It was an amazing experience, the staff really went above and beyond to accommodate my friends and I on our graduation trip. Highly highly recommend to anyone on the fence about going, we were treated like kings and it was the single most memorable thing about our 3 week trip to Japan.

Nothing, it was amazing

Had a little trouble finding the exact entrance area as the sun is setting and it was raining a little. Called the hotel and was addressed by a staff who could speak mandarin and it’s really wonderful cause we were in distress by then. He checked our location and came out to find us and lead us the right way to the hotel. Very polite and has provided us very excellent service throughout. Too bad we didn’t get his name but it was a young guy from guangdong, he really made our stay so enjoyable. Keep up the good work!

room view - terrific. you are on top of the mountain with a private onsen. it's a definite 10/10 when you watch sunset with your loved ones. food - breakfast and dinner are both awesome. you will experience one the best Japanese fine dining in your own house. stuff - super friendly and helpful

Gosyo Gekkoujyo is an outstanding experience from start to finish. The exceptional staff made us feel well cared for throughout our stay. Our room had an outdoor cave onsen that we never wanted to leave. The food was the highlight - we spent over four hours a day eating. That said, if you don’t enjoy all things Japanese then this might not be the place for you.

Beautiful serene location, world class amenities, the food was outstanding and the service was attentive, patient and friendly especially Kavita . The food was exceptional, the chef went out if his way to cater for our 11 year old

Good facility and really really clean. A lot of privacy. Comfortable room and stay. Prepare special treat for our occasions. And have a goodbye gift when we leave the property. Shuttle is very flexible and helpful. Staffs are friendly and offer to take photos for us which makes good memories for us.

Lack of carefulness. Such as still serving oysters after asked me twice about food allergy before arrival via email; and after I told the server about this issue there’s nothing happened. I was expecting at least I can get a replacement that I can eat. Also didn’t turn on venting machine after lighting up charcoal, kind of dangerous. Cold dishes are not fresh and smell like refrigerator. Too dark at night makes it hard to walk around.
