A wonderful hidden gem! For 1 week this oasis of tranquility was the ideal base for me to: - Relax. - Work remotely (excellent WiFi). - Explore and enjoy the real Bali away from the crowds of Ubud / Canggu. The bungalow was lovely - Spacious, very comfortable and super clean. The outdoors area with view to the waterfall was beautiful and relaxing. The owners were wonderful - Made and his wife were truly kind and always so helpful, both in person and via Whatsapp, from start to finish of the whole experience. And their 3 cats were really cute :) You can rent good scooters from them and they can also do your laundry. Location is both peaceful and convenient: - 2 min scooter ride or 5 min walk from the main road. - 2 min scooter ride to a convenience shop for fuel and multiple restaurants. - Many beautiful rice fields without crowds just 8 to 30 min scooter ride. In conclusion: A memorable experience that I´ll always remember fondly :)

We stayed 4 nights in Campuhan Guesthouse to escape the tourist crowds. You can always enjoy the sound of the nearby river and waterfall, plus amazing service and cooking (the food is delicious!). Leaning back to enjoy the sun next to the pool is also always an option. The entire hotel area is clean and well kept. It's actually even nicer than in the pictures, which surprised us. Additional benefit: they have 3 cats that are walking around or sleeping somewhere, which is really cute.

The location was perfect for us, but some might see the distance to the next shops or restaurants as a downside (you can explore a bit by foot but need a driver or scooter, which you can rent at the hotel).

Campuhan guesthouse is such a beautiful little oasis tucked away from the main road. It was a really cared for and lovely place to visit after being in the business of Ubud and easy to get to from there. The landscape around is just beautiful (forest and rice fields) and you can take a nice walk into the village which is quiet and charming. The people in Penebel were really friendly and I had some nice chats with locals there. The family who runs it is so friendly and helpful and everything was really clean and comfortable. You can have nice homemade food cooked there as well. I didn't have my own transport and just enjoyed a few days just walking around and reading books by the pool (and playing with the sweet cats).

This property is so peaceful and beautiful! It’s in a very quiet location which is nicely tucked away. The property is exactly as shown on the images, if not better! There is also a cute little waterfall across the way from where the pool is situated and this creates an even more beautiful and serene ambience. At first I arrived alone and I was welcomed with a Bali coffee & a beautiful banana pancake and both tasted divine! The family who own the property are so pure and kind hearted. Extremely friendly and welcoming. Also very welcoming of my friend who arrived later in the evening. We were both very impressed and I’ll 100% visit again ❤️🌺

I liked everything about the guesthouse. It is a newly built place so very clean and tidy. Bathroom was very nice and sealed so no bugs etc. The bed was comfortable as well. The food was cooked with lots of love and was very delicious. There is a pool there and you can even hear a waterfall as well behind the property. I actually checked out of a previous property and checked in here because of rat situation so was very happy the room and bathroom were sealed and nothing could come in. Was a pleasant change from the previous accomodation.

The only thing was I was a little cold as there was only a sheet on the bed. However I just put the aircon up more and had a small blanket with me so used that. If you let the staff know I'm sure they would provide a blanket as well. Luckily I had one with me so just used that. But everything else was lovely.

This guesthouse is truly magical! The family who runs it is incredibly warm and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure a perfect stay. The breathtaking natural setting, right next to the river and waterfall, creates a peaceful and unforgettable atmosphere. The rooms are beautifully designed and spotlessly clean, while the lush garden with its cozy pool adds to the charm. Simply put, I didn’t want to leave – and I can’t wait to return!

The family that owns the guesthouse is incredibly kind and made me feel so welcome! The pool is right next to a cute little waterfall and the rooms are really spacious and extremely clean! Food and drinks are available and they offer a really cheap transportation service by the owner, who is so kind and nice to talk to!

When you stay in the guesthouse Grab/Gojek will not be available, so plan ahead and organize a driver if you need to travel without your own scooter/car (the owner can help you!)

Made and Ketut were very welcoming and ensured we were comfortable. The guest house gardens are beautiful with a view of waterfalls. The room was elegantly decorated, and the bed was excellent. Made took us on a tour of the area, which was very informative, and we felt entirely safe with his impeccable driving.
