We stayed in Sabie Town House for two nights. We had a very good time, the place is really nice and very original. It feels like being inside a little oasis. Candy welcomed us very warmly, the breakfast is very good. Candy also prepared us a simple take away lunch for an excursion we had during the afternoon! The only note we feel to make is related to the humidity. This is an accommodation surrounded by greenery, as if it were inside a forest, so in general it is very humid. Some mold is present inside the room and the windows are completely covered with water in the morning.

Candi, the host, is a sweet as her name. Together with Dave they run The Sabie Town House with ease and professionalism that makes every guest happy. Not one request is too much bother, all is handled with a smile by Candi. We had a minor plumbing problem in our booked room and were immediately upgraded to the luxurious "Marrakesh" Suite with living room, walk-in cabinet, fridge and coffee station, large naturally lighted bathroom and king-size bed with a lovely view of the clean pool outside. Breakfast is freshly cooked providing all you could wish for. Brewed coffee, yoghurt, an assortment of cereals, eggs to your liking, sausages, brown or white toast, fruits, muffins, marmalade etc. Dinner is not offered, but good restaurants are nearby so no issue at al. The location is excellent for day trips to the Panorama Route with "Three Rondavels", "God's Window", "Bourke's Luck Potholes", "Lisbon Falls" and others. Even the Kruger Park Phabeni Gate (58km drive) is possible to enter for a day trip in the National Park.

Breakfast was really nice, both not and cold. The rooms were lovely and comfortable. There was a swimming pool which was great for the kids. Candy was great in arranging dinner for us at a restaurant in town. We had car problems and both Candy and Dave were super helpful and kind in getting us home from the restaurant and organising a car mechanic for us in town. Very much appreciated! This is great place to stay with wonderful people in a lovely town.

The common areas are simply great! All made of wood, great bar area, the bathroom in the tree is very nice to try out! The inside living room was very relaxing and I had a very good time reading there. The lodge is very well located in the Sabie town, just 1km away from good restaurants and also if you want to do the Panorama Road (which I strongly recommend). Our room was upgraded so we really don’t know how are the standard rooms, our suite was just perfect. Hugeeeee bathroom, hugeeee room, plenty of space to put your luggage, and a side door directly to the pool!

There’s nothing we can say about what we didn’t like about the property.

Sabie is a small town along the Panoramic route. The Sabie Guest house is located within walking distance of the Main Street. So the location is good and it was easy to walk to the small but good selection of restaurants there. The hosts are wonderful - warm, welcoming and want to ensure you have everything you need. It was quiet when we arrived so they kindly gave us a free room upgrade. The guest house itself is full of charm, very clean and well equipped. And finally, a great breakfast!

We stayed in the deluxe suite and it was beautiful, we had our own private decking with a hot tub which felt luxurious! Candi was in touch on the day to arrange check in times, and was so welcoming when we arrived. Candi even booked us a table at a restaurant that evening, and had so many helpful recommendations of what to do around the area. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and very filling! We couldn't fault our stay, thank you for having us and we hope to be back in the future!

everything about the place, the staff, was exceptional. everyone always has a smile on their faces. The room were clean, the breakfast was everything, kept you full the whole day. that triangular hash brown, and Candy, wow. what a hostess. you are my person forever. Already planning on coming back with my daughter again.

breakfast was great, the owners are willing to help you with what ever. They were fast en easy to contact (on whatsapp) and offered great tips. Mind you: there are a a few stairs to take when you take the room we had. Parking was not to spacious but perfectly fine to do (we had quite a big car). The chill area is great, the pool is just amazing. Whole atmosphere is lovely. It felt a bit like home :)

The amount of space was great. We used the outside area to chill out, I used the pool, it was lovely! Very peaceful location with some good hikes and scenic spots nearby. The breakfast was very good, a range of cereals, fresh fruit, and cooked options. The staff were very welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble.

Our room was very well equipped but unfortunately very close to the kitchen and a garage area, which meant quite a lot of noise and a lack of privacy ( I kept the curtains closed by the garage area). It was a small hindrance but did not distract from this bring a very good room and location.

We stopped here for our first stop after arriving in SA before reaching the Kruger National Park. Candi was extremely welcoming from the first moment and was very helpful. The rooms were beautiful and unique and we really felt the host cared about us as guests. A lovely breakfast and honesty bar.
