The staff was exceptionally friendly and accomodating. Our room was instantly upgraded. There were many aspects of the hotel that felt very well thought out. Breakfast was good.

Such a charming boutique hotel with beautiful decor and a welcoming atmosphere. The location was perfect — just a short stroll to the waterfront and to Porto Montenegro. The staff were genuinely warm and kind, making me feel at home from the moment I arrived. My room was small but wonderfully cozy — perfect for a comfortable night’s rest after a full day exploring — and it even had a private jacuzzi, which was the perfect way to unwind. As a delightful surprise, they gifted me a delicious bottle of their family-owned white wine, which made my stay feel even more special and personal.

Honestly, nothing to dislike — everything felt just right for a short and cozy stay.

Review: 10/10 – Truly Exceptional Stay! Our stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic from beginning to end. The staff were some of the kindest and most respectful people I have ever met – genuinely warm-hearted and always ready to help with a smile. The hotel itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. To our surprise and delight, they even upgraded our room free of charge, simply out of kindness and generosity. On top of that, we received thoughtful gifts during our stay, which made the experience feel even more special and personal. It’s rare to come across such sincere hospitality. We felt truly welcomed and appreciated throughout our time there. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for not just a place to stay, but a place to feel at home. We will absolutely be coming back!

First of all all my comments and stars are for the hotel “Splendido Bay”, because we could not stay in Hotel Villa Royal because they have started a renewal construction on site, but it was no problem for us because the manager upgrated our stay (free of charge) to Splendido Bay Hotel just next to Villa Royal. i think they own both of these hotels but Splendido Bay Hotel is very new and has a higher star... we liked everything about the hotel: staff were all friendly, room was very clean and new, location was good...

Great staff! Breakfast is good and sufficient. The hotel is close to the city center and the airport, wonderful location.

When we arrived, the hotel was under construction and the management hadn’t given us any information about it. We were shocked, then we asked the restaurant across the hotel and he said we can visit “Splendid Hotel” since the owner is the same. So we went there and stayed there during our visit.

Very close to the beach with a great taverna right across the street. The emplyees were very friendly and helpful.

We got an upgrade to the twin hotel, which was a 4* hotel, but still in renovation. The room was big but not properly equiped like a 4* hotel, it was more of a 2 maybe 3* room. And it smelled of cigarettes, probably from the previous guest who smoked inside the room.

Great hotel, that we chose for our first night in Montenegro. Everything is very clean, cosy and stylish. The staff was very helpful and managed to provide an early check in :) Tasty breakfast!

The staff was very kind and caring. The Hotel has actually 4 Stars. Great beds, good view to the sea and all you could need in the bathroom. Also the breakfast is comprehensive.
