The hotel was in a beautiful village looking over countryside and a short walk into the centre. We were welcomed very warmly and with a cold beer, which was perfect! The owners of the hotel were very kind, very nice and ensured we were comfortable. The b&b was clean and homely. Really special. They were very helpful and made dinner reservations for us in the village. The breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day ahead. A super place, we were sad we couldn't staying longer. Car parking facilities were excellent as it was private and plenty of room!

We had been told that the hot water to the bathroom would take a while to reach. It did take a good 25 minutes to become slightly warm!

Great location, cozy and very well maintained, the original architecture and interior design give the house a unique look and vibe and make you feel comfortable and welcomed. We love our stay at El Tyu, the hosts were lovely and very friendly, they prepared an amazing breakfast for us. We had a nice chat and enjoyed a lot their company at breakfast. We will definitely go back to this amazing place.

Breakfast was great, and owner was really friendly and helpfull in finding places for us to eat dinner, as restaurant was closed, as we where out of season. We had familly room, where it is merged two rooms by bathroom. We liked it. Th moring view out of window, and walking donkeys in view was nice.

It was nothing about staying, just be aware, if you go to this city in not season and monday, then don''t be suprised, that there will be hard to find things to do, and where to it in time from 14-18.

The friendly owners made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was spacious, clean and airy, with comfortable beds and a lovely shower room/ toilet. A bar area provided a place to sit and relax before bed, which we enjoyed with a complimentary local beer straight from the nicely stocked fridge, There were plenty of food choices for breakfast, all fresh and delicious, with tasty coffee too. I heartily recommend this lovely b&b

B&B El Tyu is difficult to pronounce, but absolutely marvellous to stay. When making the booking, you may expect Belgian countryside accommodation. In reality it feels like going to grandpa's place - you feel that much welcome. Yes, it is not luxurious, some may find it rather basic. But the warmth and helpfulness of the family who has lived in the house since they built it in 1970s, makes you want to stay more, enjoy the walks in their backyard, feeding the donkeys and enjoying the paysage. Their breakfast was very nice, including home-made apple-juice. For me it has been a very unique stay in Belgium.

Some more power sockets could be upgraded to today's standard. It was not problem as there were some that were compatible.

Beautiful maison, with stylish rooms, which are perfectly clean and cozy. Breakfast is of high quality - homemade, tasty, with perfect serving! The owner and her family are easy going people, have many advices where to eat, where to go and etc. Surroundings also are nice for an evening walk. We are travelling a lot and havn’t seen such a heartfelt communication! Good luck for your family!❤️

Lovely B&B with lots of character. All rooms are different and charming. Breakfast was good and served to table. The hostess was very attentive and kind. Only downside was low water pressure in the shower, but it’s not a surprise in a house that old.

This is a beautiful building, that provided us with a quiet and comfortable stay. The owners were welcoming and friendly, and went out of their way to serve us a special breakfast. Safe parking for our motorcycles was appreciated.

Beautiful charming old house , oozing character . Comfy beds , delicious homemade breakfast . We were lucky enough to stay when the garden terrace was open , to enjoy a glass of wine & some charcuterie . Thank you Nathalie & family for a lovely stay .

We liked staying in this beautiful house during our GR12 hiking adventure. It was a bit off track but worth the extra kilometres walk. We slept well and enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. Highly recommend.
