Our NGO had a conference in the hotel. the staff was excellent in preparing the conference room and addressing out needs. The conference catered food was excellent. I stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks and had breakfast every day. After the first 2 days, I realized that one could order eggs or omelet. Which was fine but why didn't they tell me at the beginning? Fruit selection was good. Coffee was also good. the wam milk for coffee was frequently empty but refilled on request.

Vasquo the manager is outstanding-such a leader-so amazing-really cares about each individual and wants you to have the most amazing stay possible and will do everything for you to make that possible. He is such a kind, lovely , helpful man with such a lovely presence. The breakfast fruit is amazing-so are the pancakes but it was Vasquo that made our stay absolutely awesome

I had a very nice and spacious room (it was a studio), everything was perfectly working. The staff is really nice. For the salty tongue, the breakfast was tasty. The dinner at the restaurant was delicious. The hotel is centrally located, and I could walk to the "malecon". The beautiful Tunduru gardens is 5 minutes walk. The Gil Vicente café is close (even if I did not get a chance to venture there, it was in my list and I was happy to see it)

Maybe they should offer expresso at breakfast, that's what I missed and why I took 1 point

I liked the fact that the hotel was central to everything. The staff was very friendly, especially Ebrahim, at our arrival. Our rooms were on 2 different floors and we requested our rooms be next to each other and he moved us to the 9th floor with interleading rooms. It's absolutely amazing. That will be a 10 for him.

The breakfast did not have much of a variety on the hot meals. The pastries were great

Most staff didn't speak English... teach them or take them to do basic English course. English is the primary language for most travellers or tourists. Another thing is to put the name tag on your food (breakfast buffet), some people are allergic to some of the food.

The view from the room (11th floor) was excellent of the Cathedral, the Katembe bridge and the city. The unit was clean and we were upgraded at no additional charge. The buffet breakfast was exceptional and provided for the entire families differing tastes and requests.

The parking is not the easiest to navigate with a trailer.

The hotel is located right next to the Cathedral of Maputo. WiFi connection was stable and good quality. Breakfast was included and had a variety of choices. The receptionist Mr. Ibraimo Lai was amazing: he was very professional and helpful. We booked a basic room, and we asked if he could assign a room at higher floor, and he ended up upgraded us to a suite room, which has the best view of the city. If one day we come back to Pestana Rovuma, he will be one of the factors.

Excellent location to explore the city by foot. Walking distance from the main attractions. Nice view over the city centre. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff.
