What I loved most about the property was the pool—it was perfect for relaxing and soaking in the serenity. Just next to it, there was a cozy little nest-like spot that offered a stunning view of the surrounding nature and the river. It was the perfect place to unwind and just take it all in. I also really enjoyed the fireplace, which added a warm, inviting touch to the space, and the outdoor shower was such a refreshing and unique experience.

The only thing I didn’t like was the mosquitoes—they were a bit of a nuisance. But honestly, aside from that, everything else about the property was absolutely perfect.

The hospitality and service received, absolutely super. The accommodation and views are breath taking. Special dinner in the room, the picnic near the lake including special cake prepared for my birthday. The swimming pool including fireplace while having dinner at your own privacy one can not fault. Simply amazing and I will most Certainly return. We stayed at the Two bedroom Villa with a private meditation space, including magnificent views and the sound of birds when you wake. Fresh smell of nature. Amazing!!

The location is very special in the middle of nowhere and you are really all by yourself. Also the service is great. The room and the decoration was great and adds to the experience of being in the jungle. Also would really advise to book the cinema evening with private dinner which is really special.

The general staff was not that experienced and it felt awkward interacting with them. Then the pool by the lodge was supposed to be heated but it wasn’t really. And the warm water supply is very limited so while there is a nice bath, you cannot really use it. Isolation of the room is also non existent making the room cold and it smells a bit earthy. Food was generally OK and changed every day but the breakfast was really below par compared to our other stays. Then not everything is included in the price, such as the minibar, drinks and lunch. I would see if this can be changed since it now loses a bit of the magical touch. Also note there is a 15 minute dirt road drive uphill that requires decent driving skills and does limit easy access to and from the accommodation.

All my senses went into overdrive since the minute that we turned from the tar road. I am unable to adequately describe how Timamoon makes me feel. I have been trying to find words that will express my delight in a way that will do Timamoon justice, but for now I am still at a loss for the correct ones. All my senses have been stimulated in the best way possible and I wish to return again and again. All the positives that everyone describes in their reviews is true but no words nor pictures can capture the magic. The vision, creativity, generosity, authenticity and beauty leaves one breathless. I spend hours researching potential magic spots for my travels and I enjoy a varied range of ‘travel magic’. From the simplistic to the grand. Timamoon has been a one-of-kind find. It ticks every single box that delights me . . . and then exceeds.

The view and the rooms and everything was just amaizing, Had very amaizing moments and all was amaizing The staff, facility everything They arrange the picnic, massage, the cinema with dinner there And as i am vegetarian they make sure that i have the best veg food Sure we coming back to Timamoon and explore new villas

What an amazing experience once again at this absolute gem of a boutique hotel. The feeling of serenity, surrounded by one of the most beautiful areas in the world, is unsurpassed. Dirk and his team simply do everything to make one feel destressed and most comfortable.

I've traveled around the world and this is by far the most amazing property I've ever stayed at. The staff goes above & beyond to provide a unique & luxurious stay at your individual chalet. Each comes with an individual plunge pool, outdoor dining, outdoor shower, and unique pieces from around the world. Exceptional!

Very secluded property that you need a good 4x4 vehicle to get to.

As you can already see from the pictures, the place is simply stunning .. What we can add to that is that the attention to detail is on point, food is exquisite and service is world class. Dirk, as front of house, the chef and the staff all massively exceed expectations, leading us to very much agree with some of the reviews we read before visiting - namely that having visited many many places around the world, this one ranks at the very top!!

It was pure luxury, decor beautiful, private swimming pool and outdoor shower ,dinners served in the privacy of your villa, visiting peacocks a delight, tasty food, well stocked fridge and luxurious toiletries, bird life, quiet and best of all Dirk the manager attentive and helpful even providing an escort off the property on the last day which was highly appreciated!... will recommend this property to anyone looking for a truly exceptional experience!!...?
