Very nice villas with private pool and great view! We even met 2 girafs and other animals around the villas. The food is delicious and we had the chance to experience meat from the springbok, kudu and crocodile. Everything was very well organized for us by the owner of the Zarafa incl. activities (big 5 safari, panorama tour) and airport transfers.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Zarafa in Hazyview for two nights, and I could have easily extended my stay for a week if time permitted. The experience was flawless, with exceptional attention to detail that truly set it apart. The villa was absolutely stunning, offering complete privacy to enjoy the pool, dine on the gazebo, and unwind in a serene setting with breathtaking views, all while being completely isolated from any noise or distractions. The bathroom was equally impressive, featuring a spacious his-and-her vanity, a bath stocked with an array of luxurious salts and gels, and a large, well-appointed shower. Dinner was a standout experience – a five-course meal that would satisfy even the heartiest of appetites. As a fine dining chef, I must say that every dish was executed to perfection. Barrie, the owner, went above and beyond to personally introduce himself to all the guests. He made sure everyone felt welcome and took extra care to accommodate any special requests. He even arranged an early breakfast pack and provided binoculars for our early game drive. If you have the opportunity to stay at Zarafa and choose not to, you’re truly missing out on an exceptional experience that goes far beyond just a place to stay. As an added bonus, we were lucky enough to spot the resident giraffe during our stay. Barrie shared that she sometimes drinks from the pool, although she didn’t do so while we were there.

This is such a beautiful tranquil place from the moment you enter the property it's as if you've been transported away to your own private oasis. The attention to detail, the manner in which the owner and staff cater to your every need. The food is out of this world it's simply a work of art , not only beautiful to look at but its so flavorful you can't wait for the next meal to see and taste the chefs masterpieces. I was sad to leave lol, It was a spur of the moment decision, and I wished I had booked a longer stay, but next time I definitely will. Theres no negative aspects about this place.

If you are an especially private person, you will love the place. Beautiful views, good service, attentive kind hosts, private pool, comfortable rooms, bathtub that included various bath salts and bubble bath, beautiful decor everywhere.

The restaurant is very hot, even with the ceiling fan on above us. Waiters are a little too attentive, understandablely offering good service, but it feels as though they watch while you eat, which made the vibe a little awkard. The dressing table is very dimly lit. But overall, it is the best place I have stayed at.

This place was amazing! I felt like a rock star walking in and taking in just how beautiful it was. I've stayed in some beautiful places over the years but this blew most of them out of the game. The service was delightful, the food incredible and setting outstanding. When you see photos on a website you know they're the best of the best of what's available. Well I felt like I'd walked into the photo.

The property was beautiful, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. I fell ill during my stay, and they went above and beyond—helping me find a nearby doctor, offering advice, and even arranging a simple dinner based on my request. Their attention to small details truly made my experience a positive one. Huge thanks to Peter from the Zarafa and Lindo, our wonderful safari tour guide. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without their support. Kudos to the whole team!

Amazing, amazing, amazing... A wonderful place where everything was perfect. Perfect service, amazing food ( incl. excellent Tea!!), super hosts. From the private pool, gazebo or bed, you are overlooking the surrounding hills and valleys. Go there and enjoy!

Barrie and his staff offer the best service I have ever received in my life. The property is beautiful and well maintained. Each villa has its own private living and sleeping space with a private pool and outdoor dining area where you can request breakfast or dinner to be served. Barrie was also able to sort out all requests for safaris, trips, transfers etc. The food is absolutely incredible with a huge choice for breakfast and different multi-course dinner menu each night inspired by Barrie’s travels. Barrie’s team catered to our dietary requirements (vegetarian and pescatarian) and the food and service were like fine dining but with very generous portions!
