It was our first time in Japan. We drove from Tokyo to Sapporo to ski at several resorts. Pension Kobekko was by far the highlight of all our accomodation. We stayed 4 nights and it felt like a home away from home, from the moment we stepped in. Tika is the most accomodating host, so warm and helpful. We had a double room with bathroom and it was very large, clean and warm. We had one breakfast and one dinner and both were sensational. The facilities are amazing including tea and coffee, cozy lounge room, dry room, laundry facilities (washer/dryer), shuttle bus to the slopes or town for dinner. But the absolute best part was the 2 private onsens which I used morning and night. I actually didn't want to leave but we will make sure to book again next year. Thank you Tika xox

There is nothing not to like.

Absolutely love this accomodation. The owners are so accommodating and friendly. They have great facilities such as washing machine, dryer, family room with TV and lag massager, 2 x private hot tub/ onsen, restaurant, kids room, free tea and coffee machines and so much more. The owners personally drive you to and pick you up from the town or ski fields. Amazing location. Short walk into Tsugaike town and ski field. Comfortable beds. But the thing I will rate the most is the exceptional warmth and service from the owners. Absolutely recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Nothing. Though I will say we stayed in 2 x double single bed rooms. Myself and husband in one and older kids in the other.

Our hosts were amazing! They were so accommodating and flexible, trying extremely hard to please. The place is clean and simple - a short walk from Tsukaige gondolas but free shuttles are available from Pension Kobekko. We had to reserve dinner a day ahead to give them time to prepare the set menu - and hold on to our seats during the 5 course meal... it was "simply divine".to quote my wife Would recommend to all. Closest gondola offers exceptional access for beginners and some runs for more confident skiers. Other ski resorts a short bus ride away offers more serious sking. Everything required to ski or snowboard is available to rent on the spot. Thanks for having us

Loved it all

It’s clean everywhere. Although they state that only a limited number of amenities are provided in the room, they offer everything we need in the shared place, such as hair dryers, toothbrushes and toothpaste, skincare products, water, tea, coffee, and even noodles, all at no extra charge. The staff are very supportive and friendly. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return if we plan to visit Hakuba again.

Very traditional breakfast, well presented. The hosts Chika and Toshinobi were very helpful and accommodating to help us get to the ski field and to dinner in the village and on other missions

More hooks in our room to hang up clothes would have made life easier

We had a great stay at Pension Kobekko. Our hosts were warm, friendly and accommodating. The Pension is just a few minutes drive from Tsugaike, and there is a shuttle service available. We hope to visit again!
