Perfect location, many interesting restaurants and bars on your doorstep. Rooms are quirky and comfortable, offering lots of space and at a very fair price point. Nice linen and cleaned daily. The azotea is a big bonus with views over the neighbourhood roofscape- a pleasant spot for a chilled cava!

Steep stairways and limited headroom in places- definitely not for those with mobility issues. The shower cubicle in our room (no 3) leaked quite badly, and we felt the small bathroom let the rest of the apartment down a little- this would be an easy fix. This was our 3rd stay- no breakfast this time as not included in the room rate. This is a shame as it is simple, inexpensive and hospitable to include breakfast- and of course a great way to showcase what the Canavall is all about in terms of friendliness and a warm welcome.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location, which made it really easy to explore Palma. This was my first trip as a solo female traveller, and I felt so comfortable and at home here. The staff were really helpful, ordering my taxi to the airport and storing my luggage after check out until my later flight. The hotel itself is a beautiful old building full of character, retaining quirky original features with super stylish decor and a very comfortable bed! I stayed in room 7, which was spacious and bright. Also, the added bonus of a small roof terrace to enjoy some sun and ice cream! I will definitely stay again when I next visit Palma. Thank you team Canavall!

The location is perfect—just a 10-minute walk from Plaça d'Espanya, where you can get off the A1 airport bus or catch the historic train to Sóller, as well as buses to other parts of Mallorca, such as Alcúdia. Canavall is also very close to bus no. 4 (only a 1-minute walk), which takes you to one of Palma’s nicest and closest beaches—Playa de Cala Major. (The reception even provides large beach towels! 🙂) It’s a 10-minute walk to Palma Cathedral and even less to the charming streets of the old town. Despite being centrally located, the apartment was quiet—we had no trouble sleeping. We stayed in apartment no. 9. The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable, and the sofa bed in the smaller bedroom was also fine. The kitchen had everything we needed for basic cooking, and we especially appreciated the Nespresso machine.

It wasn’t possible to open the window in the small bedroom. Occasionally, there was a slight sewer smell when returning to the apartment after being out for the day. However, this was easily resolved by opening both balcony doors for a few minutes. It didn’t bother us much, as we assumed this is common in older buildings.

We had a very nice stay! The location was absolutely perfect - amazingly close to everything, making it easy to explore the city. The space was exactly as shown in the pictures, with spacious rooms that were clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and both the check-in and check-out processes were smooth and hassle-free. I highly recommend this place and would love to stay here again!

The pillows were very flat and uncomfortable, and when we requested an additional one, we were given the same type. Given the price range, I would expect more pillow options. Additionally, there was an issue with the cold water supply. You had to leave the tap open for a couple of minutes each time for cold water to come through, as it would be extremely hot otherwise. I'm not sure if this is a general issue in Palma, but it was a bit inconvenient having to wait for the cold water each time. Housekeeping was somewhat inconsistent - while the towels were changed and the bed was made when the sign was up, the floors and surfaces weren’t cleaned at all during the whole stay.

I liked everything! Great stay! Room was ready already at 13:00 when I arrived, I got immediately help with my trolley to be carried up to the room. All staff was always very nice. The hotel has a fantastic location. Totally in the center, but in a quiet little road. I loved the breakfast! A huge variety and nicely arranged ( even fresh figs) . Relaxing music at the breakfast . I was really sorry to leave after two nights! Hope to come again. ( and yes, the stairs are steep, but previous generation managed 😉, so do not complain, if you cannot enjoy the wonderful atmosphere of an old town house than book a standard uninspired hotel)

Property is central in the City, only 10 minutes walk away from most places but it was super quiet at night which was great. The room was clean and spacious with a lovely aesthetic. Bed was comfortable and plenty of wardrobe / bathroom space for 2 girls. The breakfast was a delicious, fresh continental breakfast. Great value!! Will recommend to anyone coming to Palma

Nothing! Maybe the steps would be difficult for those who struggle physically. We struggled after our half marathon 😂 but genuinely no complaints!

Spacious suite, good breakfast selection and a perfect location in old Palma. Private and quiet with many good bars and restaurants on your doorstep. Clean and comfortable accommodation at a fair price point. We particularly enjoyed indulging in a bottle of cava on the roof terrace in the late afternoon sun... happy days!

The room was a lovely size, stunning big windows that let in lots of light and ideal location for exploring the old town of Palma. Loved the roof terrace and we sat there with a glass of wine before going out in the evening.

The noise from refuse collectors, street cleaners and our room was situated above the front door which you heard ring every time someone entered or exited. Breakfast was ok I read some reviews before booking that said it was excellent? Certainly enough choice but no hot opinions that I could see on display.

The location was fantastic for exploring Palma. The apartment was bigger than I thought; it was clean and well looked after. We arrived late in the evening, and the instructions on how to find and access the property were super easy. We were really impressed with the space we had.

The shower worked and the bathroom was lovely, however when on full flow the shower floods the bathroom - Although usable on a softer flow, it could be improved on.

Loved the studio apartment. The location was fantastic and only short walking distance to many great shops, restaurants and bars. The apartment was clean and beautiful and we loved having a kitchen.

Keeping some full size condiments and cooking amenities in the apartment would be helpful as it’s not likely to be used in full for a short visit (olive oil, salt, pepper). We used the small invidiual portions on the first day :) Otherwise it was a perfect stay
