A Place Where My Mind Could Finally Rest Staying at Ocean Star Hotel was a truly healing experience. The owner gave me the rare gift of being able to fully relax – not just physically, but mentally. I’m deeply grateful to her and will carry that feeling with me for a lifetime. The hotel has a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home from the very first moment. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, and the staff is always helpful and kind. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, and prepared with care – a perfect start to each day. I can’t wait to come back. If you’re looking for a peaceful, heartfelt place to stay, Ocean Star Hotel is more than just a recommendation – it’s a must.

The staff in this hotel were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much for them. Grace in particular at the front desk helped with many arrangements. It is not clear why they did not have more guests as everything was good and the rooms all have a nice bay view. They have free parking right at the hotel. And the hotel pricing is fair. I looked at he other top end hotels in the town and one were quite a bit pricier. the other about the same.

The breakfast is the only thing I thing that could be improved as it was a little sparse for a 4 star hotel. I understand that there were few guests staying and they likely didn't want to waste food. When they heard I was vegetarian, however, they immediately adapted the menu which was nice of them.

The bread-fast was really great. We stayed there for five nights and the chef tried to change up some of the dishes so we wont be eating the same thing everyday. The service is also great. The staff was eager to assist and accommodate our needs. The view of the sea is also really great.

It’s a bit father away from the dock if you are going to snorkeling. If you don’t or cannot walk a few hundred meters, you’ll need taxi every time you go out of the hotel. The public area in second and third floor is not air-conditioned. During our stay, it’s hot to walk in the hallway or dine in the hotel’s restaurant.

Big, newly renovated room with comfortable bed. Due to the ongoing renovation works I was upgraded to a Deluxe room with gorgeous views of the sunset from the big balcony. The reception staff was very welcoming, friendly and efficient, they can also help with car rental, laundry, booking of tours and dinners, and organize transfers to and from the airport with the hotel bus (20 USD).

Noisy renovation works ongoing, but should be finished soon. Only Chinese TV programs. Not much infrastructure around the hotel. The biggest setback however is the breakfast: A few (all cold!) Chinese dishes that are absolutely incompatible with Western palates. I bought my own muesli, milk, yoghurt and cheese for breakfast. Also tried a pizza for dinner and was very disappointed.

All the Guys of reception were kindly, helpful and polite. A special mention for Miss Flora and Mr Christian ! Very kind and available the staff of the rooms, gave us all the items we need more ( chair and pillows ). Good room face to the sea. Free parking.

The breakfast. Poor. Always the same food.2 days we were alone and no breakfast served. Only few things we asked. No sweeties. Absolutely to improve !!! Unfortunately no lift ! Only stairs !

Quiet great view of T-dock cove. Bathroom was clean and worked great. Amenities include toothbrush/toothpaste. Soap, shampoo and conditioner. Comb and super quiet vortex dryer with cold button was great.

Low water pressure on hot water. Bathroom had wall of glass see through window. Why? The bath/shower has no seal so showering splashes water all over the floor.

My stay at the Ocean Star Hotel in downtown Koror, close to the T-Dock, was a notably comfortable experience. The standout feature of the hotel was its exceptionally clean and modern rooms. The quality of the food was good, providing a pleasant start to each day. It was a enjoyable meal that catered well to the start of a busy day exploring Koror. The location of the hotel is ideal for those looking to be in the heart of the city and near the T-Dock. It serves as a convenient base for various activities and exploring the local area. The proximity to key attractions and ease of access to day trips around Koror was a significant advantage. In summary, the Ocean Star Hotel provided a good stay with its clean, modern rooms and excellent service. The breakfast was a nice addition to the mornings, and the central location made it easy to enjoy the best of Koror. This hotel is a suitable option for travelers looking for a comfortable and straightforward place to stay in the city.

Hotel is clean, the beds are firm, breakfast wwas a good spread of Chinese and western choices. Enjoyed the bath tub in my room and had great water views.

Would have been nice to have English channels on TV. There's a nice spot to watch the sunrise and sunset at the end of the road, but there are some scary barking dogs you have to pass.

Staff and service were great. Especially, Christian who was super friendly and helpful. I also liked the amenities given in the bathroom. WiFi was very good.

Although staff at the breakfast were very nice, I wish there was more variety of food to choose from. Also, I requested a shuttle service from the airport, but didn’t receive a reply.

It was such mistaken when I thought I got unauthorized credit card spending in hotel. I really appreciate the staff patient and help! They provide immediately help and clarification for me. It turns out that it was not from hotel spending. Thanks a lot! And the Manger Flora is super nice and friendly!
