Spacious room and I appreciate that the toilet was separate from the shower. Shower was large. The room, while standard in decoration, was comfortable with a good bed and all expected amenities. Clean. At a convenient location near the station and at walking distance from the city. I did not try the spa or gym but took a peek at the gym and it looked like a decent one with all basic equipment available. Front desk staff were friendly and efficient.

A previous guest had stuck their used chewing gum on the shower ceiling. I understand how this may have been missed by housekeeping but it was a little off-putting. Breakfast was good in terms of quality and quantity, but personally I never think it's worth the price unless you eat a lot. The person who worked at the egg station on one of the mornings I was there was shouting at other guests who had not gotten a plate yet (which are positioned somewhere else and have to be picked up first). It came across as unfriendly and unwelcoming - it's all in the tone of voice.

A lovely hotel, busy but spacious with lovely facilities. The bedroom was comfortable and the service friendly and efficient.

The area was undergoing major roadworks making it almost impossible to access the hotel. A sign would have been helpful. Don't forget to get a parking ticket to exit the hotel car park when you leave. We were all kicked out of the spa facilities at 18.00, which was way too early when we had driven 600miles that day and wanted to relax. I think the staff just wanted to go home and lock up. I can understand the Beauticians section, but why the pool etc? Why pay for a Spa Hotel when its just sits empty all evening?? disappointing!

I rated the hotel “Excellent” because it delivered exactly what a business traveler needs, like efficiency, comfort, and professionalism. The service was seamless, the amenities were thoughtfully designed for productivity, and every detail from check-in to checkout, ran like clockwork. It allowed me to focus on work without distractions.

My stay was too short so I didn’t get to see nor enjoy the wellness and enjoyment part 😂

Stayed here last week, and I’m still not sure if I was a guest or the star of a reality show about ridiculously good service. The staff treated me like royalty—at one point, I half-expected someone to carry me to my room on a golden throne. The bed? So comfortable, I briefly considered marrying it. The pillows? Softer than a baby unicorn’s hug. And let’s talk about the bathroom—there was a rain shower that made me feel like I was auditioning for a shampoo commercial. Breakfast? A masterpiece. I ate so much that I may now legally qualify as a croissant. And the coffee was so good it practically whispered, "You’re unstoppable today." The only downside? Leaving. I tried to convince the swan towel to come home with me, but it refused. Five stars, zero complaints, and one very happy (and overly full) guest!

This hotel was correctly priced for what it offered in the location, which meant that in comparison to similar hotels elsewhere it was good value for money. Pool / spa not huge, but well appointed (NB extra charge for spa area, but pool included). Gym similar. Restaurant had an excellent menu, good food and service. Moderately pricey but the quality matched. Very comfortable rooms, although I found the pillows and duvet both rather thick.

Breakfast is pricey - I didn’t try it.

Hotel was great - like all the Van der Valk hotels, they’re nice medium-upscale. We stay at them frequently because of their top-notch electric charging infrastructure.

This is not their fault, but the walkway to the main station and to the center of town is kind of annoying. Maybe by 2070, Mons will finish their new spaceship-styled train station. Until then it’s mildly annoying that the hotel is on the "wrong" side of the city. It’s perfectly safe, it’s just there’s nothing on that side of Mons station and it’s a bit of a walk to get around it (10-15 min). I’m sure this will be a fantastic location if Mons Station’s construction is finished within our lifetime.

We liked the location, the public areas of the hotel were nice and the bar was very cozy. Parking was plentiful and the hotel was within walking distance to the city center

The bathroom sink would not drain, the shower was not clean, mold around the caulking. The breakfast is lovely but about double the price it should be. Hotel caters to military people getting a government rate leaving regular patrons to search for a more reasonable breakfast

The hotel gym was surprisingly good, I enjoyed being able to workout here. The A/C worked great and the showers had good water pressure. The bar and the separate restaurant were exceptionally great. Food was delicious, drinks were well made, and there is a great beer selection.

I didn't like that the gym and sauna areas were not open until 7. Impossible to get my workout in early. The wifi was terrible throughout the hotel and I rarely had enough service to stream a show. The beds were extremely firm and not comfortable at all.

Exceptionally comfortable room. The staff was very friendly and accommodation, and the gym and spa area was an exhilarating experience.

The in room shower was great for sitting in the tub. But when using the hose for the every day shower, it was lacking a place to put the hose and a curtain not to stain the floor. This minor thing was really the only one I disliked. Otherwise it was just a great experience.

We enjoyed the restaurant and the spa treatments. The room itself was comfortable.

The description of the room was not what we expected as we booked a junior suite which stated it was a separate sitting room to bedroom. This was not the case, and it felt like we were put into one of their comfort rooms. However, we made do with the space we were in. It was very comfy.
