Surf Hotel, in particular, and Vasiliki, in general, is the ideal place for active water sports lovers. In the morning, when the sea water is calmer, we were able to swim leisurely, as well as in the afternoon, when the wind picks up, making it easier for surfers. It's just that the wind was blowing up fine particles from the very salty water. The hotel has a parking lot in the inner courtyard, cars are safe. We had access to the sunbeds with umbrellas located on the grassy beach, as well as by the pool. We stayed in the double room with balcony and side sea view, equipped with absolutely everything we needed. I got the hair dryer, which was not in the bathroom, from the reception. Daily cleaning is ensured by the very kind and discreet staff. In fact, the entire staff of the hotel with whom I interacted at the restaurant, bar, reception, was a 10. The breakfast, included in the price, was more than sufficient, the Swedish buffet being organized in repeated cycles of three days. A place where we will definitely return with pleasure!

I highly recommend this hotel. We came with 4 people looking to windsurf, the wind was not playing ball though, but because of this hotel, it's location, the facilities and the staff, we still had an awesome time. We arrived very late due to a flight delay, we would have fully understood if the hotel staff would have just left a key somewhere for us. Instead Makis stayed up for us and made us feel very welcome (even though he had an early rise for the breakfast the next morning)! This turned out to be really typical for the staff, everyone was super friendly and helpfull. The rooms are simple but clean and well supplied with airco, a fridge, thea and coffee set and a tv. The matras was a bit hard for my liking, but this is personal of course. From the rooms you can almost jump in the pool or sea. The breakfast buffet was also very good, including (but certainly not limited to) fresh fruit, delicious greek yoghurt, pastries and eggs.  Lunch was not included but was very reasonably priced and very good (make sure to try the ntakos) so we ate at the hotel almost every day (this also gave us a good chance to monitor the flag for signs of the wind).  We rented our gear at the surfschool that's operated by the hotel. If you're a windsurfer or winger I would highly recommend doing this, as a guest of the hotel you get a good discount and they have nice gear from Duotone, Severne and Goya. Also the guys and girls from the rental are very helpfull and take time to give you tips and help carry your gear. We even received some short freestyle lessons when there was no wind (thanks Tom!).  The beds on the beach are free to use for guests of the hotel, so great when you're having to wait for wind (having an iced coffee and looking out over the beautiful water really takes the sting out of the lack of wind). All in all I'm looking foward to coming back here soon, and can recommend this hotel to everyone!

This is very personal, but the matras was a bit hard for me.

For a 3 star hotel the amenities are great, there is a pool bar with affordable and tasty drinks, snacks and lunch menu. Beach is right in front of the hotel and the hotel has its own private area with sunbeds and shades free of charge for the hotel guests. There is also a shower nearby. The room had a small balcony with the sea view, even though it said it was with the garden view, so this was a nice surprise. Breakfast was great too, the food is pretty much the same each day, but there is a variety of food so you don't have to eat the same things every day. All members of the staff were very kind.

The room could have been a little better, but all in all for a 3 star hotel it was all good. We didn't have a drying rack.

Great breakfast, amazing location, wonderful staff.

It is too expensive for what you get. The rooms are quite old, and lok like they never wore refurbished. Our sheets were stained but we asked and immediately got new ones. But the worst part is noise. It is absolutely horribily noisy. Sound carries too much through the halls, it is drafty so people ar SLAMMING doors all day and all night. You can't sleep at night because young people are coming very late from parties, and can't sleep in the morning because older pople get up very early and start SLAMMING doors. There are house rules about being quite, but the staff is not enforcing them and that is what I consider Hotel's fault. Rules exist for a reason.

I received an upgrade to a side sea view room - my balcony view of the sea was incredible. Bed was quite springy and more comfortable than a lot of hotel beds in Vass. Fridge in room was quiet and having a kettle was really handy. Breakfast was great. All staff were really helpful and friendly. Located close to the local shop and restaurants in Ponti. Wifi worked well and the desk was a good workspace. Pool and sunbeds were good.

As a solo traveller I would have appreciated more of a sociable vibe around the pool/bar. Also on one night there was a lot of loud noises in the hotel until around 4am. There was no way of letting housekeeping know that I didn't need the room servicing - on one day I went out and returned to find my balcony door open and for security reasons would have preferred that didn't happen.

unbeatable location, extremely friendly and helpful staff who remembered me 2 years after my first visit. The hotel cleaning staff work extremely hard, the room was always cleaned to a great standard.

The breakfast included does not always have an expansive range of options, but we found something tasty to eat every morning - a great deal at the price point.

Great location because it facilitates the access to both east and west coasts of the island. It has a nice beach with smooth sand and nice pool.

Great location between the beach and main road, with ample parking, and easily walking-accessible to all the nearby bars and restaurants around the bay of Vasiliki. A breakfast to be savoured. And the staff are super-friendly: they upgraded us to a sea-view room.

We have no criticism.

The location was very nice as it was just on the beach and there was a parking just in front of the hotel. The staff were very kind and they made us feel like at home at all times. There were some problems with the electricity and the water because of a thunderstorm, but even this did not ruin our holiday, as it was only for one day and we came up with the idea to visit Nidri.
