We booked the hotel in the last minute. We are a family of 5, and we came from the zaltsburg area were we had a big apartment for all the family, so A hotel wasn't ideal for us because we had to split into 2 rooms ... But... Once we got there we realized we've come to a wonderful place. The building itself is beautiful and there is a magical atmosphere inside. The owner was so kind and recommended us with really great restaurants and places to visit with the kids. All of his recommendations were absolutely awesome! The breakfast was very rich and tasty - for the kids and for us, and the staff was helpful and kind. There are washing machines and dryers near the hotel operrated by money. The showers, the beds - were comfortable and great. The location was good for us to travel and come back. Overall, it was a great place to stay!

We stopped over for a couple of nights and were given an extremely warm welcome by the host, George. The hotel has a strong family feel and the layout of the reception space means it’s easy to strike up conversations with fellow travellers or just enjoy a quiet evening drink. Our room was excellent - whilst the hotel’s charm lies in its traditional style and strong sense of history our room was one of a few that have recently been refurbished. The bathroom was modern with a huge walk-in shower and the bedroom was fresh and new whilst retaining traditional features. Breakfast was generous with a variety of food to suit all, both hot and cold dishes. Transport links to Innsbruck were good - a 5-minute walk to the train station where there was also a number of bus stops for various routes. The hotel itself is a fascinating place; there’s a functional schnapps cellar and lots of features that speak of the building’s history.

The property is in a small village and is a little isolated - I knew this when I booked. The hotel does not serve an evening meal and choices to eat elsewhere were quite limited unless you’re happy to drive. There is a larger town with modern shops, bars and entertainment facilities just a few minutes down the main road, I wish we’d known about it earlier as it would have influenced our dinner choices.

All of the staff were very accommodating, kind and really made sure I enjoyed my stay. They offered local places to eat and taxi services even going above and beyond to help me find the cheapest quote for a taxi back to the airport on my last day as the prices went up due to the ski season! The breakfast was perfect as I was here for a work trip and needed something quick, easy but filling. My room was clean and comfortable I can't fault it. If ever I return to Austria, I will be staying here again!

The hotell was really nice and the staff including the owner were really helpful and went out of their way to maximize our stay that only included two nights. The rooms were nice and clean. They had a nice bar in the lobby and a really nice view of the mountains from the courtyard. My only regret is that I didn't have time for a drink or two sitting relaxing in the courtyard. I really recommend this hotell.

Really friendly! We have seldom been welcomed with so much warmth and hospitality. We were happy from the first hello. The owner / proprietor switched between German, perfect English and Italian flawlessly. We were impressed! He also offered a great restaurant recommendation and was able to provide us with an additional pillow. The breakfast buffet was excellent! We aren't British but were impressed by the scrambled eggs, bacon and baked beans. It also featured a make your own juice machine with carrots and apples and some of the biggest croissants we have ever seen.

We booked a mobile home and it was the best decision made tbh amazing place, gorgeous view. We were lucky not to have any neighbors, so it was really secluded and peaceful! Everything you need for a comfortable stay is In the house ( except of blankets - it is really cosy on the terrass in the evening, but cold :D) We had two days of breakfast, the second one was much reacher choice, probably more people in the hotel) Really enjoyed everything about the place. 10/10

Nice, old style hotel close to motorway so you can enjoy visiting Tirol and beyond. Very good breakfast that can be had indoors or outside (if weather's good). The car park has two EV chargers if you need to charge your electric vehicle. Very friendly staff that will guide you where to have dinner or what to see in the area.

Room could have been more spacious for two people.

Worked out for us as a very comfortable stop on the way! The hotel is in an interesting, old building, but the rooms are of course equipped with contemporary furniture. Convenient location - quiet but still close to the Autobahn. Smiling staff, very good English spoken. Nice breakfast.

The room was spacious enough and newly renovated. Staff was really helpful. The owner said building’s history goes back to 15th century. You can feel the historical vibe of the hotel.

Nothing really. Breakfast could be better but it was OK.

Beautiful property and location. Beautiful, comfortable and clean room. Postcard views from my room! Absolutely loved it.

Only thing was there is no kettle in room so one needs to ask for tea.
