The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. We could tell that they're transforming the old hotel to make it into something new and better, but this will take a bit of time. I'm sure by the end of 2025, this place will be even better. The attentiveness of the staff made all the difference. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the bathroom was well renovated. Location next to the station and very close to the city center was excellent.

The timing of our visit was during the annual Doudou festival, so it was quite full, meaning that you had to wait sometimes for the sole elevator that was servicing all the floors. It was hard for the staff to keep up with the morning rush for breakfast on the main Sunday of the festival, but you could tell everyone was doing their best. These two points are just for awareness. Due to the high demand during the Doudou festival, the price was quite high for what you get, but that's the price of staying during the craziest time of the year in Mons. :-) Despite all this, we would gladly stay here again.

Apart from the view of Mons futuristic train station from my 6th floor refurbished room, this could have been a B&B Hotel anywhere in Europe. But I guess that's the point, the quality standard of the brand. What though really stood out for me was how the hotel didn't just pay lip service to the environment, but had actually taken a positive action - you could say you didn't want your room cleaned/your towels washed (so unnecessary for 2 nights) and in return you got free drink or free snack from hotel shop.

We arrived at the hotel to be told they had a problem with the electricity and could we wait 10 minutes for them to sort it out. Before the 10 minutes we were told that it couldn't be fixed and if it was ok with us we could stay at the sister hotel, so we got back on our motorbikes and travelled to the other hotel. On our arrival the team knew what our problem was and booked us in, they even upgraded our rooms! It makes a change these days to have such a swift resolution.

The location-very easy access from the train station. Also the direct bus to Charleroi airport is only a few minutes walk away. The hotel is very close to the main sights of Mons, the old town, Grand Place etc. The staff in all areas of the hotel were very friendly and welcoming and always made a point of saying 'bonjour,' smiling and acknowledging you. The room was surprisingly large, with big bed, lots of space and big bathroom. The hotel was spotlessly clean and fresh. The room was very quiet and I slept really well. Excellent choice of hot and cold dishes at breakfast.

No control over ventilation in v hot weather - I had to sleep with window open and there was a lot of traffic noise on the main road outside both late at night and early in the morning. One REALLY important thing for travellers, which could easily be fixed is a few pegs or hooks for coats, hats etc. I got caught in v heavy rain and had a real problem with all my wet clothes.

Great location, amazing staff, surprisingly nice comfortable room for the price. Excellent breakfast that was unexpectedly included. Super experience overall.

Just that the elevator wasn’t working, but I usually try to take the stairs anyway. Everyone was very upfront about this. The staff were super kind, apologetic and even offered to help with my small bags - very kind and accommodating. Gave me a 5€ voucher for a nice beer in their lounge. Perfect!

Perfect location in front of the station of Mons (we went to Dour festival), very friendly staff, really nice, quite large (compared to other hotels for this price) and clean room (renovated) with very good and large bed. Renovated and clean bathroom with walk-in shower. Really value for money with option to park your car at the private parking of the hotel for 15€ per night.

Roomy & comfortable. Nice, hot breakfast. Great WiFi. Free underground parking. Short walk to the main centre of town with many restaurants.

Wrong location. I first went to the address shown on the reservation - that was still under construction. Sign was posted for the correct location. Just a mild inconvenience. Hotel could have sent a message about the correct address.

It was a very pleasant stay. The room was large and comfortable, good value for money and the breakfast was OK. I liked their option for no room cleaning policy, as I never want daily cleaning anyway. Staff was really helpful.

When you entered the room you could sense a smell, but it disappeared quickly. Also some of the breakfast options were really poor, scrambled eggs and sausages were not that good.

Stayed only one night while passing through. Staff were super friendly, room was comfortable and clean and breakfast was great.

The only negative comment was that the showers were a bit temperamental in both rooms.
