We had a wonderful stay at this charming apartment in the old town. The room was beautiful, spotless, and full of character. The staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The location is perfect – right at the edge of the old town, so everything is within easy walking distance. The courtyard is lovely and offers a great spot for breakfast. The highlight of our stay was definitely our room with a private rooftop terrace, which had stunning views. Highly recommended!
The only minor downside was that the shower was a bit drafty and slightly leaky and also the hair dryer should be replaced.

Excellent location in the Old Town, still a quiet spot. Our room was on the ground floor with a nice small patio to sit outside. The room's size is comfortable and spacious even for a longer stay. The thick stone walls kept the room at a cool temperature. We didn't try their breakfast, but the neighbouring cafe has nice options, as well as the restaurants on the Promenade.
The air seemed to be humid (water stains on the wall) attracting also mosquitos. The neighbouring cocktail bar had very loud music well into the night and the church bell starts at 5 - these made relaxing rest a bit complicated

Location was excellent! Like an oasis as you leave the hot, bustling streets into their quiet interior courtyard. Super close to the bus station, to suitable Uber drop off, or a short walk to the ferry. This is all super important if you overpacked like me…easy access. The Staff were incredibly helpful for local sites, but also very much so in giving me travel advice for future destinations in the area and beyond. I needed some locals knowledge and they were patient and helpful beyond expectations. The advice to go to Korcula was perfect! I’m thankful they allow you to drop your luggage early and return for check-in. And the room was great! Thank you again

One of the old hotels with great character and friendly. Brilliant location in the old town and we had a nice terrace too. You paid for a breakfast some 12 euros but it was very good and you could sit in the old cool courtyard. Because it was hot its location was even more welcome.
A friendly staff member carried our bags but our room was at the top so there were a lot of steps. Due to its historic nature there was no lift but there would be other rooms easier to access.

Beautiful courtyard, lovely apartment with everything we needed and a newly refurbished bathroom. Staff were friendly and really helpful. Perfect location for arrival in Trogir, close to all the amenities and sites and also the northern gate of the old town. We only stayed one night, but we would happily come back.
Sadly we couldn’t use the hot tub (main reason for booking) because it had been raining and windy and they needed to drain it. No ones fault at all, but a little disappointing as it was my birthday and we wanted something special. We were compensated with a free bottle of wine though, so all’s well that ends well! ☺️ There is a lively bar out front which created a bit of noise when we were trying to get to sleep. Also the church bells went off at 5.30am for a really long time! No idea why as we then didn’t hear them again but it was loud and woke us up with a start. Again, not the hotel’s fault and it is a nice sound, just maybe not at 5.30am for 5 minutes.

We missed a connecting flight in Paris and ended up arriving in Split at 11 pm and missing our connection there as a result. In a state of emergency with 3 cats, 5 people, and 12 suitcases, I had to search frantically to find accommodation nearby which took cats. Palace Derossi did, and once we arrived, all the travel nightmare horror dissolved and became a dream. The gentleman at reception, Ivo, was so friendly and warmly welcoming and understanding of our predicament. He helped me find bowls for food for my kitties and helped my friends and me to our rooms with all the baggage. My room was a mini suite, and it was amazing, beautifully furnished and super quiet, so I was able to get a decent amount of sleep after that terrible trip. I slept through breakfast, but my friends had it and said it was wonderful and plentiful with many great options. I only wish we had been able to stay longer in this beautiful old manor house hotel! I hope I get a chance to return.
Nothing could have been better, it was all perfect.

There are not enough words in English or Croatian (or any other language) to express how thrilled I was with my measly one night stay at Palace Derossi. I picked up their brochure many years ago but never had a chance to stay until this one night, when I missed a connecting flight and ended up in Split too late to get to my final destination. Trogir is like a mini Dubrovnik, so when I realized I had to spend the night in Split, I was so excited to at least make lemons out of lemonade and stay at this property I'd so admired many years ago. The young man at reception, Ivo, could not have been kinder or more welcoming, despite it being midnight. He helped me with my heavy bags and welcomed the 3 kitties I had with me. I had an amazing mini suite with a living room area, bathroom, and wonderful room with a nice big bed on which I slept beautifully after a very traumatic day of travel. My friends had the breakfast, and said it was fantastic, but I chose to sleep in that little bit more. The hotel itself looks like a medieval manor, it was immaculate and I only wish I had had more time to stay there and explore the area again. My room was so quiet I could hear a pin drop, and nothing disturbed me throughout the night. The shower had wonderful pressure and plenty of hot water (sometimes a challenge). Thank you for the most delightful balm on my wounds after my hideous travel day from LA. I am now going to give the reverse of this review to Air France. Don't ever fly them if you can help it!!
Everything was perfect, thank you!

Fantastic location, very clean bedroom which was big. Tastefully decorated. Plenty of hot water for showering, quiet, felt historic and safe. Nice breakfast (extra) where you could sit in doors or out. Easy to get to from Split airport. Catch the No 37 bus from the main road outside the airport to Trogir bus station. walk across the small bridge in to Trogir, turn right by the city wall gate and you will see the hotel sign within 20 steps!
Nothing!

Amazing space and location. Tin who was running the hotel was fantastic. They helped us with luggage storage and beach towels. I couldn't be any happier with the experience. The bed was quite comfortable. The rooms were large and beautiful. The aircon was nice.
There is club right outside the hotel which was a bit loud and went late. It didn't impact my sleep, but it did for my partner.

We had a really large terrace, presenting great views. The air conditioning worked really well which was really important as it was hot when we were staying. The place had so much character, with a beautiful courtyard to enjoy our breakfast.
The building is so old that, understandably, there were no lifts so there were a lot of steps to get to our room. Even though we were all reasonably fit, it did make us puff!! We were on the top floor though, and there are rooms lower down.
