The location-very easy access from the train station. Also the direct bus to Charleroi airport is only a few minutes walk away. The hotel is very close to the main sights of Mons, the old town, Grand Place etc. The staff in all areas of the hotel were very friendly and welcoming and always made a point of saying 'bonjour,' smiling and acknowledging you. The room was surprisingly large, with big bed, lots of space and big bathroom. The hotel was spotlessly clean and fresh. The room was very quiet and I slept really well. Excellent choice of hot and cold dishes at breakfast.

Just that the elevator wasn’t working, but I usually try to take the stairs anyway. Everyone was very upfront about this. The staff were super kind, apologetic and even offered to help with my small bags - very kind and accommodating. Gave me a 5€ voucher for a nice beer in their lounge. Perfect!

Roomy & comfortable. Nice, hot breakfast. Great WiFi. Free underground parking. Short walk to the main centre of town with many restaurants.

Wrong location. I first went to the address shown on the reservation - that was still under construction. Sign was posted for the correct location. Just a mild inconvenience. Hotel could have sent a message about the correct address.

It was a very pleasant stay. The room was large and comfortable, good value for money and the breakfast was OK. I liked their option for no room cleaning policy, as I never want daily cleaning anyway. Staff was really helpful.

When you entered the room you could sense a smell, but it disappeared quickly. Also some of the breakfast options were really poor, scrambled eggs and sausages were not that good.

Gated/safe parking. Room was clean and comfortable and large. Buffet breakfast was tasty and there were lots of options to eat. Staff were really helpful, had a map to enable us to walk to the centre of Mons for a meal (about 10-15 minutes) which was really lovely (once we had passed the road works - they are laying cobbles/stones)

Noisy - during the night a door/loud bang woke us a couple of times. Getting to the hotel due to road works was a nightmare, instructions not clear enough. Maps provided but don't really show which road is which and how to get back when you have gone wrong! All one way streets. Red signs stop half way to the hotel. Will be much better when roadworks/new station complete.

I didn't choose the breakfast. The room was good. Location wise this is the best place to be. There are lots of restaurants within literally 2-3 minutes walking distance. Train station is just on the other side of the hotel.

The only thing that bothered me is the water overflowing of shower to the bathroom floor. The certain was not enough. You have to be very careful while taking shower. Also don't stand in the bathtub, it was slippery.

No water in the room, had to pay 2euros per bottle. On the second day I got free water as the elevator was not working. Also there is a weird smell in the bathroom. The breakfast is soooooo bad ;)

I liked the style of the hotel and the room -it was clean, comfortable, spacious and modern-. They have lockers you can use for free, which is also good thing to know. Also, the staff was very nice to us.

They make you pay a deposit of 100€ but you get it back immediately once you check out.

A very zen reception area, lovely chap on reception, also very calm and efficient. A fresh looking room with BBC TV to catch up on what's happening back home, and some entertainment in English. Breakfast options were great! freshly squeezed orange juice was a real pleasure at 06:30.

Road works had closed off the entrance to hotel so it was a real fanny to find a way into the grounds. some prior notice would had have been helpful.

Very helpful and friendly staff who went above and beyond. Location right next to the station also very convenient.

Nothing really. If I was to be super picky- Water for making tea at breakfast could have been warmer - a bit on the cool side of "hot"
