We stayed on the property for 3 days. The stay was awesome the property is located in a remote location with an excellent view and a beautiful garden. It is easy to access, roads are in good condition. Rooms: We stayed in the Superior Mountain View room, the room was neat and spacious with 3 beds, writing table, self , kettle, and toiletries .( same as mentioned and shown in pictures). SMART TV with excellent WIFI connectivity (with uninterrupted streaming ). Which is great. The view from the Private Balcony was great ( you will get the same view as shown in the pictures). Food : The food was delicious, especially BBQ Chicken and BBQ Fish was awesome. The complimentary breakfast was good (bread, dosa, idle, egg, cereals, fresh juice, etc..). We need to book dinner in the evening itself. There is little delay in preparing food since they prepare everything fresh, it's quite understandable and worth the wait (for the taste). Staff: Very friendly staff always with a smile. Big hats off to them for making our stay memorable. (unfortunately, I forget their names ) Activities : On request, they will arrange a Jeep (we can't use our own vehicle for sightseeing in Kanthalloor, Marayoor because of the terrain 4x4 vehicle is a must) for local sightseeing, a private waterfall visit, and a night safari (of course at extra cost, but the pricing is decent comparing to others ). Best time to Visit: August to February for the best experience, we visited in the month of October the weather was at its best it was drizzling, chill, and misty. Tip: The superior mountain view is quite better than the one-bedroom villa (which costs more), it comes with a private balcony where you can sit and enjoy the view. More privacy than a One-bedroom villa.

The staff, especially Amal, were extremely accommodating. Amal’s cooking was exceptional, and very generous. Barbecued food at the table side was a delicious treat. The room was spacious and comfortable with good views across the valley. Amal was able to organise tours and trekking locally which we both enjoyed. The staff worked as a close knit and conscientious team. We loved our stay.

Could do with more comfortable seating on the balcony. A tiny detail.

Personalized service. Excellent food by Amal. I forgot his assistant name ( i think its Satheesh) he was amazing. He was taking special care to our requests and i can see that he is doing the same for other guests as well. Small Boutique property but i liked the overall experience. Would love to stay for more nights next time.

The Location is incredible, Surrounded by Nature & beautiful landscape. The Mud houses are so well designed. The staff Mr. Satheesh was very friendly & Satheesh cater to our needs very well. I really recommend this Deshaden Mud house Eco valley Resort

Amazing ,its kind of boutique resort, me and my family had a great stay with exemplary homely food , its location is amazing and there is beautiful vilage puthur nearby, last but not the least Manager cum Chef Amal and Satish made us feel so comfortable and worth cherishing

The resort is in a perfect location for a peaceful getaway. The staff is very friendly and they cater to your needs very well. They also provide and help you with exploring nearby locations including a jeep safari.

We had booked the luxury villa. In which the tub had some issues and could not sustain heated water for long. Also the villa lacked hooks to hang clothes or towels. The bathroom didn't have a mirror. Apart from that it provided a very nice view and comfortable ambience

Deshadan Eco Valley resort is situated in Kanthalloor, which is about 55 km away from Munnar. From Munnar the journey is quite enjoyable with the breathtaking views of tea plantations as well as the sandal wood forests of Marayoor which offers yet another dimension to the journey. This resort is the typical far from the madding crowd spot. It is built out in a mud house model which is very unique 👌. It is pleasantly chill inside the mudhouse. Keeping with the concept you have to expect a rustic ambience and basic facilities. Amal and team are great and we thoroughly enjoyed their hospitality.They even organized for the sightseeing trips as well as night safari. Bsnl and Jio are the only available network however the resort offers wifi. Overall we had a memorable trip and stay at Deshadan eco valley mud house.
