The best Lodge I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. High quality rooms, the set-up of the shower was something that was just far beyond pleasant, and high-quality service. Also, My Gorsh the friendliness of the stuff ...I swear they treat you like you the only guest that they have ever hosted. This is the one place that I would like to visit each and every year...every month if I could...Lol If only. But seriously this is by far one of theeeeeeee best place.

The fact that the place looked waaaaaay better in person than the pictures?? Yhoooo I don’t think the pictures do justice to the place! I highly recommend it shame.

On our arrival, the staff was very welcoming, we arrived later than the arrival time, however the admin lady was there to welcome us into our room, we love the room that she moved us to as soon as we showed her that our sliding door was not working, she was very friendly and wanted to make sure we are comfortable, all the staff members are great with people and want to make sure their guests are comfortable, food was great as well. My husband and I stately loved our stay there, the serenity and view are out of this world. Great value for money and what you see, is what you get😍😍😍

During breakfast the cakes and muffins were not covered and flies were all over them, so i could have some while i wait for my breakfast. The fact that they asked what kind of coffee you want, while the only free coffee that goes with breakfast is filter coffee and the latte, cuppucino etc are paid for. Maybe mention that to guest so that we don't order and find with a surprise bill or write that disclaimer on the menu were we select the breakfast of choice.

Everything. The location was incredible, the staff were so friendly and the chef really cared about the guests enjoying his food - which was delicious! We arrived after a 4 hour or so drive and it was dark by the time we got there as well. The owner recognised this and didn’t hassle us with a full check-in - he just showed us around the room and gave us the information we needed to know. We left really early when we checked out and we were given a takeaway breakfast which was really nice. The setting was just wonderful with the sound of nature all around you. We really enjoyed our stay at this property and would love to return one day.

Nothing - it was brilliant.

The hotel itself is beautiful. The staff is incredible and were particularly well-equipped to accommodate our 5-year old daughter. The food on site is great.

There's nothing I can honestly say I didn't like. Just a word for those who are not familiar with the area – The lodge is near a town called Hazyview which is roughly an hour from almost anywhere else in Mpumalanga you'd like to visit. So if you want to visit Kruger National Park, Graskorp and more of the hotspots just prepare for that. Hazyview itself has a lot of nice activities so you may not even need to travel that far. This isn't a complaint just a note!

Overall the property is great. Just as advertised. The lake view, the rooms and dining area all are magnificent. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely visit again. The manager ensures that the guests staying at the property are made to feel welcome and have the freedom to enjoy the property without being disturbed or overcrowded by day visitors. The staff are super friendly and were attentive

The showers need improving. The water was lukewarm at best and because the shower head is so high the water is even colder with very little pressure when it reaches you. It being a very cold weekend did not make it better

This was probably our most perfect stay at a venue yet. The staff were very friendly, helpful, competent and genuine in what they do. They photos don't do justice to the reality of the views. It is so quiet and relaxing. The food was great, the swimming pool was amazing and you could see numerous large tilapia (kurper) in the water. The hiking trail was a fun activity and very beautiful. The breakfast was fantastic, the decor was amazing and the interaction with the owner/manager was good. This trip was truly borderline perfection.

There was nothing about the lodge itself which was not to like. Maybe for others to take note of - the last 15km of the road to the facility is full of potholes, but it affects all lodges, so just drive carefully.

The location is breathtaking and so serene at the lake. Also it is very private and not crowded. The rooms are very spacious, tastefully decorated and furnished. We loved staying there, it was our third time that we returned. It is good to know that for breakfast only normal coffee and tea is included. Cappuccinos/Caffee Latte/ or similar will be charged. Since we were not informed about that, management was so kind to take it off our final bill. All is all we loved staying there and we will return.

The rooms were picturesque, exactly or rather even better than the pictures, beautifully furnished and spacious. I loved sitting on the patio of the breakfast deck and the lakeside room. The breakfast menu was wonderful, and I really enjoyed the breakfast. Staff were all friendly and great, the lodge has its own amazing hiking trails, and it is in close proximity to several great attractions. As a remote worker, I was thrilled to have a great and comfy desk to work on during my stay. Thank you for a wonderful short stay. We’ve had an amazing of 2 nights stay in Bambuu lodge. We loved everything about this lodge. Very helpful and kind staff, food was amazing..!! Our room was spacious , extremely clean, very comfortable and very beautiful. The lodge itself has a very sophisticated interior design. From the lobby, the restaurant, the room, the kitchen… just gorgeous! if we ever have a chance to come back to HAZYVIEW, we’ll certainly come and and stay at Bambuu.
