The room was amazing, had a lovely comfortable big bed, a massive balcony wjth an amazing view where we could chill and also workout. Good sized bathroom too. Was cleaned everyday and drinking water available. There was a minibar in the room and the prices were very reasonable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and when we needed our washing doing this was done in a timely manner. The pool was lovely, nice and cool to help in the temperatures but not too cold you couldn't stay in.

Far out from the main strip in samui, which we did know when booking, so we expected it. We did walk in 1 night and stopped at a few bars and dinner which made it easier.

I liked the restaurant and bar area heaps. Great views, fantastic food with a great depth of choices, , the cocktails and other smoothies etc , and the ambiance were the highlights of our stay, dont change the music, it lent a great vibe to the restaurant area, super helpful and friendly staff and management. What a location looking out over the bay. Also good taxi service from right next to the Hotel, we did a couple of tours with them

The bed was comfortable, the balcony and view fantastic, and everything seemed to work. The bathroom in the bungalow we stayed in needs a freshen up. Whoever did the tiling job in there,,, get a professional to do the job next time. Hot water was good, once i figured out the hot and cold connection had been mounted in reverse. Not a complaint , just a heads up. I ran an accommodation business for years and had a unit where the kitchen sink had the same problem. Never did manage to swap the connection either lol. Thanks for a great stay though, Ill always remember those few days.

Rooms were nice and the location was good other than having to get a taxi to restaurants etc. Staff were very friendly.

The restaurant was overpriced and the food wasn't particularly good. It wasn't the traditional thai cuisine that I am used to and was a little pretentious as though they were attempting to aspire to a wealthier clientele. I have paid less for better. Copacabana in Chaweng Mall was the best in the area in our opinion and cheaper inclusive of taxi.

The villas are nestled on the side of the mountain. Unbelievably beautiful views of the ocean and surrounding city. If you want to relax in a quiet beautiful surroundings, then this is the place. The rooms are a little bit dated but very livable and super clean. For the view I would give this hotel five star. Only need to renovate the rooms a bit.But you will enjoy your stay because the management and staff are fantastic.The food was amazing as well.

Loved the view from the rooms and the privacy they managed to create despite the closeness of the apartments. The staff service was unbeatable- friendly, willing to do anything for us.

The location had gorgeous views but was a bit far from accessible shops, restaurants and beaches. You have to walk down a VERY busy road - ON the road as there are no footpaths/sidewalks - and through a gap in a gate to get to the *private(?)* beach. To get to the other public beaches you have to hire a motorbike / car or go by taxi. We hired a motorbike for the week, so it was fine, and we would highly recommend having your own wheels for this location.

The second day in, I gave them a 5 star Google review as they were exceptional. At first I thought the location was too far out of town but it was perfect. We were in the middle of all directions you just can’t walk but no one can of all the people we met over this week long trip. They had a taxi friend that was less than Grab and so nice. Someone mentioned stairs to get to your room but that created great private views so I liked it. And these stairs are nothing compared to Europe. We loved the food and drinks. Many locals eat there because the food is excellent. The place had a small kitchen set up (hot plate, pans, plates, micro and fridge. Many food and drink options in the fridge to buy if you needed. They had cold water and a fresh fruit plate as our welcome gift. The views! The privacy from our deck! Great room with lots of room. A fantastic value too.

I am reaching to notice little things but we are on an island, for goodness sakes! These are things to mention for a fussy customer. The shower water was warm but not too hot. The shower is open concept so we closed the toilet lid to keep it dry. And the stairs would be an issue for a disabled person. But the town in general doesn’t fit for a disabled person.

Ive been coming to Dr Frogs for years but first time staying in their Boujis boutique resort, Breakfast was top quality and all the usual staff excellent service, friendly, organised. Room was good value and they have a kitchenette which was a plus, balcony views of the sea amazing, peaceful and relaxing. I was not disappointed and will be back again. Top quality and nice swimming pool with view. Location as always excellent to get to beaches and town. Food at Dr Frogs is very good quality I would say good value but some is expensive but you get very good service.

luggage not easy to get to room as no elevators which is fine as the staff and porter bring to room.

This was our favourite stay in all of SEA. The food at dr frogs is closer to western prices but definitely worth it. The staff in all areas of the hotel are exceptional, 5 star service all around. On our first day my partner got extremely sick and the team could not have been more helpful, they called the ambulance for us and did everything they could to help out and keep my partner calm. A special shoutout to Ice who I cannot thank enough. She stayed with my partner and massaged his hands as he was hyperventilating and it really helped him. Then we returned from hospital with very little notice after housekeeping had already gone home so she changed the sheets herself for us. They then regularly checked in with how we were going after the stay. The room is also STUNNING and very good value for money. Laundry as well is very well priced and done so well.

The only negative is it is quite far from the main tourist attractions/ main shops and it’s pretty difficult to get a grab. There’s not rly anything in walking distance as you have to walk directly on the highway. If you want to stay in this area I recommend hiring a bike and then otherwise it’s perfect.

The view from the bedroom, restaurant and pool was spectacular. The food at Dr Frogs was very good. The hotel is quite old, but it makes up for it with its comfortable bed and restful ambience. There is no direct access to a beach but a 10 min walk takes you to Chaweng beach. A 10-15 ride on a taxi or tut tut takes you to Chaweng town. This hotel is near the top of a rocky hill which means that one has to climb up and down stairs. The hotel is value for money.

I didn't like the shower area in the bathroom because it is not properly enclosed. Showering wets half the bathroom. The weather was hot and besides the pool, the room was the only refuge. There is no other cool area in the hotel.

Amazing view, amazing friendly and respectful staff fulfilling extra wishes (food and drinks room service :))! Delicious food with imported food for e.g Italian dishes 😁 Bike rental right next door with good prices und good quality.

There were quite some mosquitoes but they provide enough incense and spray to mitigate this (I only found it on the second day, so the bites are entirely on me 😅)
