our first night there. The staff apologized and kindly provided us a fan for the night. Our second night the air conditioning was fixed and was working :-) Our booking said there would be a sink in the room (we booked a room with a shared bathroom - shared with one other room), but there was not a sink in the room.

It was exactly as described on the website. A sensitively restored period house in the middle of the Old Quarter of Palma, a fantastic location if you want to explore this area - everything is pretty much in walking distance (There is also easy access to a frequent bus service to the Airport). Being a hostel type accommodation, food is not served at Hostal Pons, but there are many, many restaurants and bars to suit all tastes a short walk away. We tried the local Cafe Marti just around the corner - delicious locally inspired food! The owners who run the hostel, were extremely pleasant, and very helpful and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and bright - great experience - being woken to the morning calls of hundreds of swifts was an extra special delight!

Hostal Pons is a rather unique and remarkable place. The rooms are extremely basic and the ample facilities are shared but the situation is delightful. The hostal comprises a traditional Palma town house located in the old city. The house is elegant and everything is in easy walking distance including restaurants, cafes, a traditional panaderia, a pharmacy and the airport bus stop on Passieg de Mallorca. The hostal is run by young and enthusiastic owners and one would be hard pressed to find such convivial accommodation in this location at a comparable price.

The accommodation is a beautiful old Majorcan house in the centre of the old town being lovingly restored and cared for by the owners.A perfect spot ,very handy for everything.The property has a lovely peaceful feel and whether you are sitting in the courtyard garden or roof terrace (with nearby church bells occasionallychiming) this peace is all around.The owners Victoria and Gerard are charming and helpful,Gerard very kindly carried my case up the entrance steps and to my room which I appreciated.The bed was very comfortable ,single room was spacious,shared bathroom near my room was spotlessly clean,white subway tiles and great shower lots of hot water.En suite rooms are available but I booked last minute so none available.Very handy transport links to/from airport and Intermedial station from where you can get buses to places all over the island.Near all the main attractions of Palma plus shops,bars,restaurants(Gerard happy to recommend places and gave me perfect directions for airport bus stop).As a solo traveller felt very safe and will definately come back.

A fold down luggage rack for case would have saved having to bend down to get items out of case(and protected the beautiful original floor tiles).Being female a full length mirror would have been good and a mat of some sort in bathroom is needed to prevent possibly slipping on tiles.On the roof terrace some chairs and umbrellas would be good (there is a small brick seating bench,part of original building even cushions on that would be more comfortable).

On arrival we were greeted by Victoria who was helpful and attentive for the duration of our stay. Due to renovation she had given us a bigger room with an en suite and kitchen on the ground floor, which was lovely! The beds were clean and comfy, the bathroom was functional with a great powerful shower. Plenty of charm and very mallorca. We loved it. I asked for a kettle and some tea bags and we were provided with both. We also kept our luggage there after check out so we could have time in Palma without carrying it around all day before the evening flight. Overall, a lovely place, in the best position to explore Palma.

Smalll functional room which had a single bed, table and a sink. Very reasonably priced room given it was booked in July in Mallorca. There was a lot of light, but unfortunately no curtain for the small window which meant that in the morning the sun came in. Toilets and showers were on lower floors but I had no issue accessing them. The location was very convenient as close to cathedral and 20 mins walk to the city beach and also near the maritime area. The building was a nice old Spanish colonial building and roof terrace next to my room was very nice. I was arriving after 10pm as my flight was delayed and only realised that staff were not around at that time - which was noted in the confirmation. I was emailing them via booking.com and they stayed and waiting for my arrival before 10.30pm.

The curtain on the small window meant that sunlight streamed in at 5am, and I have trouble sleeping so was an issue.

very central, staff is super helpful and communicative and the whole place is very clean, would go again and recommend if you are looking for something simple yet central - good value for money and cleanliness is important for you + again the staff was very nice and helpful in any questions! thank you!

as it is central it can be a bit noisy from the street, it is a hostal (not a hostel) there is no kitchen etc but I didn't mind it, I would go again

2 of our group were taking part in the Palma marathon, the hostel was in the perfect location for both the marathon and exploring Palma before & after the race . Plus there was plenty of choice of bars and restaurants close by too . The hostel was clean & tidy with traditional features ( which we loved) communal spaces & a bonus fridge & hot plate in our room , there was a little hiccup with the availability of hot water at times but it was understandably due to the high demands . The hosts were welcoming & helpful .

Heaps of character, lovely old building with antique furnishings. Our bed was very comfortable and good sized room (number 8) with sink and courtyard view. Didn't mind the shared bathroom The shower was very good. Toilet room was fairly small with no hand basin. Never had to wait to use bathroom. Staff very friendly, good communication, and able to store bags after checkout for an extra charge (EUR1pp). Fabulous location: right in the heart of Palma. We had two windows on opposite sides of the room, so got good airflow through. Didn't use aircon, but our perception was it's on a timer, and not particularly powerful. If you like modern and luxurious, this is not the place for you, but we loved it and would stay again.

Not a problem for us, but there are a lot of stairs and no lift. A bath mat in the shower room could have been handy. The room was not serviced whist we stayed: again, not a problem for us, just an FYI for others.

Beautiful space, with lovely furniture and interiors. The bedroom was simple but perfect for one person, I also had a sink in my room which was handy, and room included a towel. Bed was comfy. 👌🏼 I asked Victoria for a yoga studio recommendation, and she helped me with a map and name of a local place. She was very friendly and really approachable. Also WhatsApped her about travel to the airport and she responded really quickly with info. 🙌🏼

It was right next to a school and really noisy in the morning with school kids playing ball games before class. So it was a 730am wake up call! Although this may have just been an unlucky room allocation. Not many communal spaces where people were hanging out. No facilities to make coffee or tea, maybe some breakfast options would be good. I unfortunately had a main plumbing pipe in my room so every time someone used the toilet or shower I had the noise of the water running down the pipe, which was quite loud.
