Location is great as it is connected to the JR Takasaki station. I stayed in this hotel as my base to explore the neighbouring sites and towns via the rail network/buses. The single room is the usual size for single rooms in Japan and was nonetheless comfortable.

Nothing to dislike

This was amazing! Larger than your typical small hotel room and everything was clean and comfy and good. They give you a free water bottle in the fridge as well which is a plus as most hotels don't provide water. It is right next to train station which is amazing if you're planning to catch an early train the next day!

The sign to get to the hotel on the 6th floor is in Japanese so I had to use Google translate to find out that I had to go to the lift to the 6th floor. Foreigners might miss this.

We arrived by train, and the location couldn't have been more perfect. It was straightforward to walk from the station exit to the hotel lobby, without leaving the building. The room was as anticipated; clean and comfortable, a little dated but this didn't bother us for one night. Given its location, shops, supermarkets, restaurants all within walking distance. It was the perfect base for our late-night arrival prior to hiring a car the next morning. Staff were kind. Would stay again!

Breakfast: The most impressive breakfast that I've ever had. As a vegan, I appreciate a variety of vegetables and some other food options. Also, they had allergen marks in front of the dishes and staff answered to all of my questions. They know their job well. Also, you can take out a cup of coffee with you after the breakfast. Location: it's right at the station Rooms: rooms are soundproof and we couldn't hear any noise or train sounds, it was very quiet and we had a good sleep. Beds: super comfortable. 5 stars for the pillow options. They had my favorite type - orthopedic pillow. I slept like a bear during hibernation. Amenities: loved that they have body lotion and a bottle of water as an amenity at the room. Not many hotels offer it. Also, the quality of toothbrushes and other amenities is high. Cost: Very good cost performance. Highly recommend to everyone.

We liked everything about this hotel, which is located right on top practically of the Takasaki Train Station. It is clearly a hotel targeting businesspeople. The breakfast offerings were abundant and diverse, Western and Asian. There was a coin self-service laundry which we used - and had not expected. Our room was small. Bed was very comfortable.

It was a great stay. It's amazing to just get out of bed and already be at the station. I would highly recommend this if you want to take a 1 day stop at Takasaki because it's literally in the station. Very easy access. It also has a luggage sending service, so it's perfect for backpacking with big luggage!

The staff is very friendly and supportive of all requests. The room is very quiet, cozy, and well-maintained every day. The WiFi connection is good and stable. The hair shampoo and body soap smell very nice.

No public bath is available! The single room is very small, i.e. there is not enough space for a big luggage opening, thus I need to open and close my case back and forth to pass through the way. The moisturizer is not set up by default, and it could hinder the passway.

Like other Metropolitan hotels, it is conveniently connected to Takasaki station and a shopping mall. The hotel was clean and the room I stayed in was large and comfortable for a family of 3. Breakfast was wonderful as well.

Service was good, rooms were clean and comfortable and a good size. Location was extremely convenient with the JR station just below and lots of restaurants around.

Location Location Location, the hotel is just up from the JR station and within a shopping mall. Across the road there is also shopping malls and big supermarket. Staff are extremly welcoming and the room is modern and clean. They do offer breakfast and buffet lunch but we didn't have time to try.
