This hotel greatly exceeded my expectations. The staff went above and beyond. The location was easy to find yet in a very quiet, wooded location. I was delighted to learn that we would be in one of the amazing, one-of-a-kind suites they built on site. Each building was a completely different, unexpected design and was modern, comfortable, and placed to take advantage of the view into endless woods. Kudos go especially to Lynda at the front desk who went out of her way to not only straighten out our arrival reservation but, when we did not have a reservation for dinner,- it turns out it was a special festival weekend in town and most places were booked - spent a loooong time on the phone calling local restaurants to find a lovely area restaurant for our party of four. The grounds of the hotel were designed to take advantage of the wooded location, with fish ponds around the property. There were tables and benches in public areas outside where one could spend quiet, private time - I used my computer one afternoon, enjoying the sunshine outside while drinking a cold beer. I would definitely stay here again and encourage my friends to stay here, too.

Some information about the hotel suggests that it has a swimming pool. It does not. We were absolutely OK with this. However, if you want to lounge by a pool, this may not be the place for you. The pools are designed fish ponds and they are organic and natural so just watch the koi and feed them bread crumbs. It was wonderful to discover this cool shaded landscape and tranquility so surprisingly near SHAPE, Mons, and Pairi Daiza,.

The rooms were both of good size. Clean, comfortable, good bed size. Mattresses were a bit on the soft side for our personal preferences but OK for a couple of nights. On site breakfast was OK, not a huge variety but good enough for a breakfast before spending the day out. We went in late October, so the surrounding forest was already in autumn mode, all quite nice a beautiful but I am sure some of the other hotel facilities can be better enjoyed in summer. Our main reason to go there was to visit the Paira Daiza zoo, this hotel was in a perfect location to do so. Plus for me was the small gym, it had good enough basic equipment to clock a couple of workouts.

The mattresses were a bit too soft but OK for a couple of night, had we stayed longer, I think it would have been a bigger issue. The pillows were very small. This probably sounds like a small matter, but over longer stays it can be uncomfortable.

Very friendy and welcoming staff. Prepared a large bed and a single bed so that my son had free choice where to sleep - he indeed went for both options ;) Very hidden and close to nature. You wouldn't say that you are close to Mons. Calm and no noise in the evening. Good restaurant in the own building and parking in front of the hotel.

I was told that I was upgraded to a lodge, which was a standalone barrack in the woods. Very well designed. It might be good for some people to stay in such a room, but it would be nicer if I was given the option to prefer a room. Normally I don't prefer this room. For example, the glass ceiling was not what I would prefer. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The lodge was nice, but not my type. Breakfast should be improved.

That was a modern hotel with chalet in unique modern design. That was a pleasure to stay in one of the chalet with windows looking to the autumn forest and be awake with birds whistles. Restaurant has a nice interior and tasty menu. Breakfast was good as well. Bread was fresh and warm.

Our chalet was not for high people, but the rest was well.

All nice and clean, nice facilities The restaurant was good- starters are crazy expensive nearly same price as the mains so we had mains only. Mains were great!

It's a great location in the middle of a forest. Great outdoors, we hope to come again in better weather. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The little wooden houses are extremely cute. Room was quite big. Free and wide parking. Lots of food options in the area, and there's a restaurant in the hotel as well.

Pool was a bit cold. Breakfast is too expensive. It's true, rooms' noise isolation is not great and some guests decided before 7 am and after 11 pm are good hours to chat loudly.

Breakfast exceeded my expectations and the location, in the middle of an ancient forrest, is amazing.

I didn't like the smell of the room we had been assigned although it was clean. Furthermore one nightstand was absent ( ripped from the wall ).
