The room is super new, i think the hotel open just past few months The lobby is also very nice, with a spiral staircase if you are the kind of person who likes to take photo It was a stay-in vacation for me so i really do appeciate the new, big smart TV Its also a quiet area except its just my luck there was a marathon event running on the morning when i stayed there but the hotel made effort by sending notice to the guest, telling us upfront there will be a marathon happening tomorrow morning so its all expected, the communication was done nicely

I think we can have a real spoon in the room as its also environmental friendly, instead of just providing 2 wooden stirrers The windows of the room are actually pretty dirty, you can tell its not washed yet after the hotel is built because it looks like mud or cement from constuction Im staying at higher floor, maybe a clean window will lighten guests' mood while looking out from the room ; )

I love the simplicity & functionality of the hotel. Love the fact that they have a shuttle service to One Batam Mall.and a few other places. The breakfast spread is scrumptious too and it was a pleasant surprise to see that they served on the spot grilled chicken for breakfast! Definitely spoilt for choice🥰. If you forgot your phone charger, no worries, the hotel provides a wireless charger which was really helpful. Our room is also elderly friendly. We had the rollerchair to assist the elderly in the toilet, this was a pleasant surprise. I have never seen one in all the hotels i've been to so far.

Spacious room, clean, good matress. This hotel is very new, open in last May, according to one staff. We stay on 15th fl of 18th highest. Staff all very kind, smile, helpful, good english, well trained. Bfst is awesome, altho i cant eat much. Expect to have vegetable lontong, the standard kind, but nope, tho hv lontong but for other dish, soto ? Not familiar. Good stay, but Pricey, too high price, I could say, for batam island. I stay Marriot in Medan pay less than this. Perhaps New, i guess.

Bathroom. No exhaust as far as i know, my husband agreed too. Shower rain is good, strong flow but not for handheld shower kind. This is weak, frustrated. Bidet water is weak, minimum run. Wish it one step strong abit. Had adjusted to max, at bottom knob. The end. Pool..is as per picture, only for fun. We swim 2x. The next morning too.

The staff is so welcoming and warm. All the questions and help I need they are so helpful and proactive in seeing them doing their very best to fulfil so sincerely. Especially the very pleasant surprise of decorating the room for my friend for his 60th birthday! So pleasantly surprised and it is so memorable to fit the occasion. Like their breakfast buffet spread! Thank you Grande Mercure Team! Keep it up and hope to see you again.

Since it is new, there is no lounge to chill in the night to wind down with a nightcap.

Facilities and amenities were great, from the general spaces to room. Staff were warm and hospitable. We had a special request to have a late check out, which the team accommodated. It was a great experience overall. The staff also added special touches to our room (cake and decorations) as we mentioned we were on our honeymoon.

The shower took a considerable time (almost 5 minutes) to dispense heated water.

We were lucky to get an upgrade for our rooms. The rooms were spacious, beautifully structured, and the view was amazing, we absolutely loved it!

Maybe they could provide a few more coffee capsules, haha we only got two, and my husband really needed his coffee the next day. 😅

Hotel food is good. But complimentary breakfast is ok. Room service a little slow. But staff are all nice and friendly.

It would have been great if there aren't so many mosquitos in the restaurant. City view rooms but it's all work in progress. Not a very nice scenery.

Overall the room was amazing and view too. What i like the most is the breakfast was superb. Alot of variety from local to western to japanese too. Keep it up all. Please keep it all the great work to maintain the service tip top.

Hotel and facilities are new. Breakfast was enjoyable and you can stay for long hours to enjoy.

Our room in the 12th floor faces the main road which the traffic noise is quite bad at night which may be a problem for sleeping at night.

The staffs were very helpful. There was a problem of my room’s Netflix and they changed my room to make sure I have an enjoyable stay there. The room is very clean and comfortable.
