Detailed entry instructions received with combination, could not have been any easier. Plenty of information received in advance. House was clean, tidy and very well equipped, had everything that we needed (see below). Hot tub was a bonus and was well used, it was clean and ready to use on arrival. Bed linen and towels (see below) were provided, along with plenty of various games in the cupboards to use.

It is not that we didn't like anything, but could I suggest mentioning in the description for the property that no tea towels will be provided, bring your own. It highlighted bed linen and towels were provided, so we (wrongly) assumed this included tea towels. We abided by the rules for the pets, after reading the notice left for us, saying no pets upstairs, on furniture or beds. The gate at the bottom of the stairs could have been better, with it being flimsy the dogs did try to get underneath. It would have been better to have known in advance that dogs were not allowed upstairs, rather than finding out on arrival. I understand no pets on the furniture or beds, which is not an issue, but our dog sleeps in a crate, so being two floors down was rather an inconvenience.

Great stay, perfect location for a quick walk into town, house had everything that you could possibly want. Loved the coffee machine, there were coffee beans, tea bags/sugar, syrup, marshmallows etc! Clean & comfortable, yes house is a bit rough in some places but not sure why people mention it as a bad point in the reviews. Absolutely no issues with hot tub, was ready on arrival - the lid is broken and bits do float in but absolutely not a big deal! Would definitely stay again when we next decide to visit - we loved it !!

There was quite a lot of rubbish outside the front of the house on arrival but was dealt with once we were in. There was a problem with the hot tub being dirty but after contacting the hot tub maintenance guy this was sorted the next day so all good after that. Could do with more wardrobe / drawer space in all rooms as there was not enough space for clothes

Location was great, house looks better in real life than in the photos. Kitchen equipment was excellent, we had everything we needed. Hot tub was huge and ready to use for us upon arrival. Bedrooms standards is 50/50 some of the rooms are really nice while others pretty basic.

More towels would be nice as there was one tiny towel per person, and while using a hot tub, it would be nice to have plenty! Also I think that checking in at 5pm and check out af 10am and charging £20 for changing it by an hour is diabolical.

We had a wonderful stay. The property is spacious and catered well for our large family group. The hosts are welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The location is great and close enough to walk to the beach and harbour. Perfect accommodation for families. The hot tub and house were spotlessly clean and very well serviced.

We found the hot tub tricky to get to the right temperature but it was great to have one available to use. The house is up a steep hill from Ilfracombe Town but there's parking available in town if walking isn't an option.

Really enjoyed the decor, hot tub is amazing and rear garden lots of spaces to sit and enjoy the sun and company.

Very very minor, we had difficulty getting access, which is purely my fault for not reading the book in forms fully, but I do think a txt msg to say the PIN code to access the key lock would be helpful

Comfortable and spacious home. It was well equipped with everything we needed for our long weekend away. Close enough that we could walk to shops or drive to nearby beaches to explore the area

Water pressure in the shower died if anyone was washing dishes so just had to work around that.

Great location in a lovely quiet street in Ilfracombe. Easy check-in using lock box. Beautiful house with plenty of space, there was also a PlayStation with some games and a few jigsaw puzzles, but we didn't use these. Sky TV (bear in mind you have to switch the box itself on, the controller won't work otherwise). Clean, and we enjoyed the hot tub! Can recommend The Wellington pub (5 min walk).

The back door doesn't close unless it's locked, so we used a shoe to prop it closed while we were in the garden. Some instructions for the hot tub would be useful for us tech luddites, and it does take a long time to heat up. Keep an eye on food outside, because we had a nosey seagull. No other issues :)

We had an amazing stay at Belmont Villa.. Rooms were lovely and clean. Beds were very comfortable and we slept very well. Hot tub was on and ready for to use when we arrived.. And even though it was bad weather and very stormy the Hot tub was lovely to be in for an hour after dark. We enjoyed everything about our stay and have no complaints at all. We will definitely be staying again.

There's nothing not to like.

I think everything. Very well equipped kitchen perfect size rooms, tv in 3 rooms which was very helpful aa the weather wasn’t great.

It is not what I didn’t like it is just need for hot tup instructions. You were so kind to set it up for us but it was unbearable hot and we didn’t know how to tuen the temperature down.
